Israel is Evil...believe it or else!

Malaysia's latest propaganda masterpiece, proudly presented on state-run TV. Disinformation at its finest:

Programme On Zionist Cruelty To Create Public Awareness, Says Zam

KUALA LUMPUR, July 31 (Bernama) -- A special programme entitled 'Malam Ekspresi Kezaliman Yang Direstui' (Sanctioned Zionist Cruelty) aired live by Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) Monday night is to raise awareness on the atrocities perpetrated by the Israelis in Lebanon, said Information Minister Datuk Zainuddin Maidin.

He said that although it used an entertainment format, RTM did not forget its social responsibility to emphasise the concerns of the people in voicing out their apprehension to acts of cruelty committed by Israel.

"RTM is committed in its mission to raise national awareness on the Zionist cruelty by using a healthy entertainment programme for the purpose," he told reporters after attending the live broadcast of the programme at Auditorium P. Ramlee in Angkasapuri, here.

The 45-minute programme among others aimed at stating Malaysian's support for Lebanon and indignation at the cruelty of the Israeli regime.

Coming soon to Malaysian government TV--"RTM is proud to present The Protocols of the Elders of Zion!"

Yup, I'd bet money on it.

Why The Cheapest Methods To Protect America Are Ignored

It's sad really. Our political correctness and multicult disease dictates that we do not control our borders, that we name a war after a tactic, and insist Muslims be allowed to immigrate to America; in fact, they should be given preference for our past 'imperialism.'

Here we are protecting ourselves from complex incoming missiles and fight huge multibillion dollars wars to 'enlighten' the Muslims about 'freedom' and 'democracy.' Both have been follies, just like jizya 'aid' to Pakistan, Middle East, Indonesia, and Palestine. Much of it is stolen or used to fight against us and promote hatred of us, the despised infidels. At the same time,we let thousands of Muslims immigrate here to hate us, deceive us, plot against us, to breed, to spread da'wa to the disenfranchised or those with perceived grievances against society (prisoners, blacks, ignorant poor people and the 'elite' nihilists), set up milyets (Dearborn), and use our kindness and charity and government welfare and equal opportunity 'prefence' and job 'race quotas' to disproportionately infiltrate our government and institutions to plot against us.

It is so easy to create a massive terror event by only a few people who wish us great harm. I have thought about what a single person could do to create death and terror, and some ideas I came up with are downright scary. But we let them in because multiculturalism is better than survival of our way of life and society unity and identity. The West has a nihilistic mental disease - as Hugh Fitzgerald at JihadWatch says "Who are you gonna believe, me or your lying eyes?"

When we have a terrorist attack and they are found out to be let in through our inept and corrupt immigation system or they just walked across the border, I will know who to blame. I blame Bush. I'm a Republican, but Bush has turned out to be a Democrat liberal when it comes to immigration and protecting the identity of America.

It will happen again because our politicians refuse to control our borders and have an immigration system that discriminates against Muslims and the crud of the world.

Immigration to America and citizenship should be a privilege, a privilege you must work hard for, only for the best of the world, who aspire to be successful and assimilated, not the parasites and evils of the world by quota or just showing up for amnesty citizenship after sneaking across the border or overstaying their visa.

And to think, these reforms don't cost a red cent. They would save money. But they are not politically correct. It really is sad.

VDH's Handy Vocabulary Guide to the War

Writer-savant Victor Davis Hanson has compiled an impressive list of doublespeak that's emerged from countless statement and press conferences in regards to the ongoing Israeli-Hezbollah war.

A “ceasefire” would occur should Hezbollah give back kidnapped Israelis and stop launching missiles; it would never follow a unilateral cessation of Israeli bombing. In fact, we will hear international calls for one only when Hezbollah’s rockets are about exhausted.

“Civilians” in Lebanon have munitions in their basements and deliberately wish to draw fire; in Israel they are in bunkers to avoid it. Israel uses precision weapons to avoid hitting them; Hezbollah sends random missiles into Israel to ensure they are struck.

“Collateral damage” refers mostly to casualties among Hezbollah’s human shields; it can never be used to describe civilian deaths inside Israel , because everything there is by intent a target.

“Cycle of Violence” is used to denigrate those who are attacked, but are not supposed to win.

“Deliberate” reflects the accuracy of Israeli bombs hitting their targets; it never refers to Hezbollah rockets that are meant to destroy anything they can.

“Deplore” is usually evoked against Israel by those who themselves have slaughtered noncombatants or allowed them to perish — such as the Russians in Grozny , the Syrians in Hama , or the U.N. in Rwanda and Dafur.

“Disproportionate” means that the Hezbollah aggressors whose primitive rockets can’t kill very many Israeli civilians are losing, while the Israelis’ sophisticated response is deadly against the combatants themselves. See “excessive.”

Anytime you hear the adjective “excessive,” Hezbollah is losing. Anytime you don’t, it isn’t.

“Eyewitnesses” usually aren’t, and their testimony is cited only against Israel .

“Grave concern” is used by Europeans and Arabs who privately concede there is no future for Lebanon unless Hezbollah is destroyed — and it should preferably be done by the “Zionists” who can then be easily blamed for doing it.

“Innocent” often refers to Lebanese who aid the stockpiling of rockets or live next to those who do. It rarely refers to Israelis under attack.

The “militants” of Hezbollah don’t wear uniforms, and their prime targets are not those Israelis who do.

“Multinational,” as in “multinational force,” usually means “third-world mercenaries who sympathize with Hezbollah.” See “peacekeepers.”

“Peacekeepers” keep no peace, but always side with the less Western of the belligerents.

“Quarter-ton” is used to describe what in other, non-Israeli militaries are known as “500-pound” bombs.

“Shocked” is used, first, by diplomats who really are not; and, second, only evoked against the response of Israel , never the attack of Hezbollah.

“United Nations Action” refers to an action that Russia or China would not veto. The organization’s operatives usually watch terrorists arm before their eyes. They are almost always guilty of what they accuse others of.

Why Disproportionate Retribution is Right

Here's a few points about Israel's, ahem, "disproportionate retribution", courtesy of PI's own Euro-Kafir.

Ben Gurion

In his article “The causes of war: Hizbullah's and Hamas's grievances” (Jerusalem Post 25 July 2006) Alexander Wright quotes Ben-Gurion as having said that “any attack against Israel will be met with disproportionate retribution.”

Wright* adds that “While the casualties of this war are heart-wrenching, since when is war supposed to be proportionate? When a state is attacked, would it make sense to strike back with an equal amount of force, and give your enemy space and time to fight back? What war has not produced innocent casualties?” (*Research Associate with the Centre for International Political Studies.)

Eisenhower

Germany’s initial successes in WW2 were undoubtedly produced by disproportionate attacks. Montgomery’s attack on Rommel at Alamein fell into this category. So did Eisenhower’s “Operation Overlord”.

Israel conquered Egypt, Syria and Jordan by its surprise attack in 1967. Sadat almost won the Yom Kippur War this way – he misunderstood Israel’s resilience and was taken by surprise by Sharon’s unexpected maneuver.

Kofi Annan

Kofi Annan and the other armchair proponents of proportionality never commanded a victorious army. All they are doing is repeating the most recent slogan of the Palestinians who are at their PR best when portraying themselves as victims.

Shock And Awe

Based on the result of wars in the last 50 years one thing is plain: if you want to win a war you should attack by surprise (if possible) but certainly with overwhelming force. That the US still believes this is manifest from its attack on Iraq in the “Shock and Awe” operation.

Krauthammer

In a criticism of the Powell Doctrine (April 20, 2001) eminent columnist Charles Krauthammer writes: “If you respond proportionately, you allow the enemy to set the parameters and level of the fighting. You grant him the initiative. In Vietnam, proportionality brought us endless losses and painful retreat.”

Simpson

In an internet letter July 24, one Peter Simpson admonishes Sky News for accepting Hezbollah’s figures of civilian casualties. He writes:

“It is pure conjecture to assume that virtually all are real civilians caught up in this conflict or whether most are not in reality Hizbollah fighters/ supporters including those who allow their homes and thus their wives and children's lives to be put at risk through housing/hiding rockets and the like.”

Friendly Fire

In fact Hezbollah have not published their casualty figures unlike Israel which does so daily. Moreover Israel makes military mistakes too as does any army engaged in a vicious war. Why the world does not accept Israel’s mistakes is puzzling. Haven’t we, sadly and unfortunately, killed enough of our own soldiers by friendly fire?

Where’s The Benefit?

Especially tragic and unfortunate are the deaths of the four UN personnel. I have previously made the point that military actions are taken to produce benefits. Kofi Annan’s hasty judgment in this light is certainly wrong - unless he believes Israel deliberately courted the world’s displeasure. For there was neither any military nor PR benefit.

If Israel did not make a mistake as Annan prefers to believe, would he kindly explain the nature of Israel’s benefit?

Well of course he can’t. Neither can anyone else. Not even the Palestinians can seriously suggest that Israel is so stupid. That we would go to so much trouble just to shoot ourselves in the foot every now and again. (Indeed both feet.) Because apparently, we have an unexplained need to motivate the majority in the United Nations to hate us all the more.

Missiles And Civilians

Civilian casualties are indeed deplorable. So let us then remember that Hamas and Hezbollah have already shot over 2,000 rockets plus uncounted numbers of mortars into Israel’s towns and cities specifically intended to kill and wound Israel’s civilians. We do not complain that they have not given us prior notice to save ourselves, as Israel has done.

We don’t expect decent conduct from terrorists.

An Excellent Cliff's Note of Islam's Violent History for the Time Constrained Infidel

Most infidels simply do not have the time or the inclination to undertake research regarding Islam's violent history. There are certainly numerous websites and books (Serge Trifklovic's Sword and Andrew Bostom's Legacy of Jihad) that can be read to learn the truth about Islam. But if you are the time constrained infidel, there is a brief but excellent article about the history of Islam. I highly recommend it for those who are time constrained or don't want to bother reading a whole book.

An Open Letter from an Israeli

Here's an open letter written recently by an Israeli about the never-ending war against Israel. I do not know the writer of this piece, but I strongly feel these views need to be heard, especially now.

Dear World, I understand that you are upset by us, here in Israel.

Indeed, it appears that you are quite upset, even angry. (Outraged?)

Indeed, every few years you seem to become upset by us. Today, it is the "brutal repression of the Palestinians"; yesterday it was Lebanon ; before that it was the bombing of the nuclear reactor in Baghdad and the Yom Kippur War and the Sinai campaign. It appears that Jews who triumph and who, therefore, live, upset you most extraordinarily.

Of course, dear world, long before there was an Israel , we - the Jewish people - upset you. We upset a German people who elected Hitler and upset an Austrian people who cheered his entry into Vienna and we upset a whole slew of Slavic nations - Poles, Slovaks, Lithuanians, Ukrainians, Russians, Hungarians and Romanians.

And we go back a long, long way in the history of making the world upset. We upset the Cossacks of Chmielnicki who massacred tens of thousands of us in 1648-49; we upset the Crusaders who, on their way to liberate the Holy Land , were so upset at Jews that they slaughtered untold numbers of us. For centuries, we upset a Roman Catholic Church that did its best to define our relationship through inquisitions, and we upset the arch-enemy of the church, Martin Luther, who, in his call to burn the synagogues and the Jews within them, showed an admirable Christian ecumenical spirit.

And it is because we became so upset over upsetting you, dear world, that we decided to leave you - in a manner of speaking - and establish a Jewish state. The reasoning was that living in close contact with you, as resident-strangers in the various countries that comprise you, we upset you, irritate you and disturb you. What better notion, then, than to leave you (and thus love you)- and have you love us and so, we decided to come home - home to the same land we were driven out 1,900 years earlier by a Roman world that, apparently, we also upset.

Alas, dear world, it appears that you are hard to please. Having left you and your pogroms and inquisitions and crusades and holocausts, having taken our leave of the general world to live alone in our own little state, we continue to upset you. You are upset that we repress the poor Palestinians. You are deeply angered over the fact that we do not give up the lands of 1967, which are clearly the obstacle to peace in the Middle East Moscow is upset and Washington is upset. The "radical" Arabs are upset and the gentle Egyptian moderates are upset.

Well, dear world, consider the reaction of a normal Jew from Israel . In 1920 and 1921 and 1929, there were no territories of 1967 to impede peace between Jews and Arabs. Indeed, there was no Jewish State to upset anybody. Nevertheless, the same oppressed and repressed Palestinians slaughtered tens of Jews in Jerusalem , Jaffa , Safed and Hebron . Indeed, 67 Jews were slaughtered one day in Hebron in 1929. Dear world, why did the Arabs - the Palestinians - massacre 67 Jews in one day in 1929? Could it have been their anger over Israeli aggression in 1967? And why were 510 Jewish men, women and children slaughtered in Arab riots between 1936-39? Was it because Arabs were upset over 1967?

And when you, dear world, proposed a UN Partition Plan in 1947 that would have created a "Palestinian State" alongside a tiny Israel and the Arabs cried "no" and went to war and killed 6,000 Jews - was that "upset" caused by the aggression of 1967? And, by the way, dear world, why did we not hear your cry of "upset" then?

The poor Palestinians who today kill Jews with explosives and firebombs and stones are part of the same people who - when they had all the territories they now demand be given to them for their state -attempted to drive the Jewish state into the sea. The same twisted faces, the same hate, the same cry of "itbach-al-yahud" (Massacre the Jew!) that we hear and see today, were seen and heard then. The same people, the same dream - destroy Israel. What they failed to do yesterday, they dream of today, but we should not "repress" them.

Dear world, you stood by during the holocaust and you stood by in 1948 as seven states launched a war that the Arab League proudly compared to the Mongol massacres. You stood by in 1967 as Nasser, wildly cheered by wild mobs in every Arab capital in the world, vowed to drive the Jews into the sea. And you would stand by tomorrow if Israel were facing extinction.

And since we know that the Arabs-Palestinians dream daily of that extinction, we will do everything possible to remain alive in our own land. If that bothers you, dear world, well, think of how many times in the past you bothered us.

In any event, dear world, if you are bothered by us, here is one Jew in Israel who could not care less.

Screw the UN

John Sobieski’s most recent post on the United Nations, and the cartoon I borrowed from Gates of Vienna, "United Notions", illustrate the UN's inherent anti-Semitic bent quite thoroughly. Those who hate Israel and those who detest the US are usually the one and the same. Once such basic truths about the UN are understood, it’s clear that the UN, as well as ‘reforming’ it, are hopeless causes.

Screw the UN. The UN started as a noble idea over 60 years ago, but it has been permanently subverted by tyrants, petty dictators, and above all, by Islam. The US and all freedom-loving countries desperately need an alternative mechanism or organization to advance the causes of democracy, human rights, and freedom around the world. Such an organization must exclude dictatorships (like China and Russia) and must also necessarily exclude any countries that possess majority Muslim populations and/or Muslim governments (like Turkey and Malaysia).

To this end, I call for a more-or-less permanent (and for the lack of a better name) “Coalition of the Willing”. For this Coalition, I hereby nominate for membership Japan, India, Australia, Israel, the United States, and Great Britain. The nomination of Great Britain is somewhat problematic. Great Britain used to be great and could be great once again. However, if the UK succumbs to the dhimmitude that is currently subverting its government, society and culture from within, the UK’s membership in the Coalition would have to regrettably withdraw.

This proposed Coalition’s primary mission would have to be the acknowledgement and the defeat of the Global Jihad, by any means necessary.

UN: You Pay For It!

Why should we pay taxes when our government hands it out to every corrupt nation and organization on Earth? Where's my booty? Anne Bayefsky at Eye on the UN provides just one example of the corrupt UN - the new and improved Human Rights Council. If it isn't clear that the UN has become an Islamic club to destroy the West, you really need to take the blinders off.

UN Human Rights Council - Credibility Exploded in Its First Session, Anne Bayefsky

The Human Rights Council was Kofi Annan's flagship of UN reform. But only two weeks after it began, it took up where the discredited Human Rights Commission left off - Israel-bashing. This time, however, the Organization of the Islamic Conference, has taken over the Council. The hijacking was made possible because of the redistribution of seats in the March resolution that created the Council. Only four countries, including the U.S. and Israel, voted against the resolution. The Administration also decided not to seek membership on the Council. U.S. UN Ambassador John Bolton was widely criticized for the move by such individuals as Congressman Tom Lantos, and undercut by promises to support the Council and to pay for it coming from Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Nicholas Burns.

Here is what transpired at its first session - none of which would have been changed by a single vote had the U.S. been a member. The Council adopted only one resolution condemning human rights violations by any of the 192 UN members - directed at Israel. It placed criticism of Israel permanently on the agenda of all future sessions. It gave only the special investigator on Israel what amounted to a permanent mandate. And when it ended, the Council decided to hold its first special (emergency) session within days – on Israel.

Just for information -- in Darfur, there are three quarters of a million people beyond humanitarian reach, 2.5 million people displaced by the violence, 385,000 people in immediate risk of starvation, and over two million dead in twenty-two years of violence and deprivation.

Pakistan accelerates its nuclear weapons program

Absolutely nothing good can come out of this. Muslims in Pakistan (or anywhere else) need plutonium like a drug addict needs another fix.

Pakistan builds plutonium reactor

Plant could supply material for 40-50 nuclear bombs a year

By Joby Warrick, Washington Post
Updated: 1:00 a.m. ET July 24, 2006

Pakistan has begun building what independent analysts say is a powerful new reactor for producing plutonium, a move that, if verified, would signal a major expansion of the country's nuclear weapons capabilities and a potential new escalation in the region's arms race.

Satellite photos of Pakistan's Khushab nuclear site show what appears to be a partially completed heavy-water reactor capable of producing enough plutonium for 40 to 50 nuclear weapons a year, a 20-fold increase from Pakistan's current capabilities, according to a technical assessment by Washington-based nuclear experts.
This development portends nothing good for South Asia, for infidels, or for the world.

One could make a very strong argument that Pakistan, a borderline failed state, is itself a greater threat to world peace than even the Criminal State of North Korea. Pakistan is a nuclear-armed dictatorship with a significant minority of its population, likely a majority, that actively supports the Global Jihad. Its government intelligence services have been directly implicated in countless jihadist plots, including the recent Mumbai train bombings that killed over 180 people.

The Taliban is a Pakistani invention and export that even now continues its bloody jihad against American and NATO troops in Afghanistan. Numerous terrorist groups are based on Pakistani soil and enjoy safe harbor there, including Al Qaeda and Lashkar-e-Taiba. The Paki government is either unable or (more likely) unwilling to remove these groups and the many others in their country that share the same murderous theology and objectives.

Pakistan's exports of Jihadists, Jihadist ideology and indoctrination, and missile and nuclear technology is a toxic brew, indeed. It is a threat that can only worsen in the years to come.

The Criminal State

Funny and ironic, how states run by criminals are called 'Police States'.

I don't think Pedestrian Infidel has ever tackled the North Korean issue until now. The world's attention may be firmly fixed on the Middle East, but we should not forget the NoKo's and their charming prison state.

StrategyPage has an article from 2003 that still aptly sums up everything you need to know about the NoKo criminal state:

Heroin, atom bombs, ballistic missiles and counterfeit cash.

Plot elements in a schlock spy thriller? Actually, they're North Korea's premier exports, the tawdry trade items of a poverty-wracked nation whose ruling clique lives quite well on the profits of drugs, weapons, bribery and plain old criminal fraud.

At its iron and evil core, Kim Jong Il's North Korean regime is a criminal syndicate with a million-man army and now crude nuclear weapons.

It's also a frightened clique, whose latest nuclear tantrum has nudged its Asian neighbors closer to accepting the U.S. view that the regime cannot be reformed and a "containment and negotiation" strategic approach to Pyongyang simply gives the regime more time to deploy weapons of mass destruction. South Korea's "sunshine policy" of "generous engagement" was an utter failure, merely a cash cow for the North Korean regime.

North Korea's heroin escapades demonstrate the regime's calculated depravity -- and why it ultimately has no place in 21st century Asia.

Malaysia responds to the war

The latest war between Israel and the Jihad has been raging for almost a week now. I have been checking the local papers daily, as well as the website of the official Malaysian government mouthpiece ("Bernama"), looking for some sort of reaction or response to the conflict. Besides one perfunctory government statement that called for a ceasefire last week, the local reaction to this major international event has been, until now, strangely and curiously muted. Malaysian bloggers aren't saying anything. Nor were there any anti-American/Israeli/Zionist/Infidel protests last Friday afternoon (which is the usual time for such things). Almost like Malaysia doesn't mind if Israel beats Hamas and Hezbollah senseless.

Well, have no fear. The local Muslims have finally, belatedly, come to the defense of their co-religionists. First stepping up to the plate is Malaysia's version of the Hitler Youth, a local Muslim 'youth' group from a local Malay/Muslim supremacy group called the United Malay National Organization (UMNO). Here's what this upstanding 'youth' organization has to say:

Umno Youth: Stop Israeli aggression

MUAR: Umno Youth has urged the superpowers, especially the United States, to force Israel to stop its aggression on Palestine and Lebanon.

Its vice-chairman Khairy Jamaluddin said the aggression could prompt certain parties to carry out counter-attacks against Israel or its allies in other parts of the world.

“We are asking superpower nations to act fast to force Israel to stop the aggression in Palestine and Lebanon.

“We also ask the United Nations to do its duty in putting a stop to the aggression,” he said after presenting educational aid to the children of the late Pasir Gudang division Umno Youth chief Mat Mazlan Abu here yesterday.

Khairy said Umno Youth chairman Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein would initiate a move among international youth leaders, especially in Asean, to put up a strong protest condemning the aggression.

Usual Muslim boilerplate stuff here. Did you notice the veiled threat contained in this gentleman's words here? In other words, he's telling us: You had better stop the Zionist entity's "aggression", or there's no telling how murderous and violent Muslims around the world may get. There's no telling how many more kuffirs may be murdered on such a pretext.

And if that happens, it's the fault of the infidels, of course.

Not to be outdone by the kiddies division, the 'adults' from UMNO are at last boosting their rhetoric also:

Israel Should Be Brought To Justice At ICJ, Says Rahim

KUALA LUMPUR, July 16 (Bernama) -- Malaysia as the current chair of the Organisation of Islamic Conference should assist Lebanon which has been attacked by Israel since the last five days leaving at least 100 dead.

Umno's Supreme Council member Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Thamby Chik said Israel has to be dealt at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on the atrocities it committed on the Lebanese people."

As Israel's close ally, the United States had used its veto powers to shoot down Security Councils condemnation on the attacks, therefore Malaysia should assist Lebanon in seeking justice at ICJ," he told Bernama here, today.

Abdul Rahim said the international community has to voice out its disapproval on Israel's attacks on Lebanon.

Israel's blitz began on Wednesday targetting Hizbollah strongholds in south Lebanon where two Israeli soldiers are being held.

While major powers like Russia denounced the Zionist regime, the United States described Israel's actions as acts of self defence.

"Zionist Regime"! I knew the Moslem writer from Bernama wouldn't let me down. The Malaysian wing of the jihad is just getting warmed up. The anti-infidel rhetoric is just beginning.

Jihad Resurgent

It's been an active week in the war, and the forces of Islamofascism are busy. Bombs in Kashmir and Mumbai, Operation Summer Rain in Gaza, and Hezbollah's assaults on Israel, with the Israeli counterstroke now in progress.

Those open minded and informed enough about the Global Jihad can see the common threads in all of these seemingly unrelated tales. Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, and Al Qaeda are acting in concert with the Shia side of the Jihad, namely Hizbollah and its sponsors, Iran/Syria. It's an operational alliance, a murderous union of Sunni and Shia thugs and murderers waging war against their enemies, the infidels, and specifically Israel.

Could the connection be any clearer? Gaza is under siege by the IDF, so the Shia of Hizbollah, the owners of southern Lebanon and a wing of the Iranian Jihad, launch a second front on behalf of their Palestinian brethren. Even the tactics are the same--rockets and the kidnapping of soldiers.

Now as Israel fights back on two fronts, the clock is ticking...on Israel. The longer Israel continues its counteroffensives in Gaza and now Lebanon, the greater the pressure on it from the US and the "international community" to implement a cease-fire and broker a deal (i.e. a prisoner swap) with the terrorists. If Israel can find, snatch and grab its kidnapped soldiers, namely through a commando-style operation, Israel can convincingly declare victory in this round of combat and pull back its forces. This would be the best outcome, for Israel and hence for our side in the war.

I hope Israel can manage this...and if any nation's armed forces can pull off a commando master stroke, it's Israel. But time is limited. The longer this situation drags on, the more the odds grow against the Jewish state.

Say a prayer for Israel tonight. Israel fights for its freedom and our own as well.

A letter from the front

This US Army lieutenant, Lt. Cotton of Texas, USA, on duty in the combat zone, writes this scathing letter about the Traitor Times (AKA the New York Times).

Dear Messrs. Keller, Lichtblau & Risen:

Congratulations on disclosing our government's highly classified anti-terrorist-financing program (June 23). I apologize for not writing sooner. But I am a lieutenant in the United States Army and I spent the last four days patrolling one of the more dangerous areas in Iraq. (Alas, operational security and common sense prevent me from even revealing this unclassified location in a private medium like email.)

Unfortunately, as I supervised my soldiers late one night, I heard a booming explosion several miles away. I learned a few hours later that a powerful roadside bomb killed one soldier and severely injured another from my 130-man company. I deeply hope that we can find and kill or capture the terrorists responsible for that bomb. But, of course, these terrorists do not spring from the soil like Plato's guardians. No, they require financing to obtain mortars and artillery shells, priming explosives, wiring and circuitry, not to mention for training and payments to locals willing to emplace bombs in exchange for a few months' salary. As your story states, the program was legal, briefed to Congress, supported in the government and financial industry, and very successful.

Not anymore. You may think you have done a public service, but you have gravely endangered the lives of my soldiers and all other soldiers and innocent Iraqis here. Next time I hear that familiar explosion — or next time I feel it — I will wonder whether we could have stopped that bomb had you not instructed terrorists how to evade our financial surveillance.

And, by the way, having graduated from Harvard Law and practiced with a federal appellate judge and two Washington law firms before becoming an infantry officer, I am well-versed in the espionage laws relevant to this story and others — laws you have plainly violated. I hope that my colleagues at the Department of Justice match the courage of my soldiers here and prosecute you and your newspaper to the fullest extent of the law. By the time we return home, maybe you will be in your rightful place: not at the Pulitzer announcements, but behind bars.

Very truly yours,
Tom Cotton

Happy Birthday USA

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA! 230 years and still going strong. May you always smite your enemies and extol the values of Truth, Justice and the American Way. The latest Superman movie is too chicken-sh** to say that, but I'm not.

Compare the astounding success of America to the sorry track record of Islam, which has done nothing in 14 centuries other than spread terror, fear, aggression, intolerance, backwardness, violence, mayhem and murder.

America, AKA the "Great Satan" to Muslims everywhere, is celebrating another birthday tomorrow. American, a beacon of hope for humanity and the world, has done more good and brought more joy to more people in its lifetime than the loathesome EU, UN, OIC, or the Arab League could ever dream to accomplish. God bless America!
