Fight The Senate Amnesty Bill

Today the Senate's Judiciary Committee passed to the floor the worse immigration bill. We must make sure this bill never gets passed. I urge you to call your Reps and Senators and tell them to vote NO on the Senate Spectre-Kennedy-Graham bill. Support only the House enforcement bill.

I'm involved and I urge everyone to get involved. Register at NumbersUSA, they offer a free fax service to let your Reps. and Senators know you do not want this open borders guest worker/amnesty bill. Tell them you want to have true enforcement first, a fence first, then guest worker and amnesty can be discussed after 2008. Do you have your Senators and Reps. phone numbers on your mobile? Visit the FAIR site and enter your zipcode. They will display the phone number for YOUR Rep and Senator. Put them on speed dial and call them once a week. That's right. Once a week. You won't talk to them directly, but your opinion on an issue, like immigration, will be recorded and that feedback will be provided to your Rep. or Senator. Tell them you want enforcement only.

Why is there this obsession with packing the US with people who hate the US? The reconquista and the Muslim fifth column are both growing. A lot of these illegal Mexicans actually believe they are reclaiming their land. We know what the Muslims believe. Trying to deal with 2 fifth columns at the same time is a ticket to failure.

What on earth is going on in the heads of the people at the top? Have they got sawdust for brains, or what?

The West is besieged as it is. Neither the US nor Europe need more immigrants to come and try and destroy our way of life.

Sorry to say this but the Democrat Party is a scourge with the botom-of-the-barrel like Ed Kennedy, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter etc.

Clinton chauffeur an illegal immigrant
NEWARK, N.J., March 27 (UPI) -- An embarrassing hole in security surrounding
former U.S. President Bill Clinton turned up when one of his chauffeurs was
found to be a wanted man.

Shahzad Qureshi, 42, was in one of three cars awaiting Clinton at Newark
Airport last week when a Port Authority policeman happened to check license
plate numbers.

The computer came back showing the Pakistani national had skipped a
residency-status hearing in 2000, and a deportation order had been issued by
the Immigration and Naturalization Service, the New York Post reported.

Qureshi was still in jail Monday awaiting immigration processing, the report
said.

hutch,.. if ever the worst happened to a president or a king, it would be precisely because of a security "hole" like this.
Well, we tried to tell 'em, they just wouldn't listen!

And eleven-year labor agreement of partial residence is not amnesty, it is a workable solution to an impossible dilemma. Consensus is a good thing: as much as I am disgusted by Kennedy, I will not allow his name being on a bill to turn me away from a good idea.

There are four problems at hand
1) It is next to impossible to round up even a majority of the illegal aliens in this country. While we must make every effort to do so, it will hardly be a solution, and may even deport the functional and retain the disfunctional and criminal elements who are in the underground.

2) There will always remain a hole in our border. Whether literally a hole in the fence, ways to get over the fence, under the fence or around the fence, holes will always exist in our borders.

3) To compete with China, we need a comparable cheap labor force. If there is one thing that's making us less economically relevant, it is the unions and socialists that constantly drive up labor costs to several times those of China. If there are Americans who, like my immigrant parents do not ask how much they pay for a job, it is ultimately a good thing for America, so give them a legal way to come and work for our struggling businesses.

4) Whether you like it or not, there is a moral obligation (of whatever relevance) to assist these individuals. Better to do so legally than illegally, as the reprehensible Cardinal Mahony is doing. I am not thinking with my heart, I am thinking with the words of Jesus in mind here, and those must have some effect.

My best friend got in a car accident yesterday--with an illegal. My friend's vehicle was totaled. She wasn't injured, thank God!

Most of the illegals we're hearing about are here to work. But in so doing, they are becoming, in effect, a slave class. And what happens when there are too many laborers for the available jobs? Something similar to what we're seeing right now in France?

The 1986 amnesty was a disaster. In fact, guest-worker programs have been a failure since 1917. I posted on this matter here.

Please indulge me as I copy-and-paste a comment I left at my own site after I had posted the article:

"We have an aging white America ... They are dying ...We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him." Jose Angel Gutierrez, professor, University of Texas, Arlington and founder of the La Raza Unida political party...

The definition of illegal isn't racist or racism. If you break into someone's house to steal, that is an illegal act, not racism. If the law says a man cannot force a woman to have sex against her will, it's called rape and if you commit such an act, it's an illegal one, not racism. Our immigration laws prohibit any individual, regardless of country of origin, to smuggle themselves across any of our borders. This is a matter of federal law...

Fabian Nunez, California assemblyman, at the Latino Summit Response to Prop 187 at U.C. Riverside (Jan. 14, 1995): "Each of you, get ten people to go with us on that march in Washington, D.C., and I guarantee you just as we mobilized 150,000 to the streets of Los Angeles on October 16, we will mobilize 1 million people and bring Washington to a standstill, and those rednecks that are out there making decisions for the betterment of their communities will think twice before they push forward anti- immigrant legislation against our community."

"... Brown Berets, we're here today to show L.A., show the minority people here, the Anglo-Saxons, that we are here, the majority, we're here to stay. We do the work in this city, we take care of the spoiled brat children ... We're here in Westwood ... to show white Anglo-Saxon Protestant L.A., the few of you who remain, that we are the majority, and we claim this land as ours, it's always been ours, and we're still here, and none of the talk about deporting.

"If anyone's going to be deported, it's going to be you! ... Get out! We are the future. You're old and tired. Go on. We have beaten you – leave like beaten rats. You old white people, it is your duty to die. Right now, we're already controlling those elections, whether it's by violence or nonviolence. Through love of having children we're going to take over." Augustin Cebada, information minister of Brown Berets, militant para-military soldiers of Aztlan shouting at U.S. citizens at an Independence Day rally in Los Angeles....

Think we haven't been invaded from the south?

The damned politicians are jockeying for position and for votes, and America will come crashing down. God!

Little Cicero: a moral obligation?

Yes, an obligation to preserve this nation AND an obligation not to create a slave class. We're creating that slave class right now with our immigration policy.

Little Cicero,
Get off the utopia kick. It won't fly!

Superb. You have it.
It is too sad that the young white Americans have sipped the cup of Liberty and become drunken with the dreams of Utopia. It is perhaps because the reality is a sour draught, like vinegar, and youth recoils from anyhing that seems not sweet.
I must say something to little-cicero that when he says....

"3) To compete with China, we need a comparable cheap labor force"

I thought America had abolished slavery.

Does he want America to be modelled on Communist China?

No, I simply see the writing on the wall: China will in my lifetime have eclipsed the US if we do not drive down our labor costs.

I live in a city that is going through a slow and painful economic demise because of the loss of several steel factories. Our factories will be a thing of history in a matter of decades, and the satellite industries that were built to revolve around these factories will dissolve in the process. There is nothing to base it on. The Left is killing us, and the only salvation is to be found not in "slave labor" but in a group of people that is hardworking but can't find any work, and will do anything for a job. It is not immoral to give people cheap labor when in their own country there is NO labor.
