Rice caves in, jizya to Palestine set to resume

In a totally predictable turn of events, Uberdhimmi Rice has caved to the Eurabian allies on the matter of 'Palestinian Aid'. Very soon, reems of US tax dollars will be heading back to Gaza and the West Bank. The spin on it is that the jizya--oops, I meant 'humanitarian aid'--is going, ahem, "directly to the Palestinian people."

UNITED NATIONS May 9, 2006 (AP)— The United States bowed to pressure from its allies on Tuesday and agreed to support a new program to temporarily funnel additional humanitarian aid directly to the Palestinian people.

A statement by Mideast peacemakers, issued after a day of closed-door diplomatic meetings, did not suggest precisely how much or what kind of aid they would provide. But the agreement seemed to underscore a concern that months of withholding most aid from the Palestinians, part of an effort to pressure the new Hamas-led government toward a more accommodating stance with Israel, was harming the Palestinian people.

Heavens, we just simply can't allow those poor terrorists and their supporters to starve. They don't even have the money to feed themselves, right?

So how could the long-suffering Jihadists afford to buy stuff like high-grade military explosives?

JERUSALEM (AFP) - Israel last week seized a large cargo of high-grade explosives which an Egyptian boat tried totransfer to two Palestinian boats from the Gaza Strip, the army told AFP.

According to a military source on Tuesday, an Israeli navy patrol off the Mediterranean coast of Sinai last Wednesday spotted "an Egyptian boat transferring a cargo to two Palestinian boats".

The suspicious cargo was dropped off by the Palestinian boats once their crews noticed the Israeli ship, the source told AFP.

"Navy divers later retrieved the cargo from the seabed and found it contained 550 kilograms (1,200 pounds) of full-grade TNT (trinitrotoluene) explosives," he said.

Remember, every western dollar or euro that goes to feed some Palestinian Arab is one less dollar that Hamas has to spend on providing services, and one more dollar that they can devote to buying explosives, rockets, or otherwise financing Martyrdom Operations.

Are you implying, sir, that they are NOT going to be standing on street corners handing out thick envelopes to women, children, and small shop owners?

Say not so!

Bahrain Tries to Hoodwink Bush on Anti-Israel Boycott

The Gulf Arab state of Bahrain, which will shortly begin to enjoy special trade benefits under a deal signed with Washington, appears to have pulled one over on the Bush Administration.

I fear that Rice and Bush have come to represent the Right and the Republican Party. And this is as good as it is going to get. The other party we know too well to bother commenting about. She and Bush had a golden opportunity to let reality teach the "Palestinians" a huge object lesson, one that might have benefitted that part of the world and all the rest of us to a vast degree for years by forcing them to face the meaning of their values. She and Bush put a penny in the fusebox. So, instead of a power outage, she and he guaranteed a conflagration.

We truly need a second political party, not a third. The Democrats and Republicans are simply two sides of the same coin. Whether Democrats or Republicans hold the power, America and Americans are paying a terrible price. A rights based, constitutional party which fully reaffirms founding principles would truly give us the choice versus more echoes.

Call it the anti-dhimmi party if nothing else.
