Just desserts for a bitter man. I'm sure it will make his hatred of the military intensify, but it is just dessert for this loser.

Today will be a short post from me, as we should all be spending time with our families rather than surfing and blogging. Same goes for me.
Pedestrian Infidel would like to wish all our readers and their families a safe and joyous Christmas this season. And for our Jewish friends, we hope you had a joyous Hannukah this year as well.
With any luck, we'll all still be around next year to see in the next Festive Season.

I remember that I used to be very fond of martyrdom. I never forgot what my parents and teachers taught me about martyrdom—they told me, that’s what Mohammed always wished for. Since I wanted to be like him in all respects, death was constantly on my mind. I wasn’t scared of it, rather, I wanted to embrace it.
Today, when I look back, I see that wish in a distant corner locked up in a box, because Christianity taught me how to ‘live’, not die. Through Christianity, I learned how to make the world around me better, and I forgot all about devising heroic plans to die. The difference between Christianity and Islam, to me, is the same as that between life and death and as clear as the difference between light and darkness. Islam always seemed to be a quick one-way trip to death—the answer to all the world’s problems was death in the name of Allah—but Christianity is a whole new hope for life.
But many around me here in Dubai, and on the internet, seem to be advocating death over life being the right way for me. From many others, even Christians, I seem to be getting the message that, until you’re persecuted and officially dead, you’re not a real Christian. Many around me would prefer to see me die in the name of Christ, than get freedom and live a life that I want to live.
This sounds all too familiar to me. When I decided to convert to Christianity, honestly, it wasn’t the persecution that I was so fond of, but the hope of life both here and the world hereafter. Death for religion and god is offered as the right path on every single page of Islamic literature. If that’s what I really wanted, I’d either be fighting somewhere in Kashmir or Afghanistan or Iraq right now, or long since dead. But instead I choose life—if that’s sinful of me, so be it. I’m not one of those people who believe that one cannot be a Christian without being physically persecuted.
Many have told me that I should speak up here—I should talk to my family and other people around me about Christianity in general and my conversion in particular and if I face persecution and, eventually, death, the good news is that I will be with Christ in heaven. Some have even told me that they dreamed that that was my destiny. I think no one has a right to make decisions about my life but myself—even God let me have that right and didn’t give it to anyone else. No one and I mean NO ONE is in the position to tell me to die or give up my life because it’s not something they own.
I realize that I won’t live forever, and I don’t want to either. But I also realize that I will never again come to this world—that I won’t ever be able to long for going to church like I do today and if/when I am able to do that, never will I feel that joy after I am dead.
I can die of some disease tomorrow, who knows—but I won’t regret that. What I will regret, though, is throwing my life away knowing that I could’ve lived for another day and given this life a chance—a chance to LIVE for Christ.

From the 910 group. (HT Steve Harkonnen)
Dear 910 Group Activist,
We are asking for your help. Please send either the email text provided below, or your rewrite of it, to your Congressman and Senator, and if possible also mail a print copy to them. Below is text for an email and letter campaign protesting the Council on American-Islamic Relation (CAIR) attack against Representative Virgil Goode (R-VA), for his legitimate criticisms of Representative–elect Keith Ellison’s (D-MN) plan to use a Koran for his swearing-in. You can change this text as you see fit, and your letter should be sent from you personally, not from the “910 Group.”
Please send this letter to your Congressional Representatives and Senators by email. Just cut and paste the text into your own email, rewrite it if you want, and then copy the contact information for your Congressman and Senators into the “to” line.
For contact info for your representatives, go here: http://www.congress.org/congressorg/officials/congress and enter your zip code or address.
To send a copy of your email to your local media, as well as national media, go here: http://www.congress.org/congressorg/dbq/media and enter your zip code.
To send a copy of your email to the Republican National HQ, asking them to stand by Goode, go here: http://www.gop.com/ContactUs/
A warning: Congress now blocks many emails, so to be effective, you should also send your letter by regular postal mail (snailmail). Remember to include in both the email and letter the information that you are a constituent, the city where you live, that you vote, any relevant organizational or interest group affiliations, and whether you are an employer in the state.
Thanks for your help in this urgent matter.
The 910 Group Directors
In the last twenty-four hours, U.S Representative Virgil H. Goode Jr. (R-VA) has been subjected to an unfair and biased persecution, orchestrated by the extremist, Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), for positions that he expressed in a recent letter to his constituents. In this letter, Rep. Goode wrote with concern over Muslim immigration into the United States , and criticized the decision of Representative-elect Keith Ellison to use the Koran at his swearing-in ceremony. Rep. Goode has also received several threatening phone calls according to the Franklin County Sheriff - simply for writing a letter to his constituents.
Enough is enough. I am writing to ask for your support for Rep. Goode. The symbolism of using the Koran at a ceremony where Mr. Ellison will swear to uphold and protect the Constitution of the United States should raise questions about the obvious conflict of interest that Mr. Ellison must have in fulfilling such an oath. We need to stand firm against pressure from extremist Islamist advocacy groups, and from their appeasers in the media and in our Congress.
Rep. Goode of course supports the right of any American to practice his or her religion, no matter what it is. So do I, and I know you do also. But he doesn’t support the right to practice a dangerous political ideology, in the form of Radical Islam, which is masquerading as a religion.
Radical Islam is a political ideology, like communism or fascism, that threatens most Muslims and all non-Muslims worldwide. People of all other religions, including freedom-loving Muslims and atheists, are in its gunsights. All races are its victims, and people all over the world are being blown up, beheaded, tortured, and intimidated by those who act in the name of this bullying political ideology.
When Rep. Goode and our other elected representatives put their hands on the Bible to swear an oath, they are simply asking God to be their witness. They are not citing Christian or Jewish or other religious authority to justify or require any particular legislative action.
But a Muslim’s holy book requires him to wage jihad and create certain political – not religious – institutions such as sharia law, which are in direct opposition to American values and the American Constitution. The Koran, which to Muslims is the word of God, compels believers to install by any means the legal and political system of sharia in all human societies. It regards the land as belonging only to Allah and commands believers to return it to the community of Islam from the occupying non-believers. The literal application of teachings in the Koran would compel our society to live under these harsh strictures of sharia law, the legal code prescribed by the Koran, which denies basic rights to women, prescribes death to Islam’s apostates, and forbids or subjugates other religions.
This political ideology of Radical Islam is a clear and present danger in this country and throughout the civilized world. America ’s traditions of open-handedness and religious tolerance have been used against us. If we do not take a stance against this political ideology, and its apologists like CAIR, someday the tradition of American tolerance will no longer exist.
For this reason we ask you to support Rep. Goode in his concern that the Koran demands loyalties that directly counter our Constitutional liberties. We ask that you call on all Muslims in America to repudiate publicly the Islamic scriptures and traditions which sanction conquest by violence, oppression, and religious intolerance.
We live in a dangerous world, one in which deceit and disinformation are being used against us by an implacable enemy. Self-appointed spokesmen such as CAIR pretend to represent Muslim Americans but in fact represent nothing more than the interests of their fundamentalist millionaire backers. It is no longer enough to take their word that they and their co-religionists mean the rest of us no harm. It is both reasonable and prudent to ask Muslims to demonstrate by both word and deed that they support the United States Constitution and the rule of law, even if it disagrees with their religion’s instructions. Especially if it disagrees with their religion’s instructions.
This is the line we are drawing. We need to know who is standing on our side of the line, and we welcome you, and people of all religions, including Islam, to stand with us.

U.S. SENATOR BARBARA BOXER GIVES AWARD TO CAIR EXTREMIST
AAH CALLS ON SENATOR BOXER TO WITHDRAW AWARD
(Coral Springs, FL) Americans Against Hate (AAH), a civil rights organization and terrorism watchdog group, is calling on United States Senator Barbara Boxer to rescind the award she has presented to the Executive Director of CAIR-Sacramento Basim Elkarra. The award, a certificate of achievement for "outstanding service," was given to Elkarra earlier this month.
As Executive Director, Basim Elkarra has defended someone that trained for jihad in a Pakistani terrorist camp; he has defended an imam that urged a Pakistani crowd to wage attacks on America; and he has defended an imam that was attempting to build an Islamic school for the purpose of teaching children how to commit violent acts against Americans. As well, Elkarra has described Israel as a "racist" and "apartheid" state, and he has moderated an event that featured a Hamas operative who spent five years in an Israeli prison and who is currently on trial in the U.S.
The organization Elkarra is affiliated with, CAIR, has a number of ties to Islamic extremism. Four officials from CAIR have been charged with terrorist activity, two convicted and two deported. CAIR is currently the defendant in a lawsuit put forward by the family of FBI Agent John O'Neill for the group's role in the 9/11 attacks. CAIR solicited funds for two "charities" whose accounts were frozen by the Department of Treasury for financing Hamas and Al-Qaeda. And CAIR's parent organization, the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), was shut down, shortly after it was found liable for the murder of an American boy during a Hamas attack. AAH Chairman and founder of CAIR Watch, Joe Kaufman, stated, "Both Elkarra and the organization he represents exhibit behavior that is unworthy of such an honor as Senator Boxer has bestowed. We therefore demand that Senator Boxer withdraw the award immediately."
Joe Kaufman is available for interview. E-mail: http://us.f905.mail.yahoo.com/ym/Compose?Tofirstname.lastname@example.org.
UPDATE: Good news! Sen Boxer has rescinded this award.

This blog is not going to be about all jihad, all the time. And so, a change of pace is in order, if but for today. Tomorrow, it will be back to the usual fare.
Ten years ago yesterday, one of my childhood idols died, killed by a rare disease, far too young. Astronomer and scientist Carl Sagan captivated me with his spellbinding Cosmos series when I was growing up, and I was hooked. I've read and/or bought every book that he's put into print. His views, to say the least, have had a profound influence on my personal world-view and what I hold to be important.
While I confess to not exactly seeing eye to eye with the man's politics, his overarching themes of rationalism, skeptical inquiry, and the need for reason to triumph over blind obediance are lessons that are timeless as they are critical to our future as a species.
Most important of Dr. Sagan's themes is this one, a choice for Humankind faces us, which is as simple as it is stark: spaceflight or extinction. Those are our choices. For humanity to survive in the medium to long term, we much reach out to other worlds, and then to the stars. Holding ourselves back, for whatever reason, whether it be ideological dogmatism (Islam, et al), or something as prosaic as timidity, laziness and procrastination in the face of the infinite, will doom our kind to fail and perish. We must not, cannot allow that to happen.
Words, however, as powerful and moving as they may be, can only take us so far in understanding our place in the cosmos. Dr. Sagan, a nonpareil communicator if there ever was one, understood this all too well. Sometimes, an illustration, or better yet, a simple photograph, is the preferable choice for conveying an important message.
On October 13, 1994, in the autumn of his life, Carl Sagan was delivering a public lecture at his own university of Cornell. During that lecture, he presented this photo:
The photo to the left was taken by Voyager 1 unmanned spacecraft in 1990 as it sailed away from Earth, more than 4 billion miles (6.5 billion km) away at that time. Having completed it primary mission, Voyager was and still is on its way out of the Solar System. Ground Control issued a command for the distant space craft to turn around and, looking back, take photos of each of the planets it had visited. From Voyager's vast distance, the Earth was captured as a infinitesimal point of light (between the two white tick marks), actually smaller than a single pixel of the photo.
The image was taken with Voyager's narrow angle camera lens, with the Sun quite close to the field of view. Quite by accident, the Earth was captured in one of the scattered light rays caused by taking the image at an angle so close to the Sun. Dr. Sagan was quite moved by this image of our tiny world. Here is a memorable excerpt from the late Dr. Sagan's talk:
"We succeeded in taking that picture [from deep space], and, if you look at it, you see a dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever lived, lived out their lives. The aggregate of all our joys and sufferings, thousands of confident religions, ideologies and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilizations, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every hopeful child, every mother and father, every inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every superstar, every supreme leader, every saint and sinner in the history of our species, lived there on a mote of dust, suspended in a sunbeam.
The earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that in glory and in triumph they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of the dot on scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner of the dot. How frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds. Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the universe, are challenged by this point of pale light. Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity -- in all this vastness -- there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves. It is up to us.
It's been said that astronomy is a humbling, and I might add, a character-building experience. To my mind, there is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly and compassionately with one another and to preserve and cherish that pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known."

Looking for some meaty reading this holiday season? Need some more ammo to take down the dhimmiwits, 'progressives', leftists and other fifth columnists that you will inevitably run into at the next Christmas party?
You're in luck; the PI team has a great read for you. It's a column called 'Islam on Trial: The Prosecution’s Case against Islam'. The author's name is Amber Pawlik.
A few months ago, I researched and wrote a piece that was superficially along the same lines. Namely, that Islam should be put on trial for numerous crimes and charges. Well, Ms. Pawlik tackles this same theme from a different angle, and does it in a much more effective, nay, devastating way. Amber shows everyone just how pathetic, violent and hateful the Islamic 'faith' is. Her research, particularly of the Koran, is thorough as it is damning.
If I were the jury, based on this case, I'd convict.
Furthermore, I'm impressed enough with the caliber of thisis counter-jihad work to place it permanently in the PI sidebar as one of our references on the Enemy.
Amber's column is too long to put here, but I'm urging you to read it. Do yourself a favor this Christmas, and read Amber's carefully researched and thought-out work.
Enjoy your reading...Happy Chanukah and Merry Christmas.

This excellent editorial from an American university (Wayne State University) asks, as its title, "(Is) Iran today's Nazi state?" The essay then goes on to answer this question all too well in no uncertain terms.
It's heartening to see these sorts of counter-leftist thoughts being so openly displayed in a usual bastion of leftist thought, namely an American institution of 'higher learning'.
Opinion: Iran: Today’s Nazi State?
Students for Israel
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad met with Hamas Authority leader Ismail Haniyeh on Dec. 1, according to the Israeli news source Arutz Sheva. The topics the men discussed included the “illegitimacy” of the “Zionist regime” that is the state of Israel, and the Palestinian people’s determination to continue vicious acts against Israeli civilians if their hopes for a “liberated” Jerusalem were ever to be realized.
Ahmadinejad and those he met with agreed that Israel was an “arrogant state” designed to “penetrate the heart of Muslim land.” He also mentioned that “the Palestinian nation and Muslims as a whole will emerge victorious” — supposedly referring to the current conflict in the Middle East. However, his remarks might also be interpreted as a reference to worldwide domination.
Perhaps you have heard of Ahmadinejad before. After all, this man has been in the news quite a bit lately. He has recently boasted of Iran’s newly launched nuclear program, has denied the occurrence of the Holocaust, and has made public his wishes to destroy Israel by “wiping it off the map.”
This man’s desire to annihilate a Jewish nation, his encouragement of violent behavior, and his hints at expanding the Iranian regime into more and more territory leaves me asking an important question: doesn’t this man remind you of Adolf Hitler?
The similarities between Ahmadinejad and the Fuehrer are striking. Ahmadinejad loathes the Jews, just as Hitler did. Ahmadinejad is trying to gain more and more land, just as Hitler did. Ahmadinejad is preparing a dangerous, threatening military arsenal, just as Hitler did. When comparing the two men side by side, it is quite easy to see how both Hitler and Ahmadinejad are evil incarnate.
Most frightening, however, is that while Ahmadinejad is doing all these things, the citizens of the world sit by and watch, without uttering a single word of protest. It is an eerie reminder of what happened in the 1930s, when people said to themselves, “Oh, Hitler? What can he do that will even affect us?” The most striking example of this attitude was when then Prime Minister of England Neville Chamberlain chose to appease Adolf Hitler by allowing him to enter Czechoslovakia.
We all know that this was a crucial step in Hitler’s plan to crush the opposition. Once he had the approval of other nations, he could conquer lands that were not his. In order to accomplish this, he trained soldiers to be cruel and ruthless. Most notably, he systematically murdered over 10 million people — 6 million of which were Jewish.
Sixty years later, Ahmadinejad wants to recreate this nightmare — on a nuclear scale. Let me ask a few key questions.
Why is it that the only state Ahmadinejad wants destroyed is the state of Israel? Do people really think it is just a coincidence that the same man who denies the Holocaust wants an end to the only Jewish state in existence?
Why is it that Iran has refused to back down with regard to its threatening nuclear programs? Do people really think it is just a coincidence that the same man who supports Palestinian violence supports a potentially catastrophic nuclear weapons program?
Finally, why is it that most Americans ignore Iran? Do people really think it is just a coincidence that the same man who has been consistently aggressive is promising worldwide Islamofascist domination?
The answer to these questions, I believe, is that we would like to act like Neville Chamberlain. Oftentimes, we feel that the way to avoid catastrophe is to let “the bad guys” have what they want — just once. This sort of appeasement can be highly tempting, as I am sure it was to Chamberlain.
Look where his actions led, though. Think about the millions of deaths. Think about the soldiers marching. Think about the buildings aflame. Is this what we want to happen – again?
We cannot be like Chamberlain. We must crush evil wherever it rears its ugly head, and that includes Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. We must not give him an inch. If we do, our own kind will suffer the horrible consequences.
One might think that facism is dead today, but we have been proven wrong time and again by Ahmadinejad and those student groups who support his viewpoints. Now I am asking you to do something about it. Write to your elected representatives. Hold rallies. Do something — anything — to help stop this evil man and his supporters from perpetrating yet another Holocaust, yet another World War, yet another tragedy.

This piece is from Riber Hansson, of Stockholm Sweden. He is an editorial freelancing cartoonist and illustrator for several Swedish daily newspapers.
I was a bit surprised when I first saw this cartoon and where it originated from. Is it finally coming to pass, that (some of) the Dhimmis of al-Skandia (Scandanavia) are beginning to notice the darkness emanating from Iran?
Those Swedes, considering their history of collaborating with the Third Reich, they should know a thing or two about Nazis.

Have you heard? Reid, England's Michael Chertoff, has just given up. Terror attacks are just the way it's going to be. And in the Netherlands, they are in a panic about how radicalized the 'youth' have become. Oh and those converts - becoming a problem, especially the women. Eurabia rises from the bloody cesspool. No one knows what to do. To even think the thought that Islam should be banned, why it's unthinkable. Isn't it so obvious. They just don't know what to do. Just cannot figure it out. That is what political correctness has done to the West. Wake up America, you are next!
Oh and all those 'youths' in the Netherlands. I believe Rotterdam will be majority Muslim far sooner than the optimistic 2020 date I see bandied about. It is already a majority in the maternity ward.
Isn't it ironic! Amsterdam, swinger's paradise, pot haven, secular madness, altruism in action, now they are being consumed by a religion, but a very different religion. A cult perfected. All those 'mechanics' of a cult to keep the ball rolling, justifying violence against criticism, or heaven forbid, those who choose to abandon the crap. All approved by Allah. Who is by the way our God, it's all in the books, those vile, hateful evil books, the Qu'ran, a rambling mess of hate, and those Hadiths - 'let me help you get the gist of the Quran', and the Surah Biography of Mo - 'look what I can do!'
It's infuriating watching the ignorance, fighting the ignorance.
There's always tomorrow, they say. You see Europe collapsing, the first Muslim in Congress. It is just shocking. Isn't it lemmings that walk in mass off a cliff? Sounds like Europe, no change that, the 'West' is a leaping. We dare not say it. Islam should be banned. Can't say it! Don't you dare!
You had better wake up America! You cannot win if you do not face the enemy and spit in his face. And that face is Islam.
While trying to escape through Pakistan, Osama Bin Laden found a bottle in the desert sands and picked it up.
Suddenly, a female genie rose from the bottle, and with a smile said “Master, may I grant you one wish?"
"You ignorant unworthy daughter-of-a-dog! Don't you know who I am? I don't need any common woman giving me anything" barked Bin Laden.
The shocked genie said, "Please, I must grant you a wish or I will be returned to that bottle forever."
Osama thought a moment. Then he grumbled about the impertinence of the woman, and said, "Very well, I want to awaken with three American women in my bed in the morning, so just do it and be off with you!"
The annoyed genie said, So be it!" and disappeared.
The next morning Bin Laden woke up in bed with Lorena Bobbitt, Tonya Harding and Hillary Clinton.
His penis was gone, his knees were broken, and he had no health insurance.
Happy Islamic Friday to the readers of PI. All two of them.

THIS CHANUKAH WE MUST CONFRONT THE HOLOCAUST DENIERS IN TEHRAN (hat tip, EuroKafir)
Excerpts From Survivor Testimony "WITNESS TO THE TRUTH" Conference:
Toronto: "To those who deny the Holocaust ever happened I would like them to personally explain to me what happened to my 6-year old brother, who was murdered in Auschwitz, to my 33-year old mother, my 36-year old father and to the one and a half million children who did not survive the Holocaust!"
--Sally Wasserman, survived Dobrowa Ghetto, Poland; 8 year-old orphan when liberated
New York: "The philosopher Edmund Burke said, 'For evil to triumph, good men have to do nothing.' I kept my silence until 10 years ago when a Holocaust denier came to Queens College where I work, to talk about whether the Holocaust took place...[Today] if this monster in human form [Ahmadinejad] manages to convince people that the Holocaust didn't take place, future generations will pay for it."
--Karl Schapiro, survivor hidden under floorboards in barn in Poland
Los Angeles: "It's important that people hear our cries and see our tears-that they know. They took everything away from me but I will not allow them to take my memory and my soul."
--Eva Brown, survivor Auschwitz, Plaszow Camps; who lost 60 members of her family December 13, 2006
On 11 December 2006, fifty Survivors gathered in New York, Toronto and Los Angeles to chronicle their experiences during the Holocaust for an historic video conference, "Witness to the Truth," which was widely covered by the international media.
None of the Survivors could believe that 65 years after Auschwitz they were forced to assemble to confront Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who held a two-day conference in Tehran, for the purpose of denying the Holocaust.
With palpable anguish and disbelief, these Survivors, now in the last years of their lives, were forced again to validate their experiences. But there was no alternative -- they had to retell their accounts in order to refute the President of Iran, an individual who wants to obliterate Israel, who has called the Holocaust "a myth" and who is on the verge of acquiring nuclear weapons.
We are about to celebrate Chanukah, a festival commemorating a time when Light extinguished Darkness. We must do the same in our time. We must confront the darkness that now emanates from Iran.
The Simon Wiesenthal Center is producing an important DVD, "Witness to the Truth" in order to share the courage and tenacity of these fifty Survivors, who each told their stories in 5 minutes, with schools and universities in North America and abroad.
It is vital for the younger generation to hear the words of these Survivors so that they can be empowered to stand up to the deniers of the Holocaust. Please partner with us and contribute generously and help us to produce the "Witness to the Truth" DVD. We're counting on your support.
Happy Chanukah to you and your family.

Boy, that CAIR has some cajones. Now they are urging Muslims flying to Mecca to harrass airlines when they fly to Mecca. Civil rights you know. Muslims are special and require white glove treatment because they are better than the najis kafir. CAIR believes American infidels and corporations are scared of Muslims and will grovel at their feet and beg them not to kill us or sue us. JihadWatch points out the hyprocrisy - infidels can't go to Mecca - we're najis, but those same infidels had better not show the slightest indifference to the special position in our society the peaceful Muslim demands.
CAIR urges Muslims making pilgrimage to Mecca to file civil rights complaints against airlines
Gates of Vienna has concisely summed up the upshot of the Dem’s electoral victory last month, and the recent Iraq Surrender Group report.
Namely, we of the counter jihad are on our own. Government is not going to help us, not any time soon. And what about the private sector? The media, academia, major corporations, most charitable organizations, are in the hands of the uncaring, the dhimmis, or the Treasonist Left. To put it mildly, these people are not our friends, and they will not help us either.
If anyone will wage the counter jihad, it will be ourselves, as individuals, and no one else.
This is not a time for talking. This is a time for action, and no one is going to act on our behalf. With this salient point in mind, I humbly offer some steps you can undertake right now (hat tip to the commenters at GoV):
- Stop biting your tongue when a friend, family member or colleague starts spouting PC platitudes. Don't be afraid of speaking your mind with composure and firmness. Don't improvise--be articulate and speak from reason, but with emotion.
- Contribute your money or time (preferably both) to the few counterjihad organizations that are already out there. Anti-CAIR and Jihadwatch are good places to start.
- Seek like-minded individuals in your area or neighborhood, and join forces with them.
- Stop supporting establishments that are sympathetic to Islamist extremism (there's a redundancy right there). If you already have, start actively boycotting them and making their lives difficult--all within the laws of civility, of course.
- Conserve gasoline and energy as much as possible. Most fossil fuel energy production is in the hands of our enemies or their allies (Venezuela, Russia, and the entire Middle East). Remember, oil fuels terrorism and Jihad.
- If you do not have any involvement with public or semi-public institutions (schools, city councils, hospital boards, etc.), become involved and speak up. Better yet, get your friends to do so as well.
- Go to the public planning meetings, whenever an Islamic project is the topic, that these projects must go through. Take your like-minded friends to these meetings, and vociferously protest.
- Are you an attorney, or do you know one? Take school boards to court if they capitulate to Muslim pressure. Bog down every application to build mosques, ‘Islamic Centers’, madrassas, etc in the courts.
- Don't employ or work for Muslims, sell or rent property to them.
- Refuse to engage in converstion with any person in Muslim attire, such as a veil, headscarf or hijab.
- Be as hostile as it's possible to be (while staying within the law) to any Muslims or Muslim organizations.
- Boycott any company that caves in to pressure from Muslim groups for any reason whatsoever. And publicize the boycott.
- Improve your marksmanship and weapons-handling skills.
- Report any suspicious activities or behavior to the police immediately, especially if it involves Muslims.
- Be vigilant, protect your family and never think "it won't happen here/it won't happen to me."
I am not advocating anyone to break the law, but there is much free citizens can do, right now, to fight for our civilization and against Islam. There is no more time to waste.

A few words for Avenging Apostate, from Lino in Germany (found in the PI inbox this morning).
"He that loveth ME, he will keep MY WORDS:And MY FATHER will love HIM, and WE will come unto HIM, and make our abode with HIM."St. John 14.24.
"I will ask the FATHER, and HE will give you another HELPER, that HE may be with you forever; that is the SPIRIT OF TRUTH, WHOM the world cannot receive, because it does not see HIM or know HIM, but you know HIM because HE abides with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." St. John 14:18.

This is not a good time for those of us in the counterjihad. If it's not the 'Iraq Surrender Group' being the present-day darlings of the media, it's the Dems meeting up with their allies Hamas (perhaps to swap ideas and tactics, perchance?) Or Hez's ongoing coup attempt in Lebanon, spineless allies overseas, traitors at home, Iran's unstoppable nuclear weapons program...the list is lengthy and none too encouraging, to say the least.
Well, I know about all this, but I refuse to give in to pessimism, or to despair. Counterjihad is the dream that must not and will not die. The dream to live free exists within all of us, even in the brainwashed Muslim masses that march so swiftly (knowingly or otherwise) to their deaths.
Indeed, Islam and jihad is the slavery that will chain the species Homo Sapiens to this planetary speck forever, and doom us to eventual extinction. Only true freedom can give humanity and civilization survival and let us soar to other world, and someday, the stars. These basic truths cannot be denied.
No system of mind and information control is perfect, not even the tyranny of Mohammed.
So, I stay hopeful, no matter how dark our future may seem. And sometimes, I even find other reasons out there to remain optimistic.

Just in case you forgot what happened today 65 years ago. At least that generation, decades ago, had the right idea in mind. No defeatism, no suicidal 'understand and negotiate' with our enemies, no 'how did we bring this on ourselves' crap. Just defeat our enemies, get the job done.
Now, where can I get my 'Avenge 9-11' poster? Oh yeah, that's right. This isn't 1941.

After my recent post on banned books in Malaysia, and seeing the comments that piece generated, I investigated further and snooped around some more bookstore in the Kuala Lumpur area. Turns out what may be a 'banned' book at one store may be freely available at another. I found several titles that were 'banned' at Borders freely available at Kinokuniya, another big bookseller in the downtown KL area.
And if that isn't confusing enough, every Malaysian state has their own banned lists. Books banned in one state may be found in other states. And since Malaysia states are small by American standards, one never has to go far to see if what's forbidden in, say, Johor is available in Selangor.
I have found another listing of banned book titles that is the most comprehensive that I've seen so far. This listing is also now posted in our Malaysian section in the sidebar.
Bottom line, I'll say what few if any Malaysians dare say: censorship sucks, and it's wrong. Period.

Hardliners turn on Ahmadinejad for watching women dancers
Robert Tait in Tehran
Tuesday December 5, 2006
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran, who flaunts his ideological fervour, has been accused of undermining Iran's Islamic revolution after television footage appeared to show him watching a female song and dance show.
The famously austere Mr Ahmadinejad has been criticised by his own allies after attending the lavish opening ceremony of the Asian games in Qatar, a sporting competition involving 13,000 athletes from 39 countries. The ceremony featured Indian and Egyptian dancers and female vocalists. Many were not wearing veils.
Women are forbidden to sing and dance before a male audience under Iran's Islamic legal code. Officials are expected to excuse themselves from such engagements when abroad but TV pictures showed Mr Ahmadinejad sitting with President Bashar Assad of Syria and Ismail Haniya, the Palestinian prime minister, during last Friday's ceremony in Doha.
Religious fundamentalists, usually Mr Ahmadinejad's keenest supporters, are asking why he attended a ceremony that violated his own government's strict interpretation of Shia Islam.
The Baztab website, considered close to Mohsen Rezaee, a former revolutionary guard commander with links to powerful sections of Iran's political hierarchy, said Mr Ahmadinejad's presence had offended Shias in Iran and elsewhere (Man, these people are always offended, especially by infidels.). "The failure of Ahmadinejad to object and his constant presence has damaged the image of Iran's Islamic revolution and its commitment to Islamic rules in contrast with the Arab countries in the Gulf," it said.
The president's aides insist he was not present during the singing and dancing. His press secretary, Ali Akbar Javanfekr, claimed Mr Ahmadinejad had left for Doha airport before the performance.
However, Baztab posted footage which purported to show Mr Ahmadinejad in his seat after the show. Jalal Yahyazadeh, a rightwing MP, said: "We have heard from some sources that Ahmadinejad was in the stadium at the time. Those who created the conditions for his presence should be investigated as quickly as possible."
PI is stepping up our game to support the Counter Jihad. We are now helping to raise money to support Robert Spencer's website Jihad Watch.
Just click on our new graphic in our sidebar, the one near the top that reads "DEFEAT JIHAD". Clicking on this graphic will take you to a site that sells bumper stickers and t-shirts, whose proceeds go to support Mr. Spencer's website. If there ever was a cause worth support, this is one.
So, are you an infidel itching to irk the lefties, 'progressives' and other jihadis in your neighborhood? Counter-jihad stuff is now availble! And just in time for Christmas! Buy your Jihad Watch merchandise for not just for your entire family, but for all your friends too! Great stocking stuffers!

PI is proud to add three additional organizations to our counter-jihad lineup.
The first group is the brainchild of the incredibly brave and passionate Brigitte Gabriel (in photo to the left). She is an infidel from Lebanon who grew up in close proximity to Islamic thugs (Hez and the like) who tried to kill her and her family on more than one occasion. Ms. Gabriel has since emigrated to the US, became a citizen of a free country, and now dedicates her time raising awareness of the Islamic threat to our way of life.
Ms. Gabriel has a must-read book, 'Because They Hate' (banned in Malaysia). If you're in Dar-al-Harb, buy the book here. Ms. Gabriel also has a number of videos available (as of today) on YouTube that show some of this remarkable woman's speeches. Have a look at these videos if you can, before our enemies have them yanked down.
Here's Ms. Gabriel's website, American Congress for Truth. Do take a look.
Our second addition to the counter-jihadist groups is Anti-Jihad International, a group I first learned about in a recent email exchange with Steve "Don't Tread On Me" Harkonnen. This is the group that originated the handy Islamic-crescent-with-a-slash-through-it symbol, and is the symbol I stole, er, borrowed some time ago for my own blogger persona. Thanks again, Steve.
The third group is 'The 910 Group'--as in 9-10-2001, the last day that we could have stopped the Islamic atrocity that was about to come to fruition, if we had but known. This group also has a blog thats worth a few minutes of eyeball time.
This is an exciting time, as the forces of the Counter-Jihad are even now marshalling and gathering strength. Courage, friends!

Signage like this is commonplace in Malaysian shopping malls. In fact, I took this photo in a major local mall today.
Question is, not if, but when will similiar signs make their appearance in American malls? Is it already happening now, perhaps?

What an embarassment for England. Mufti Charles is off again to another of his Muslim nations visiting his Muslim brothers. Check out those photos of the Nigerian Emir's court, even has a jester! Hey don't those black Muslims look a lot like the mujahadeen in Sudan, the only difference is they have a stick instead of sword, and are chopping balls. And those captions, why, the writer is positively giddy.

Downtown Kuala Lumpur features what is billed as the world's largest Borders bookstore. This store has quite a nifty selection of titles...but remember, this is Malaysia, which is not a free country. Even the world's supposedly largest Borders has numerous titles that are, shall we say, 'not available'. Censorship is official state policy in Malaysia. Even the list of Officially Banned Books is not publically available.
Recently, I was able to obtain a partial copy of the list of books that are banned in Malaysia (never mind how). Mostly, the list has titles that expose the rotting cesspool that is Islam. It makes for interesting and sobering reading, seeing what the Islamic-Malaysian government is afraid of.

Prophet of Doom has one of the best analysis of the Quran on the web. It has been a while since I studied the Quran and its context. Without context, the Quran is just a rambling rant of an evil monster. I was reading Chapter 7 The Elevated Places and POD's analysis. I was struck by this final statement by POD -
But he was right in a way. When the Bible spoke of Satan, it said that he would use prostration, taxation, terror, a new gospel, and a boastful false prophet to deceive mankind.
Isn't that amazing. Islam is Satan's grand plan. Mohamed is Satan pretending to be a prophet of God fighting Satan, creating a new gospel where evil is righteous. Even if you are secular and indifferent to religion in general, it is more than coincidence. If you really don't believe in religion, can you dismiss this in its entirety without a lingering doubt? The only thing left out is the 'parade of fools' among the infidels who simply will not and cannot admit the evil that Islam is and recognize its threat to our very existence. All non-Muslims must join forces to fight Islam. Even if you are a solid atheist, your life and your freedom are in danger.

Surprise, it's another Muslim 'ally', a supposed 'friend' of the west and (at best) a nominal ally in the "War on Terror", that is in reality very hostile to Enlightenment Values. Imagine that, a Muslim country that's more loyal to Seventh Century (i.e. Islamic) values than to Kafir ones.
Today's sham ally is Yemen (yes, the same country that brought the world the attack on the USS Cole, and the bin Laden family hails from this despicable place). Here's what these bastards have been up to lately:
Yemeni journalist imprisoned for defaming Islam
A Yemeni newspaper editor has begun serving a year in prison for reprinting the Danish cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad.Kamal al-Aalafi, the editor, said the verdict “takes Yemen back to totalitarian rule, contradicts freedom of expression, and represents a real violation of democracy and freedom of the press,” he told reporters.
The court that handed down the sentence also ordered the closure for six months of al-Aalafi’s Al-Ra’i al-Am independent weekly and forbade the editor from writing for the same period.
Al-Aalafi was transferred to prison immediately after sentencing – to the shock of fellow journalists and human rights activists who attended the court session.
At least 100 journalists in Yemen have faced various forms of harassment over the past year, ranging from beatings and arrests to kidnappings and a letter-bombing that wounded a newspaper editor...
With 'friends' like Yemen, who needs enemies?
Today I found this open letter, which discusses the urgent need for the creation of an anti-islamofascism movement. This is long, long overdue. I hope it is not too late. Read the memo, spread the word, and see if you can help.

As I had long feared, Olmert has officially raised the white flag on Corporal Shalit's kidnapping. Apparently, even living in close proximity to barbarians dedicated to your destruction is not enough to prevent suicidal self-delusion like this:
Israel Ready To Swap Palestinian Prisoners For Gilad Shalit
(RTTNews) - Amidst the uneasy day-old Gaza truce, the Israeli PrimeMinister Ehud Olmert has said that Israel was prepared to release manyPalestinian prisoners, including long-serving inmates, in return for Gilad Shalit, a soldier Palestinian militants abducted last June.
Olmert said he was reaching out to the Palestinians for peace, offeringa series of humanitarian and economic incentives if violence against Israel ceased. However he conditioned any resumption of peace talks on the soldier's release and acceptance by any future Palestinian unitygovernment of an international demand to renounce violence, recognize Israel and accept existing interim peace accords.
"With Gilad Shalit's release and his safe return to his family, theIsraeli government will be willing to release many Palestinian prisoners, even those who have been sentenced to lengthy terms,'' Olmertsaid.
It was the first time that Olmert had specially spoken of exchanging prisoners for Shalit, whose capture in a cross-border raid byPalestinian militants triggered a five month old Israeli offensive into the Gaza Strip.
Olmert was speaking a day after a truce took effect in Gaza, aimed atending Israeli offensive, ending rocket fire into Israel by Palestinianmilitants and as a step to reviving peace talks that collapsed in 2000 before the start of a Palestinian uprising.

I'm curious as to what our readers, the few of you out there, have to say about this website:
Arabs for Israel
Is this site genuine? Is this taqiyya? Can a Muslim still be a Muslim and recognize and respect the "Zionist entity'? Or does this make the Muslim an automatic apostate and traitor?

Here's an insightful column from an Aussie journalist, who is smart enough to see past the Malaysian propaganda that all is not well in the Melayu Islamic State. The only real question, one not specifically addressed by this piece is this--is Islam a contributing factor to the Malaysian meltdown?
Read and draw your own conclusions.
While Malaysia fiddles, its opportunities are running dry
MALAYSIA'S been at it again, arguing about what proportion of the economy each of its two main races — the Malays and the Chinese — owns. It's an argument that's been running for 40 years. That wealth and race are not synonymous is important for national cohesion, but really it's time Malaysia grew up.
It's a tough world out there and there can be little sympathy for a country that prefers to argue about how to divide wealth rather than get on with the job of creating it.
The long-held aim is for 30 per cent of corporate equity to be in Malay hands, but the figure that the Government uses to justify handing over huge swathes of public companies to Malays but not to other races is absurd. It bases its figure on equity valued, not at market value, but at par value.
Many shares have a par value of say $1 but a market value of $12. And so the Government figure (18.9 per cent is the most recent figure) is a gross underestimate. Last month a paper by a researcher at a local think-tank came up with a figure of 45 per cent based on actual stock prices. All hell broke loose. The paper was withdrawn and the researcher resigned in protest. Part of the problem is that he is Chinese.
"Malaysia boleh!" is Malaysia's national catch cry. It translates to "Malaysia can!" and Malaysia certainly can. Few countries are as good at wasting money. It is richly endowed with natural resources and the national obsession seems to be to extract these, sell them off and then collectively spray the proceeds up against the wall.
This all happens in the context of Malaysia's grossly inflated sense of its place in the world. Most Malaysians are convinced that the eyes of the world are on their country and that their leaders are world figures. This is thanks to Malaysia's tame media and the bravado of former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad. The truth is, few people on the streets of London or New York could point to Malaysia on a map much less name its prime minister or capital city.
As if to make this point, a recent episode of The Simpsons features a newsreader trying to announce that a tidal wave had hit some place called Kuala Lumpur. He couldn't pronounce the city's name and so made up one, as if no-one cared anyway. But the joke was on the script writers — Kuala Lumpur is inland.
Petronas, the national oil company is well run, particularly when compared to the disaster that passes for a national oil company in neighbouring Indonesia. But in some respects, this is Malaysia's problem. The very success of Petronas means that it is used to underwrite all manner of excess.
The KLCC development in central Kuala Lumpur is an example. It includes the Twin Towers, the tallest buildings in the world when they were built, which was their point.
It certainly wasn't that there was an office shortage in Kuala Lumpur — there wasn't.
Malaysians are very proud of these towers. Goodness knows why. They had little to do with them. The money for them came out of the ground and the engineering was contracted out to South Korean companies. They don't even run the shopping centre that's beneath them. That's handled by Australia's Westfield.
Next year, a Malaysian astronaut will go into space aboard a Russian rocket — the first Malay in space. And the cost? $RM95 million ($A34.3 million), to be footed by Malaysian taxpayers. The Science and Technology Minister has said that a moon landing in 2020 is the next target, aboard a US flight. There's no indication of what the Americans will charge for this, assuming there's even a chance that they will consider it. But what is Malaysia getting by using the space programs of others as a taxi service? There are no obvious technical benefits, but no doubt Malaysians will be told once again, that they are "boleh". The trouble is, they're not. It's not their space program.
Back in July, the Government announced that it would spend $RM490 million on a sports complex near the London Olympics site so that Malaysian athletes can train there and "get used to cold weather".But the summer Olympics are held in the summer. So what is the complex's real purpose? The dozens of goodwill missions by ministers and bureaucrats to London to check on the centre's construction and then on the athletes while they train might provide a clue.
Bank bale outs, a formula one racing track, an entire new capital city — Petronas has paid for them all. It's been an orgy of nonsense that Malaysia can ill afford. Why? Because Malaysia's oil will run out in about 19 years. As it is, Malaysia will become a net oil importer in 2011 — that's just five years away.
So it's in this context that the latest debate about race and wealth is so sad.
It is time to move on, time to prepare the economy for life after oil. But, like Nero fiddling while Rome burned, the Malaysian Government is more interested in stunts like sending a Malaysian into space when Malaysia's inadequate schools could have done with the cash, and arguing about wealth distribution using transparently ridiculous statistics.
That's not Malaysia "boleh", that's Malaysia "bodoh" (stupid).

A Muslim woman here in the glorious Melayu Islamic Republic got caught spreading lies about a supposed mass conversion ceremony of Muslims becoming Christians. Allah forbid such horrors! Who would do such a thing? Everyone knows that such atrocities are illegal.
MALAYSIAN police said yesterday they have arrested a woman who had allegedly used SMS messages to spread false information about the baptism of Muslim Malays as Christians.
The mobile-phone text messages, allegedly originating from a person named Raja Sherina, sparked religious tension in Ipoh earlier this month. Some 1,000 Muslim Malays protested outside a Catholic church where the conversions were expected to take place. However, the crowd dispersed after learning that the ceremony was actually for about 100 ethnic Indian Catholics who were receiving their first Communion.
The case was the latest in a spate of recent incidents that have raised concerns about race relations in the country. Religious conversion is a thorny subject in majority-Muslim Malaysia, where Muslims are not allowed to convert. Proselytising of Muslims by other faiths is also prohibited.
There was also concern about the role in the case of the Perak Mufti (senior Islamic cleric), who owned up to being partly responsible for the spread of the SMS messages. He told the media that the woman, a graduate of the International Islamic University of Malaysia and the Al-Azhar University in Cairo, had conveyed information to him about the supposed baptism of Muslims at the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes in Silibin.

This post started as a comment to one ‘Anonymous’ on my recent post on Indonesia, who made the rather incredulous suggestion that the North Koreans either might be thinking about or be actually capable of intervening militarily in Southeast Asia, my neck of the globe. Excuse me, what did you say? The Norks are in no condition to be contemplating any major military adventures past their own borders, let alone here in SE Asia!
Quite simply, the Norks are short of everything to run a proper war--fuel, ammo, spare parts and even food for their soldiers. Training and leadership for their forces is likely as ossified and ineffective as the rest of their ruling regime. The DPRK military is only capable of getting a lot of people near (or in) their gulag criminal state killed.
The Norks know this and have admitted as much, by pouring so much of their meager resources into their nukes program. It's tacit admission to the whole world that Nork’s conventional forces—be it tanks, artillery, etc—just don’t cut it anymore. Lil’ Kim is laser-like focused on one thing and one thing only—the survival of his regime. Nukes can do precisely that—obsolete and ineffective conventional armies don’t.
Don’t get me wrong—Lil’ Kim can and certainly is capable of causing mischief in many corners of the world. Mischief like selling counterfeit US greenbacks, narcotics, and nuke and missile technologies. All available to anyone, no questions asked, on cash terms only. Mischief yes; serious military threat, no.
So, who would have the reason and the capability to militarily intervene in SE Asia, other than the US? Japan and Australia, certainly, but their forces are relatively small, both countries have ample political reason to avoid lengthy military entanglements in the area, and furthermore, both are close allies of the US. Then there's India, but India also is falling into the US club now, as the US and India increasingly need each other.
This leaves China, the ever-rising East Asian giant. China has two powerful reasons to be tempted into a sizable SE Asia military incursion. Number one is to secure access to natural resources. SE Asia's got ‘em, and China needs all manner of resources to continue their economic and industrial development. For now, they can peacefully obtain pretty much whatever they need. But what would China do in some future crisis, if this access was threatened or cut off altogether?
The second motivating factor for potential Chinese meddling in Southeast Asia would be the treatment/oppression of the Chinese minorities that already reside there. Malaysia and Indonesia, in particular, have important, well-connected and well-monied Chinese minority populations. Both groups have been the repeated and continued targets of bigotry, oppression, second-class treatment, and occasional wide-scale murder, all at the hands of the more numerous Muslim neighbors. Anti-Chinese violence is certainly nothing new to this part of the world—it happened in 1964 (Singapore), 1965 (Indonesia), 1969 (Malaysia), and 1998 (Indonesia). In fact, the Muslim watchword seems to be, “Always blame the Jews… but if they aren’t readily at hand, go after the Chinese instead.”
Then there’s China’s arms build-up to consider. China is spending and has been spending considerable sums to upgrade its armed forces in all areas. This includes more realistic and intensive training, serious ongoing efforts to increase the professionalism of its military cadres, as well as massive programs to acquire advanced weapons. Such changes, once implemented, could allow the PRC to possess, for the first time, military forces that can operate for sustained periods at great distances outside of their own borders. Taiwan is but a hop, skip and a jump off the PRC coastline. There is another purpose, in particular, for the precipitous buildup of China’s navy… and the reasons for that lie south.
But there’s more than just better hardware and military training to consider. Chinese education and government propaganda have, for decades, consistently stressed a high degree of patriotic feeling in the PRC, and the need for the PRC to secure its rightful place in the world as a major power. And China sees Southeast Asia as falling within its rightful sphere of influence. They always have.
So, when the next wave of anti-Chinese riots sweeps through Kuala Lumpur and/or Jakarta, will China merely stand idly by, confining its activities to holding press conferences in Beijing or issuing communiqués from the UN Security Council in New York? Or, will the PRC act and act decisively?
How can we expect a ruling Communist dictatorship to act in such a time of crisis, a government that is fixated, quite like the Bismarck’s Second Reich, on securing the ‘Middle Kingdom’s’ ‘place in the sun’? Bear in mind, of course, that China has a more, shall we say, strenuous attitude on how to deal with terrorists and troublemakers in general. Just ask the Muslims in western China.
I wonder, which of these scenarios would the Javanese Islamists prefer? Would they prefer to keep seeing the ‘evil’ George Bush’s hospital ships parked in Indonesian waters, dispensing free health care to the Muslim masses? Or would they rather witness an approaching heavily armed PRC task force, loaded to the gunwales with weapons and troops, coming to the rescue of their besieged fellow Chinese?
(Read my post from earlier this year to read more about China and their not-so-friendly ways)

US Decider-in-Chief George ‘Walter’ Bush is visiting “moderate” Indonesia, a land where seething Islamic idiocy is boiling just under the surface. And sometimes- more and more often it seems- that idiocy is on full-frontal mode.
Today’s reminder of the Indo-Islamic Insane Asylum was the usual and predictable cauldron of anti-American sentiment Bush had waiting for him:
…Bush drew a different reaction Sunday at his upcoming stop in Indonesia, where thousands angrily protested America's policy in the Middle East and wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
While President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is a close U.S. ally in the war on terror, Bush is highly unpopular in Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim nation.
Here’s something those ungrateful Indonesian bastards should try to keep in mind as they go stark raving mad (yet again) with Bush Derangement Syndrome…free medical care given to the masses of the poor in their miserable country, courtesy of the evil imperialist US military, to the tune of over $17 million this year alone:
Earlier this year, the (US Navy Hospital ship) Mercy spent six months in Indonesia, treating 61,000 patients. Most of the Indonesians received some medicine, or some dental work. But about two percent involved some surgery. As a result of the Mercy's visit, favorable attitudes towards the U.S. by Indonesians doubled (to 30 percent, so more work is needed.) The Indonesians were getting American quality medicine, which explains the average cost for treating each patient; $280.
61,000 Indonesians times $280 equals $17,080,000.
That’s right America…here are your tax dollars again at work, underwriting medical care for poor Muslims who still end up hating us. Now the Indonesian people, by these figures, are ‘only’ 70% anti-American. But if the US Government can’t scrape up enough resources to keep sending back the medics, the ‘disapproval rating’ is sure to creep up again.
Can you say ‘jizya’, folks?

Amil Imani is an Iranian-born American citizen and pro-democracy activist residing in the United States of America. He maintains a website at Amil Imani.
Here's a fine column Mr. Imani recently posted at FaithFreedom.org. (hat tip to the ubiquitous wits0)
Islam has spawned many sects that are master practitioners of the art of double standards. As far as Muslims are concerned what is good for Muslims is not good for the non-Muslims; and, what is bad for Muslims is good for non-Muslims.
What complicates matters is that there is no way of knowing which of the dozens of at-each-other’s-throat sects is the legitimate Islam. As sooner as Muhammad died his religion of peace became a house of internal war: jockeying for power and leadership started, sects formed and splintered into sub-sects, and bloodletting began in earnest.
The internal infighting in Islam is presently playing in full color—in red—most dramatically, in the Iraqi theater. Shiite raid Sunni civilians, slaughter them like sheep, and toss their bodies like trash in the streets or the rivers. The Sunnis return the favor with just as much viciousness and savagery.
Question: if this is the way these Muslims treat each other, how would they deal with the infidels, when they have the chance? Answer: these devoted followers of Muhammad would deal with the infidels exactly the way Muhammad did: behead the non-believers, take them as slave to hold or sell, or make them pay back-breaking jazyyeh—pole taxes.
Some may objects that writings like this are little more than hatemongering and fanning the fire that rages between Islam and the non-Islamic world. They may further flash the Islamic apologists’ few well-worn-out propaganda cards as evidence for their contention that Islam is not what its detractors claim.
Here are the few favorite cards:
* There is no compulsion in religion says the Quran—the full context is never shown.
* “Islam,” means “Peace,” so Islam is religion of peace.
* “For you, your religion, and for me, my religion,” Muhammad reportedly has said.
The Muslims and their apologists quickly run out of their few cards and the rest of the Islamic deck is all about intolerance, hatred, and violence toward the infidels and all others who are not true Muslims, even toward those who consider themselves as Muslims. Shiites, for instance, judge the Sunnis as traitors to Islam and Sunnis condemn the Shiites as heretics. Each side deems the other worthy of death and hellfire.
This internecine Islamic war of the religion of peace is not confined to the Shiite-Sunni divide. There are so many internal divisions within each side that listing and describing them comprehensively would be encyclopedic.
So, who is right? What are the facts about Islam and how does Islam impact the ever-shrinking village earth and its inhabitants? Admittedly, this is a huge question and cannot be answered satisfactorily in one article. However, some facts can be presented to help the reader decide.
There is no need to belabor the point that Islam is not and has never been a religion of peace. The word “Islam,” is derived from “taslim,” which means “submission,” while the term for “peace,” is “Solh.” Another derivation of the word “taslim,” is “salamat” which means “good health,” and so on.
Irrespective of what the term “Islam” may mean, the facts on the ground conclusively demonstrate Islam’s violent nature from its very inception. No need to go back to the time of Muhammad and examine the historical records. Just a few from contemporary events should make the point.
Here is a partial list: the savage Shiites-Sunnis bloodletting in Iraq; the barbarism of the resurging Taliban in Afghanistan; the genocide in Sudan’s Darfur; the Somalis killings; the Iranian mullahs murder of their own people and support of mischief abroad; the cross-border attack on Israel by Lebanese Hizbollah; the incessant terrorist acts of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Fatwa of the Palestinians against Israel; the bombing of Shiites mosques in Pakistan and the Shiites retaliation against easy innocent civilian targets.
Clearly, there is no place on the planet where Muslims reside that is in peace from the religion of peace. Spain, France, Holland, England Thailand, and Indonesia, have already been attacked while others such as Belgium have been threatened and sanctioned.
Stretching the benefit of the doubt beyond limits, one may believe that all these acts of horrors are committed by a small minority of thugs and radicals who happened to be Muslims.
Fine, let us ignore all those “fringes” for now: those who are giving Islam a bad reputation. And never mind Saudi Arabia, the cradle of barbarism fixed in formaldehyde since Islam’s inception. Also, let us overlook the dastardly Shiite fanatics presently ruling (ruining) a great nation of Iran. Iran Shiite Hitlerists are hell-bent on wiping Israel off the face of the planet while viciously devastating Iran’s own largest minority—the Baha’is; the people universally-recognized as law-abiding and peaceful.
Would someone account for what is happening in the “civilized” Islamic country of Egypt? The world owes Egypt a debt of gratitude for giving it the Muslims Brotherhood—the lead promoter of Sunni hatred toward the infidels with chapters and front organizations in much of the world. With typical Islamic hypocrisy, the Egyptian government claims that the Muslims Brotherhood is outlawed, when in actuality the Brotherhood holds twenty-five percent of the seats in the Egyptian parliament. The same country that gave the world vicious American killers like Al Zawahiri is the recipient of huge largess from the American taxpayer.
And the latest shameful action of the Egyptian government is the issuance of identity cards that requires listing of one’s religion. In order to be issued an ID card which is essential for just about any and all exercises of the rights of citizenship, the individual must list his religion as one of the three sanctioned faith: Islam, Christianity, or Judaism. No one is allowed to leave the religious affiliation blank or list any other religion. Buddhists, Hindus, Baha’is or agnostics and atheists have to either lie and fake a religious affiliation or run the serious risk of having to survive as non-entities in the “crown jewel” of modern and moderate Islamic society.
These are the conditions on the ground wherever Islam rules. Violence of all forms is endemic to Islam and is not confined to any fringes. Islam itself is the fringe. A fringe that is oppressive, hateful of others and violent to the core.
The world must confront Islam and demand that it mends its ways in conformity with the Bill of Rights, where every man, woman, and child is fully entitled to equal treatment under the law, irrespective of any and all considerations.

In Australia, if you go to these McDonald's you have to eat halal meat. Does McDonald's know what 'halal' butchery means. It is a barbaric way to kill a cow, totally stupid (see Stupid Islam below.) Where's PETA? Why aren't they up in arms about this? Western butcher techniques are far more humane and PETA is up in arms about that. So why the silence about the grotesque hilal butchering of cows? And why must I, as a person who despises Islam, not be informed that the cow my burger came from was blessed in the name of Islam, which wants to kill me (since I don't plant to convert but fight)? OK McDonald's, fine, I won't eat at your restaurant any longer.
SUNDAY HERALD - AUSTRALIA
Muslim Mac attack Kelvin Healey
McDONALD'S latest bid to attract more customers -- Muslim fast-food lovers -- has caused uproar among customers.
The fast-food chain has introduced halal products at two Melbourne restaurants, significantly boosting sales.
However some non-Muslim customers are furious they were not told their hamburger meat was slaughtered and blessed in accordance with Islamic rules laid down in the Koran.
McDonald's consulted Muslim leaders before introducing halal products at its Brunswick East and St Albans stores.
Halal meat is from animals that have been killed facing Mecca and blessed using the name of Allah.
Brunswick East store assistant manager Nicholas Yacoub said the move had attracted a surge of new customers.
"It has pretty much doubled our sales," Mr Yacoub said.
The store does not tell drive-through customers about the change and has only one small sign inside advertising the move.
Coburg resident Miriam McLennan was stunned to discover the hamburger she bought from the Brunswick East store was blessed.
"Just as a Muslim would not want to eat anything that isn't halal . . . I should have my rights to eat normal, ordinary food that hasn't been blessed," she said.
A Catholic Church spokesman said non-Muslims deserved to know if the food was halal before buying. But he said there was no biblical reason for Christians to avoid halal food.
A McDonald's spokeswoman said customers who did not want halal food should buy from any of its other stores.
Islam is the stupidest religion on earth. Bar none. So lame, Islam is taking a dump on Earth and apparently we seem to tolerate, even praise it.
Let's look at some of the 'stupid is as stupid does' Islam did this week. In Amsterdam, Islam got all upset about the planned burqa ban. Don't they know that is how Islam keeps its women stupid. In Pakistan, the 'islamist' parties (read terrorist parties) demand Musharaff be deposed (guess how)? Musharaff pushed through some reforms of the criminal mistreatment of women raped and abused. Keep them stupid and obedient and needy. In Iran, they have even segregated women across all universities - can't be in the same room as men. They have also segregated parks. Best to keep everyone stupid. And yet, would anyone point out any mainstream 'indepth look' at Islam that has pointed it out as stupid. No?
If the West loses this war, it will because of the self denial. I look ahead of me and see an accident. Do I pretend that did not happen and take precaution? It is really something else, this state of denial is making us stupid. At least those who remain in denial.
The media is not pressured into deceiving the citizens about Islam. There's no government machine in the US at least saying keep it sweet. No, they aggressively do just that based on some warped brain pattern (looks dead to me) called multiculturalism. There is no culture that isn't as good as ours. Look how stupid Islam is - segregation, imperialism, devaluing of life, parasitic thesis, male domination, repression of freedom of expression, apostasy (still hard to believe that our media doesn't judge this as an abomination), and lest we forget, no images of their prophet Mo. Instead these abominations are described as traditional. If my ancestors ate monkeys for breakfast for 100 years, would we be considered traditionalists?
But then Islam, stupid is as it does, has their allys. You got your John Esposito and Karen Armstrungs, slugs singing the praises of Islam to the infidels and getting rich selling them poisoned cake. You got your leftist parties, who think they will tame that alligator Islam after they feed those evil capitalists to it. If you are at war, why do you have to pretend your enemy is your friend. I've never heard of a war like that before but I am sure it is a repeat of history, just with a twist. After all Islam, while incredibly stupid, is a 'religion.' Stupid thou it is. Our leaders need to stop feeding this mean old gator. It will never be a friend and always an enemy. Will we end up as stupid as Islam?

A general estimate is that Saddam Hussein killed 300,000 people, started two major wars (the first against Iran, costing a million lives, and the second against Kuwait, with perhaps 100,000 dead); according to the New York Times’ latest zig-zag, he came within a year of producing a nuclear bomb that could have been used to kill additional millions, and ensured the survival of his tyranny for the foreseeable future. For sheer sadistic mayhem, like routine rape and murder, there has been no worse regime than Saddam.
For the first time in human history, a mass-murdering tyrant on this scale has been caught, tried, and convicted in an open court of law. The people of Iraq and surrounding countries have been able to see him tried on television. Saddam has been sentenced to hang, according to Iraqi law, legitimized by the only elected government in the Arab Middle East.
By any decent human standard this is an extraordinary victory for civilization over barbarism.
But rather than applaud a heroic achievement of Iraqi justice right in the middle of a war, Europe now noisily parades its opposition to capital punishment for Saddam.
Forget the usual pros and cons of capital punishment. Just ask yourself: Is Europe a morally serious place?
We know that its politicians constantly preach to the rest of the world. No doubt dinner conversations around the European continent echo the politicians. Tens of millions of Europeans obviously believe they are more moral than thou. But is there any truth to that?
Remember, for the first time in human history a major mass-murdering tyrant has been caught and brought to justice.
Hitler was never caught. Stalin and Mao died in their beds, and Jean-Paul Sartre, Europe’s most famous philosopher of the 20th century, passionately supported them at the height of their reigns of terror. The entire French intellectual elite worships Sartre as well as Nazis like Paul de Man and Martin Heidegger. The whole gang of bloody-minded European professors either sided with the Nazis or the worst Leftist tyrants, just as today they are passionately attracted to Hamas and Hezbollah.
None of the tyrants who were glorified and rationalized by millions of Europeans were ever caught. Europe’s ideological collusion was active and necessary for all those crimes to take place. Europe’s scribbling classes created the propaganda and the diversions necessary for mass murder, not once, but over and over again over the last century.
But now Saddam Hussein has been caught, tried, and convicted, and will be hanged if his conviction is approved on appeal.
And Europe wants to spare Saddam’s life.
Ten years ago Europeans looked on passively while genocide took place in the Balkans; finally they talked the United States into acting. The Europeans and their hero diplomat Kofi Annan, looked on and did nothing while genocide took place in Rwanda. Today a credible court case in France alleges that the French colluded and stirred up the genocidal parties for its own benefit. Today, Europe supports the Sudan being a member of the UN Human Rights Commission, and fails to do anything about yet another African genocide carried on by the Sudanese regime over a period of decades.
Yet Europe wants to spare Saddam’s life.
The dirty little secret is that every mass-murdering ideology in the last two centuries had its origins and supporters in Europe. Pol Pot was Cambodian by birth but learned his revolutionary ideology in Paris. He was trained by the French Communist Party and the Russian KGB, went home, and massacred two or three million of his countrymen. Even Saddam’s Baathist Party was modeled on the European fascist parties of the 1930s.
Yet Europe wants to spare Saddam’s life.
The most infamous massacres of the 20th century, the Nazi genocide of some six million Jews, was inspired by a European nativist ideology.
Yet Europe wants to spare Saddam’s life.
Belgium conducted mass murders in the Congo. France fought a vicious imperial war in Algeria. Russia, under the guise of the vaunted Soviet Union, the hope of mankind, created forced starvation in the Ukraine. And today, North Korea is still, responsible for systematically starving hundreds of thousands of its own people. Kim’s regime is a stereotypical Stalinist regime —a European ideology passionately supported by millions and millions of people on that dark and cruel continent. (I do not refer to Africa.)
Today, Europeans politicians are again in the world news, very proudly calling to spare Saddam’s life. It shows their sweet and moral nature.
Now we have new tyrants and terrorist at the gates. Three thousand innocent Americans were murdered five years ago, but Europe is urging us to forget all about it; and above all, not to take 9/11 as a warning of what is to come if we don’t fight now. It’s because they are so peaceful.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has promised to “wipe Israel off the map.” The Europeans have nominally taken the lead in negotiating with Ahmadinejad, to keep him from getting nukes. They have failed, because they are wishful weaklings, who rationalize any danger. The mullahs just laugh at them.
When sane nations take actions to stop Ahmadinejad, they will be viciously criticized by Europeans for doing so. We know that.
Europe is morally superior because it wants to spare Saddam.
If the whole world adopted Europe’s “higher morality” we would all be dead. Because their moralizing isn’t moral, it is merely flabby and self-indulgent.
We have protected Europe for a century with our blood and treasure. Under our protection they have constructed a Disneyland for adults, one that is utterly unable to defend itself. Instead, they have imported tens of millions of ideologues who want nothing more than to take over Europe.
Yet Europe is obnoxiously ready to preach morality to the decent nations of the world who are not as deluded as they are. True to their endless imperialistic arrogance, they are now exporting yet another world-conquering ideology, a fuzzier version of communism, aiming to actively hog-tie the United States through a hundred international treaties.
But this time they assure us that European-style world government will be paradise on earth. Trust us.
I’m curious – how is it that these people even dare to raise their heads when Iraq tries to punish Saddam?

I'd say the ridicule is richly deserved after an American retired couple was harassed and manhandled by the Sharia Cops:
Lim: We’re been ridiculed over raid on US couple
The Tourism Ministry (has) received many letters expressing ridicule over the recent raid by religious authorities on an American couple in Langkawi, said Deputy Minister Datuk Donald Lim. He said some of the letters scorned him, asking if he takes along his marriage certificate when travelling overseas with his wife.
Richly deserved scorn, I would say again. And yes, Mr. Minister, do you take your marriage certificate with you when travelling with your spouse, not just overseas, but in your own country? After all, you never know when such documentation might be, er, useful.
“We are concerned, and hope that they (the religious council) can standardise the procedure (in conducting raids),” he said, noting that the councils in different states had different practices.
On Oct 12, Randal Barnhart, 62, and his wife Carole, 61, were in their rented condominium in Kuah when enforcement officers knocked on their door at 2am, accusing them of committing close proximity and demanding to see their marriage certificate.
"Standardise the procedure?" Lame, lame, lame! How pathetic can those Malaysian ministers get? I'd say damn pathetic.
Lim said the issue was raised at a recent meeting of the sub-committee on foreign tourism attended by about 60 representatives from agencies and private organisations. He noted that the Federal Islamic Development Department (Jakim)did not send any representative to the meeting.Hey Minister, how about voicing the radical idea of doing away with such raids altogether? Nah, that will never happen.
"We hope the Prime Minister’s Department could come up with a guideline (on how khalwat raids should be conducted)," he told The Star at the International Chinese Tourist Association Conference 2006.
