'Palestine' votes to escalate the war

The rump "Palestinian state" has, with a healthy amount of US taxpayer dollars, managed to run the semblance of an election today. And the winner of today's electoral contest?

A group of mass murderers named Hamas.

It can't get any more official than that. "Palestine" is now a official terrorist state, joining the infamous ranks of Syria, Iran, and North Korea. While the losing party "Fatah" at least gave lip service to the "peace process" to the west, Hamas makes its intentions obvious enough that even the most dim witted observer can figure out where they stand.

Israel, says Hamas, is to be destroyed. By any means necessary. The suicide bombings, mortar and rocket attacks, and whatever else the Muslims can pull off, are going to continue. And this is without a doubt the will of the "Palestinian" people--Hamas now has its blood-soaked mandate. I don't think the gurus at State quite had this outcome in mind with their 'pro-democracy' party line.

Of course, Hamas has a lot of friends in Damascus and Tehran (officially) and most everywhere else in Dar al Islam (unofficially). Iran, its coffers flush from ever increasing oil prices, just wrote Hizbollah (Hamas' big brother) a check for a cool $100 million this year alone. And that kind of money can buy a lot of suicide bomb belts.

Mohammed would undoubtedly be pleased with Hamas and their backers.

Israel has its own elections in March. So unless Sharon makes a miraculous recovery, Hamas' victory is very likely to propel Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu back into the Prime Minister's office. Netanyahu, the hawk of Israeli politics, has made his opinion on Iran's nuclear weapons program quite clear. Israeli Defense Minister Mofaz said it best in a recent speech: "If the United Nations and the international community fail to act, Israel will do so." Israel can be trusted to do as they say.

The coming war has taken a step closer.

What a mess. There's just something totally disgusting about children carrying AK-47s. These people don't give a hoot about their children, how can anyone expect them to give a hoot about Israeli children? Time to seal the borders, and starve the f***ers to death. Of course we won't. We still send food to N Korea, even though they've basically told us to f**k off... Ahhhhhhh.....

This election will pose serious challenges for the Bush administration. The Palestinians "elected" a terrorist organization into power. If we support democracy, we can't cry foul if the Palestinians fairly elected Hamas. I think all that we can do is to stop all aid to the Palestinians. The US has classified Hamas as a terrorist organization...so that should make it illegal to contribute to...regardless of whether or not they were elected. This just shows how stupid/misled most Palestinians are. Israel will not deal with Hamas. How can they? Hamas is founded on the principal of destroying Israel. Should be very interesting the next couple of months.

Have we found out if "Martyr Mom" was elected?
http://www.memri.org/bin/opener_latest.cgi?ID=SD106306

I'm trying to find results on specific candidates. This would be even better, more specific evidence against the claim that corruption in Fatah was behind Hamas success rather than their hatred of Israel and their backing of terrorism...

Even though Hamas might have won through democratic elections...the government still won't be a Constitutional Democracy. It won't respect the rights of minorities and any political party that has a military wing isn't it true political party. At least not in the way we perceive politics. Still...Hamas was elected and we're going to have to figure out a way to deal with it. Great post.

I lived in the Middle East for a few years. There was a cat that hung around my place, and she had babies. In a month or so the mother and the babies were roughly the same size, and mom was pretty much on equal terms with them. Mom played like them, slept with them, ate with them, was a cat the way the babies were cats. It was a cat love-fest. Yes, dad showed up on occasion to hang out and play around too.

The Pal.s on the other hand, segregated themselves according to sex, the women living on the bottom floor and serving the men upstairs. The boys were turfed when they were old enough to leave the domain of women. The whole lot of them, to their dubious credit, got all excited when one of those creature kids tormented and made mad for years, killed a bunch of children and his tortured self as well.

How is it that so many Humans don't even have the brains of cats?

Next I will compare Muslims to garden snails.

What is even more disgusting, Eyes, is that "Human Rights" organizations start spewing all sorts of rants about Israeli apartheid, but say nothing about the warping of these children's minds. I saw a movie by Pierre Rehov, where a small child was being interviewed by Pali tv, and he was asked what he wanted to do to Israelis, and his face became contorted with insane rage, and he swore he would eat the flesh of the Jews, and he started gnawing on his own fist to show the cameras just how he would eat Jewish flesh. Later in the film, footage from an Italian tv crew showed the lifeless, dismembered corpses of 2 young Jewish men being dropped from the windows of a Palestinian police station, where they were brought after they got lost in the wrong neighborhood.
The angry crowd of Palistian savages descended upon their bodies, and they tore the bowels and flesh from these men, and BEGAN TO EAT IT FOR THE CAMERAS! What will it take to awaken the people of the world to the insanity of Islam I don't know. If this couldn't persuade anyone in Italy, there isn't much hope for anyone else, I guess.

I've seen the works of Palestinians in the flesh. I've seen many times the torment of children made insane, and I've seen them dead.

This evening we met at McDonald's, met in solidarity with our friench friends rallying in Paris under the banner of the Blue Revolution. We wore blue scarves. We met, and we talked. We can make a difference just by talking in public, unafraid to speak in public, open about our hatred of the torment of children and the deaths that arise from that horror that is Islam. Just by being angry and intolerant of madness in public, by assembling in public and being seen we can begin to put a stop to this madness and destruction of all involved.

In Paris today 1,200 people rallied. They wore Blue scarves and demonstrated that they will not accept Islamic madness any longer. We met too in Vancouver, Canada.

We have friends who demonstrated in cities in New York state, Illinois, in California, in Sydney, Australia. We did not shake the world to its roots. Not today. But this is the beginning. We can begin to put a stop to this Islamic madness by being open about our hatred of it. No one should have to live in fear of being agianst the madness of Islamic violence. Today we took steps to announce in public that it has to stop. We're going to meet again.

Don't worry....Hamas and Fatah have already started shooting each-other.
Great, let the World see what they are like. I hope they do a good job, they've got enough guns.

I haven't heard any of the old "ROP" BS from the Bush administration lately, have you? I think Iran's latest hyjinx, and now this with Hamas is proving to the world that they are a society of psychopaths. Psychopaths can not be cured, only controlled. Mass lobotomies...
