President Bush - Famous Quotes on Islam By an Idiot

He said it!

"Some of the comments that have been uttered about Islam do not reflect the sentiments of my government or the sentiments of most Americans. Islam, as practiced by the vast majority of people, is a peaceful religion, a religion that respects others. Ours is a country based upon tolerance and we welcome people of all faiths in America."

-Remarks by President George W. Bush in a statement to reporters during a meeting with U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan
The Oval Office, Washington, DC
November 13, 2002

"Islam is a vibrant faith. Millions of our fellow citizens are Muslim. We respect the faith. We honor its traditions. Our enemy does not. Our enemy doesn't follow the great traditions of Islam. They've hijacked a great religion."

-Remarks by President George W. Bush on U.S. Humanitarian Aid to Afghanistan
Presidential Hall, Dwight David Eisenhower Executive Office Building, Washington, D.C.

The Obama Muslim Shell Game: Catholic School Docs Show Obama Registered As Muslim

2007-01-30 -- [WDC News Post] -- WASH—Jan 25—DJNS—Associated Press has revealed that Senator Barack Hussein Obama, Democratic candidate for President of the United States, attend a Catholic school in Indonesia registered as a Muslim, further clouding the issue of where Obama was schooled in Indonesia and when. Obama, by his own admission in books that he has written, has said that he attended a Catholic school and a Muslim school while living in Indonesia with his atheist mother and Muslim stepfather. But now that Fox News reported that Obama may have been indoctrinated in Islamic teachings while attending the Muslim school in Indonesia , he and his handlers have gone spinning the story to the news media, and their stories do not match up.

Obama is claiming that the allegations by Fox are “scurrilous” and that he believes people “recognize that the notion that me going to school in Indonesia for two years at a public school there at the age of 7 and 8 is probably not going to be endangering in some way the people of America.” Associated Press is reporting that the Muslim school Obama attended is a public school, open to people of all faiths—this according to the spokesman for Indonesia’s Ministry of Religious affairs who goes only by the name of “Sutopo.” Records show that Obama attended a Catholic school first and then the Muslim school. When he was ten years old, he moved to Hawaii and attended a private secular school.

There are many holes in Obama’s story. First, if he attended the Muslim school when he was seven and eight, which school did he attend when he was nine and ten, if he first attended the Catholic school? There appears to be a gap in his education or a miscommunication about what school he attended and when he attended it. Associated Press reports that Obama’s mother relocated to Indonesia from 1967-71 after marrying Obama’s Muslim step-father—who Obama claims was no longer Muslim, but an atheist. The Catholic school, Fransiskus Assisis, where Obama first attended school, enrollment documents, however, show Obama enrolled as a Muslim, the religion of his stepfather.

Obama’s spokesman Robert Gibbs says he isn’t sure why the Catholic school document had Obama listed as a Muslim. Gibbs told AP, “Senator Obama has never been a Muslim.” While the spokesman is denying that Obama was never a Muslim, Obama, himself, has not publicly said he was never and is not now a Muslim.

What can Americans expect of a Muslim-educated Obama? AP writes of its interviews at the Muslim school in Indonesia, “Those tied to the school say they are proud to have had a student like Obama, and hope that, if he is elected president, his ties to Indonesia will broaden his world perspective and his views on religion.” Indonesia is home to some of the most radical Islamic schools in the world. And Obama’s identity is yet to be revealed as the confusing doubletalk hides the real Barack Hussein Obama, Democratic candidate for President of the United States .

Barack Hussein Obama: “I will stand with [the Muslims] should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

Let's empty out that closet, Barak Hussein Obama. Are you a Muslim?
Malcolm X, racist who despises white people, is his hero. Barak Hussein, come clean about your past.

Can a past of Islam change the path to president for Obama?

WASHINGTON - Although Sen. Barack Obama is a Christian, his childhood and family connections to Islam are beginning to complicate his presidential ambitions.

The Illinois Democrat spent much of last week refuting unfounded reports that he had been educated in a madrassa, or radical Islamic school, when he lived in Indonesia as a boy.

“The Indonesian school Obama attended in Jakarta is a public school that is not and never has been a Madrassa,” said a statement put out by the senator’s staff.

But the school did teach the Quran, Islam’s holy book, along with subjects such as math and science, according to Obama, who attended when he was 9 and 10.

“In Indonesia, I had spent two years at a Muslim school,” he wrote in his first memoir, “Dreams from my Father.” “The teacher wrote to tell my mother that I made faces during Koranic studies.”

Obama — whose father, stepfather, brother and grandfather were Muslims — explained his own first name, Barack, in “Dreams”: “It means ‘Blessed.’ In Arabic. My grandfather was a Muslim.”

In his second memoir, “The Audacity of Hope,” Obama added: “Although my father had been raised a Muslim, by the time he met my mother he was a confirmed atheist.”

Still, when his father, a black Kenyan named Barack Obama Sr., died in 1982, “the family wanted a Muslim burial,” Obama quoted his brother, Roy, as saying in “Dreams.”

The statement put out by Obama’s office last week referred to his father simply as “an atheist,” without mentioning his Muslim upbringing.

But with pundits already making faith a major issue in this presidential campaign — as evidenced by questions about Republican Mitt Romney’s Mormonism — Obama’s religious background is likely to come under further scrutiny.

“He comes from a father who was a Muslim,” said civil rights author Juan Williams of National Public Radio. “I mean, I think that given we’re at war with Muslim extremists, that presents a problem.”

Obama’s grandfather, Hussein Onyango Obama, for whom the senator was given his middle name, Hussein, was fiercely devoted to Islam, according to an account in “Dreams.” The grandfather, who died in 1979, was described by his widow when Obama visited Kenya in the late 1980s.

“What your grandfather respected was strength. Discipline,” Obama quoted his grandmother as telling him. “This is also why he rejected the Christian religion, I think.

“For a brief time, he converted, and even changed his name to Johnson. But he could not understand such ideas as mercy towards your enemies, or that this man Jesus could wash away a man’s sins.

“To your grandfather, this was foolish sentiment, something to comfort women,” she added. “And so he converted to Islam — he thought its practices conformed more closely to his beliefs.”

When Obama was 2 years old, his parents divorced and his father moved away from the family’s home in Hawaii. Four years later, his mother married an Indonesian man, Lolo Soetoro, who moved his new wife and stepson to Jakarta.

“During the five years that we would live with my stepfather in Indonesia, I was sent first to a neighborhood Catholic school and then to a predominately Muslim school,” Obama wrote in “Audacity.” “In our household, the Bible, the Koran, and the Bhagavad Gita sat on the shelf.”

Obama’s stepfather was a practicing Muslim.

“Lolo followed a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths,” Obama recalled. “He explained that a man took on the powers of whatever he ate: One day soon, he promised, he would bring home a piece of tiger meat for us to share.”

“It was to Lolo that I turned to for guidance and instruction,” Obama recalled. “He introduced me as his son.”

Although Obama wrote of “puzzling out the meaning of the muezzin’s call to evening prayer,” he was not raised as a Muslim, according to the senator’s office. Nor was he raised as a Christian by his mother, a white American named Ann Dunham who was deeply skeptical of religion.

“Her memories of the Christians who populated her youth were not fond ones,” Obama wrote. “For my mother, organized religion too often dressed up closed-mindedness in the garb of piety, cruelty and oppression in the cloak of righteousness.”

As a result, he said, “I was not raised in a religious household.”

Later in life, however, he was drawn to the writings of an influential American Muslim who served as the spokesman for the militant Nation of Islam.

Malcolm X’s autobiography seemed to offer something different,” Obama wrote. “His repeated acts of self-creation spoke to me; the blunt poetry of his words, his unadorned insistence on respect, promised a new and uncompromising order, martial in its discipline, forged through sheer force of will.” [Disgusting. I have read Malcolm's biography years ago and it is hateful to whites to the extreme. Thanks for letting us whites know how you admire him.]

He added: “Malcolm’s discovery toward the end of his life, that some whites might live beside him as brothers in Islam, seemed to offer some hope of eventual reconciliation.”

While working as a community organizer for a group of churches in Chicago, Obama was repeatedly asked to join Christian congregations, but begged off.

“I remained a reluctant skeptic, doubtful of my own motives, wary of expedient conversion, having too many quarrels with God to accept a salvation too easily won,” he wrote.

But after much soul searching, he eventually was baptized at Trinity United Church of Christ.

“It came about as a choice and not an epiphany; the questions I had did not magically disappear,” he explained. “But kneeling beneath that cross on the South Side of Chicago, I felt God’s spirit beckoning me. I submitted myself to His will, and dedicated myself to discovering His truth.”

Obama’s family connections to Islam would endure, however. For example, his brother Roy opted for Islam over Christianity, as Obama recounted when describing his 1992 wedding.

“The person who made me proudest of all,” Obama wrote, “was Roy. Actually, now we call him Abongo, his Luo name, for two years ago he decided to reassert his African heritage. He converted to Islam, and has sworn off pork and tobacco and alcohol.”

Meanwhile, Obama remained sharply critical of what he called “the religious absolutism of the Christian right.”

In “Audacity,” the senator wrote that such believers insist “not only that Christianity is America’s dominant faith, but that a particular, fundamentalist brand of that faith should drive public policy, overriding any alternative source of understanding, whether the writings of liberal theologians, the findings of the National Academy of Sciences, or the words of Thomas Jefferson.”

As for the Democratic Party, Obama observed that “a core segment of our constituency remains stubbornly secular in orientation, and fears — rightly, no doubt — that the agenda of an assertively Christian nation may not make room for them or their life choices.”

Although the overwhelming majority of Americans describe themselves as Christians, Obama does not believe that any one religion should define the United States.“We are no longer just a Christian nation,” he argues in “Audacity,” which was published last year. “We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers.”

Obama calls the Iraq war “a botched and ill-advised U.S. military incursion into a Muslim country.” He is also protective of civil rights for Muslims in the U.S.

“In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans … have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging,” he laments. “I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

Skeletons in Barak Hussein Obama's Closet Begin Falling Out

Just as I suspected, Barak Hussein Obama's whitewashed autobiography is being proven to be just that, a whitewash and a coverup. So who in the MSM is going to start digging for the truth? Is Obama still a Muslim? When did he declare his apostasy? Does he associate with his brother, who is now a Muslim? Where does his brother worship the MoonGod? Has he written about his belief?

Secrets of Obama family unlocked - TimesOnline

A drunk and a bigot - what the US Presidental hopeful HASN'T said about his father...

Obama, 45, has two half- sisters, one living in Britain, and five surviving half-brothers, the eldest of whom converted to Islam, and whose stories span the globe.

Suryakusuma, 53, one of Indonesia’s most outspoken feminist writers, has fearlessly taken on extremist Muslim clerics in print. Last week she described Ann Dunham, Obama’s mother, “as a liberal and a humanist”, who learnt to speak fluent Indonesian and adored the culture. [In other words, a liberal extremist - Western culture is no better than the crappy Islam culture]

Dunham was from Wichita, Kansas, but her parents moved to Hawaii in search of a better life. According to Obama, a distant ancestor was a “full-blooded Cherokee”.

Dunham’s first marriage was to a Kenyan [Muslim} student, also called Barack Obama, but he left the family to study at Harvard and returned to Africa.

She went on to marry Lolo Soetoro, another foreign [Muslim] student, and moved to his native Indonesia with six-year-old Barack in 1967, after the new dictator Suharto summoned the country’s citizens home.

Soetoro became a government relations consultant with a big US oil company. “He changed when he came back to Indonesia,” Suryakusuma recalled. “Men can be a certain way when they are in the West and when they come back they are sucked into their own culture.”

In his memoir, Dreams from My Father, first published in 1995, Obama does not conceal the estrangement between his mother and stepfather as Soetoro made compromises with Indonesia’s power elite. They divorced and he died decades later of a liver complaint.

Yet there are details in Obama’s life that have yet to be subjected to full scrutiny. It may not be the information itself that matters, according to Galston, but “how Obama talks about the facts as they emerge and handles questions and controversies”.

The Chicago Sun-Times columnist Lynn Sweet was the first to spot in 2004, when Obama burst on the national stage at the Democratic party convention, that his memoir, Dreams from My Father, contained “composite” characters and changed names.

“Except for public figures and his family, it is impossible to know who is real and who is not,” she pointed out.

Obama admitted as much in his introduction, saying he had altered characters “for the sake of their privacy”. As with the revelation that he took cocaine in his youth, he appears to have been candid about potential areas of controversy.

Obama’s African family is particularly complicated. By his own account, his father never really left Kezia, his first wife, in Kenya. She bore Obama Sr two children, Roy and Auma, who now works in social services in Berkshire.

They were separated, Obama’s mother claimed, but “it was a village wedding and there was no document that could suggest a divorce”.

His own father and mother’s wedding in Hawaii may not have been properly documented either. “How and when the marriage occurred remains a bit murky, a bill of particulars that I have never quite had the courage to explore,” Obama writes in his memoir.

After his father left Ann and two-year-old Barack to study at Harvard, he went to Africa with another American woman, Ruth, who became his third wife. She bore him two sons in Kenya, one of whom died in a motorcycle accident, but Obama Sr continued to see Kezia. [Naturally, he can have four wives as a Muslim.]

“Traditionally, she was still his wife,” a relative explained. Kezia went on to bear two more sons, Abo and Bernard. Although their paternity is disputed by some relatives, Obama Sr regarded them as his own. Later in life, he fathered another son, George, by a young Kenyan woman. [OK, that's four. Gotta stop.]

After his parents split up, Obama saw his father only once before learning that he had died in a car crash in Kenya in 1982.

Obama’s eldest brother Roy moved to America and went on to convert to Islam. {Where is he? Is he preaching 'kill the infidels' in some 'religion of peace' military indoctrination center, AKA a madrassah?]

From This is London....

Family members and acquaintances believe that the real cloud over Mr Obama's life has been the discovery that his father was far from the romantic figure that his mother tried to portray.

A family friend said: "He is haunted by his father's failures. He grew up thinking of his father as a brilliant intellectual and pioneer of African independence only to learn that in Western terms he was basically a drunken lecher."

This ugly truth, say friends, has made Mr Obama ruthlessly determined to use every weapon that he has to succeed, including the glossily edited version of his father's story.

"At the end of the day Barack wants the story to help his political cause, so perhaps he couldn't afford to be too honest," said Ochieng.

Significantly, it was only four years after his father's death that Mr Obama travelled to his father's ancestral Kenyan village. There he learned the full story of his father's life and met some of his relatives.

One of his half-sisters, Auma, is now a council worker in southern England, but some of his other relatives are still living in huts in the village, without plumbing or electricity, farming a few scrawny goats and chicken and growing fruit and maize.

They speak the tribal Luo language and depend on handouts from family members who have emigrated to the UK and the United States for their few luxuries, notably the transistor radios that they use to follow Mr Obama's rocketing political fortunes.

He has positioned himself as a devout Christian (having found God, he says, after years as an atheist) and in a new book The Audacity Of Hope, timed to coincide with his campaign, he concentrates on his manifesto for 'reclaiming the American dream'.

This tome contains one telling paragraph, in a section in which he fumbles to try to justify his abrupt leap into the national political arena: he is, he says, chronically 'restless'.

"Someone once said that every man is trying to either live up to his father's expectations or make up for his father's mistakes, and I suppose that may explain my particular malady."

The Enemy takes note of us (again)

The Other Side has (once again) taken note of our humble little blog here. Even though our readership is comparitively tiny, especially compared to giants in the cyber-counterjihad like LGF and Powerline, sometimes our Islamic Enemies notice us. Of course, that means we're doing our job.

Quiet jihadist, Fifth Columnist and terrorist apologist Sheila Musaji over at "The American Muslim" (TAM) has recently compiled a list of, ahem, "Islamophobia - Alarming statements 3 - 2006 to 2007." We're honored to have been added to that list, with not one but two of our blog posts at the very top of the "Islamophobic" blog list. In case you're too pressed for time to follow the link, here are our two award-winning money quotes with the Official TAM Islam-o-phobic 'Seal of Approval':

- We have several million Muslims in the US and all of them are terrorists, some use the tonque and the pen, not bombs, but all are scheming liars deceiving the naive infidels and our stupid leaders. Why don’t we BAN ISLAM and deport all Muslims? Political correctness and multiculturalism will destroy the West.
- Comparing Hitler’s Mein Kampf to the Qur’an “Commenters have noted the remarkable similarities between the two, and indeed, the resemblances are more than skin deep and are worth examining in more detail. A closer look at the facts reveals that Islam (not ‘Islamism’) and Nazism are two kindred ideologies with many, many commonalities."

Fellow co-blogger and ally Alwaysonwatch also gets an honorable mention on this same list. Great work!

As for us, we're very happy to be put on a list that has the names of many other luminaries in the counterjihad, including (but not limited to) Robert Spencer, Hugh Fitzgerald, Brigitte Gabriel, Ann Coulter, Franklin Graham, and many other giants who are fighting the Evil of the Ages.

Thus encouraged, we the Islam-o-phobes of Pedestrian Infidel humbly accept this honor and would like to thank our enemies at "The American Muslim" for this recognition. "TAM" is an oxymoronic name if I ever heard one!

The Destruction of Europe: Burn Baby Burn

We constantly point out the suicide pact that Europe has made with Islam. In my lifetime, I will have seen the zenith of Europe, and the fall of Europe. How can a civilization destroy itself in a mere 60 years. Climb the peaks of freedom and wealth, only to fall off that peak into the abyss of islam and exterminate their culture, their children's future, without a fight. "They're nuts, right wing extremists, Islamhaters" the liberals chant. They ridicule us. Liberals always do. Deny the reality before their eyes, and punish those who say 'I told you so.'

HatTip: View from the Right

Case in point: City on Fire - Burning the Roots of Western Culture
From Larry Auster - View from the Right -

The purpose of the exhibit, its creators Thyra Hilden and Pio Diaz tell us, is to invoke the destruction, and the destructiveness, of Western culture.

So, based on recent postings at VFR, here’s a partial sketch of the cultural lay of the land at the moment, going from left to, uh, “right.”

We’ve got Diaz and Hilden in mainstream museum events invoking the all-out Nihilism of Destruction against European civilization: “We want to die, we want our culture to go out of existince, we want to be taken over by Muslims—faster, please!”

To the right of Hilden and Diaz, we’ve got the moderate liberal Francis Fukuyama, who, concerned about the threat to the West posed by unassimilable Muslims, makes rhetorical moves in the direction of a renewed Western cultural identity, which turns out to be the same pallid universalist liberalism that permitted the Muslims to enter the West in the first place.

To the right of Fukuyama, we’ve got the newly minted social conservative Dinesh D’Souza who bracingly calls for the West to return to moral traditionalism, and who says the main way this traditionalism should manifest itself is by forming an alliance with traditional Muslims against the Western left, and, nota bene, by never criticizing Islam, because that might make our Muslim friends want to mass-murder us. D’Souza’s “social conservatism” is thus identical in its key features to the dhimmi pact.

And finally, to the right of D’Souza, we’ve got the Churchillian British conservative Leo McKinstry, who calls on the British people to defy the Muslim enemy and spit in his teeth and never surrender and, and … to keep letting him invade Britain.

Here is an excerpt from the City of Fire website (Note how they despise Western civilization and see no redeeming values in it.)-

City on Fire is a Symbolic, Iconoclastic project in which the ‘image’ itself – or the monument - is not destroyed but where the ideas of the history the monument represents are broken down in the symbolic burning.
As opposed to real iconoclasts, City on Fire does not wish to destroy or eradicate the actual monument or painting in question. Instead, the project wishes to destroy symbolic paintings tied in with the cultural history of the monument (and the cultural history of the people), hoping to create new awareness of our common Western cultural history and its destructive side through this symbolic destruction. Destructive sides that belong not only to history but live and flourish even today: Denmark and large parts of the Western world are at war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

City on Fire has roots in the Futuristic tradition where destruction was hailed as the only possible way forward for humanity. City on Fire represents more of a symbolic ‘Futurism’, however, where the destruction is not physical but symbolical. It is not actual fire that destroys actual buildings – but the idea of fire that destroys the historical and ideological roots of Western culture.

Imagine the dhimmis visiting this view into their future, and admiring it, cheering it own. Cultural genocide in realtime.

In war, who do you trust?

Today, as I was writing this post, I almost didn’t want to. There is already so much gloom in our neck of the blogosphere that adding this post can only reinforce the feelings of despair I am seeing in the ranks of--for lack of a better term--the “Cyber-Counterjihad”. Writing this post is not just discouraging for me, but it might be discouraging to all else who see this (except our enemies, and the Muslims of course). Before I continue, I just want to say that because of security reasons, I cannot provide any direct reference or link to the material I quote here, nor can I mention any names. Anyway, let’s continue.

Some months ago, I met another Pakistani through my Christian friends here in Dubai. According to them, my fellow Pakistani had converted to Christianity nine years ago while he was in Texas (that’s right!!) and was growing in his new faith. I was very happy to meet him and encouraged to meet another Christian and former Muslim like myself. I already knew that I wasn’t alone in what I had done, but meeting someone like me for the first time in person was even more heartening. I talked with the guy for about ten minutes before he left to get ready for his trip back to Pakistan the very next day. I told my Christian friend, who is an American, that this meeting had increased my faith and my confidence. It was a very happy day for me.

But, after a couple of months, when I met with my American friend again, he told me that that other Pakistani apostate was gradually slipping back into Islam. Hearing that news was devastating--I was heartbroken and mad at the same time. Heartbroken because he was the first person I had met who was like me and now, after nine years, he chose to go back to darkness, ignorance and barbarity—and mad because I couldn’t believe my own stupidity when I trusted him. Now I was reluctant to go see even my American friends, but I still go see them because that’s the only place I can actually read the Bible.

Anyway, some days ago, I came across the blog of that Pakistani and read the following in one of his recent posts (copied below in its original form):

The night before the Eid, I was glue to my television following the news that Saddam Hussein could be hanged any time now. The sentenced was given five days ago, which said that he should be executed within 30 days. The sudden announcement that he would be hanged just before 6am on the day of Eid for Muslims upset and angered me. From all the days of the 30 days, they had to do it on the day of Eid. Why not after? It seemed like a deliberate calculated step on the part of the so called new Iraqi government, who we all know is controlled by outside influence, to hang Saddam on Eid day to upset all Muslims, regardless if they were supporters or anti-Saddam. I didn't support him. I thought he was a mad man. But to hurt the sensibilities of Muslims on their most joyous occasions is asking for too much. It would be akin to hanging President Bush (who should be tried for crimes for humanity as well) on Christmas day.
This type of a comment wouldn’t normally bother me, but having it come from another (supposed) Christian and former Muslim, it upset me a lot.

However, what really makes me reluctant to write about this, is that this guy, who says he has been a Christian for nine years, appears to have reverted back to Islam. Worse yet, while this is obvious to all of us, he may not even realize it. Not only has he done that, but he also has taken a Muslim/Leftist stance when an evil dude is hanged—and the guilty don’t get any more guilty than Saddam was (may he rot in hell). When I asked him, via the net, what he meant above by ‘outside influence’ (even though I knew what his answer would be) and why the Muslims would be upset over the death of Saddam Hussein (or anyone like that), this was his response to me:

The Muslims were upset because they were all getting ready to celebrate the special occassion of Eid, of which the significance you clearly cannot comprehend. My main issue was not of whether to hang him or not, but why they had to hang them on Eid day. Why not hang him the day after? A lot of people questioned that act, not just me.
It makes me think, a Muslim is always a Muslim. I know that when I say this, I may be undercutting or destroying my own credibility as a former Muslim/apostate. But I’d rather see the West not trust anyone than trust someone like him who can later betray the very people that first protected him and still do—namely my friends here and his friends from Texas.

All I can say now after this sordid episode, is that trusting a Muslim, even one who claims he has converted to Christianity, any other non Muslim faith, or even atheism, can prove to be as suicidal as trusting a professing pious Muslim.

The Islamization of Europe

Someone in Europe is not idly sitting by as the (seemingly unstoppable) World Jihad goes on with its plotting of the destruction of non Muslim societies.A European blogger going by the name 'No Sharia' has authored a well-researched and carefully-written four-part series that examines this timely topic. If you have a few minutes, it's definitely worth your time:

Part 1: A theory of the Islamization process in European countries [07 Jan, 2007]
Part 2: A Theory of Policies and Laws That Prevents Islamization of a Country - An Integrated Approach [09 Jan, 2007]
Part 3: Reformation of Islam and Various Law and Policy Issues [12 Jan, 2007]
Part 4: Policy Area 4: Religious Freedom And Its Limits [22 Jan, 2007]

Have a look at 'No Sharia's" work, if you please, and let's support our fellow counter-jihadists. Remember, we can count on no true support from anyone other than ourselves.

UPDATE: We have new sidebar links to No Sharia's site, Islam Watch, and to this series. The website Islam Watch looks like another excellent online resource about the Threat that we are all going to be grappling with for the rest of our lives.

DPRK Update

The friend of the World Jihad in Northeast Asia, namely North Korea, is (by many accounts) having a rough winter this year.

How rough?

Apparently, it's so bad just 100km away from where I sit, that there are rumors that the (all but) inevitable DPRK collapse is coming sooner, rather than later. Now there's the 'weapon' the South Koreans and the Chinese truly fear--millions of North Koreans, starving and desperate, swarming over their pathetic excuse of a state's northern and southern borders. The Chinese fear the social instability those starving masses will bring to their country. And the South Koreans? They fear the enormous costs of being stuck indefinitely with taking care of legions of their impoverished Nork brothers, which could happen literally overnight.

Here's whats happening that is bring the DPRK ever closer to total collapse (all quotes below via StrategyPage):

While China is shipping the same amount of oil to North Korea, in 2006, as it did in 2005, food exports are down by about half (some 210,000 tons less). A lot less food is getting into North Korea, and because last years crops were below average, the population is expected to come through this Winter in very bad shape. Planners in South Korea now fear a flood of three million starving refugees (headed into China and South Korea), if the North Korean government collapses in the near future. Plans are being made on how to deal with such large numbers of malnourished refugees.

And the US is ratcheting up the pressure on the criminals (the government) in Pyongyang:
In response to U.S. accusations, the UN has halted transfers of hard currency to North Korea, and begun an audit of how UN aid money is spent in North Korea. The UN acted so promptly largely because North Korea has an extensive history of government sponsored, and directed, criminal behavior.

China is also not standing idly by and putting all their eggs in those useless "six-party talks".
There is increasing Chinese diplomatic and political activity inside North Korea, and many rumors that officers from the North Korean security forces, backed by China, are plotting to overthrow the government. Interestingly, even with all these stories going around, there have been no arrests in the north. There is, however, a growing unease on the streets, among the North Korean people.

Watch this space. It's going to get more interesting in this neck of the woods, one way or another.

The Australian government, whose leaders have invited Muslims who believe religious law should trump the nation's secular constitution to leave, now has launched an investigation into recordings of messages urging Muslims to kill enemies of Islam.

According to a report in the daily newspaper The Australian, members of the Federal Police force have begun looking into the DVD recordings by Sheik Feiz Mohamed. They collected a copy of the recordings recently from a 4,000-member Muslim youth center founded by Mohamed.

Officers who arrived at the Global Islamic Youth Center at Liverpool, in Sydney's western suburbs, declined to comment, but Muslims are defending even the references to violence and martyrdom in the messages.

Australian leaders, as WND has reported, have taken a much harder stance than leaders in other free nations against those would suggest that Islamic law, or Sharia, should be observed.

Prime Minister John Howard has said he believes activities of those in Australia's mosques should be monitored, citing a need for the government to know if members of the Islamic community supported or taught violence.

"We have a right to know whether there is, within any section of the Islamic community, a preaching of the virtues of terrorism, whether any comfort or harbour is given to terrorism within that community," Howard told Australian radio earlier.

Education Minister Brendan Nelson said those members of the Islamic faith who do not support Australian values are welcome to leave. Treasurer Peter Costello, who is seen as heir apparent to Howard, also has made similar suggestions about those who do not accept Australia's Constitution and the laws created by its parliament.

"If those are not your values, if you want a country which has Sharia law or a theocratic state, then Australia is not for you," he said.

He continued: "I'd be saying to clerics who are teaching that there are two laws governing people in Australia, one the Australian law and another the Islamic law, that that is false. If you can't agree with parliamentary law, independent courts, democracy, and would prefer Sharia law and have the opportunity to go to another country which practices it, perhaps, then, that's a better option."

Mohamed, who was described as a "firebrand" in one report, has defended the messages on the DVD, which call children to jihad, urge Muslims to kill enemies of Islam and praise martyrs. The messages include a statement that inmates at Guantanamo Bay, where those suspected of being involved in Islamic terrorism are detained, are "better" than Muslims in Australia, who would not forsake their lifestyles for martyrdom.

"The brothers in Cuba are better than us," the newspaper quoted him saying. "They are being examined through the best examination (a reference to God's judgment)."

Mohamed, who now lives in Lebanon after leaving Australia in 2005, said his followers should seek the honorable death of a believer.

"They fight in the cause, they kill others – the enemies who fight Islam and they themselves are killed as martyrs," he said.

He gives the example of a mujaheddin who fought in Bosnia in the 1990s who spoke of nothing but jihad and was killed on the battlefield.

"What a beautiful person to be associated with. Would you not like to be an associate of this person?"

The messages were recorded several years ago, officials said, and tell Muslims how they should live their lives.

"This is our intention that we want to have children and offer them as soldiers defending Islam, loving Islam," Mohamed said.

A former student of Muhamed, Zeky Mallah, described the sermon as "normal with any Islamic scholar."

Muhamed denied to the Australian that his jihad references meant violence. But the newspaper reported the DVD is "littered" with references to violence and a call to arms.

In a previous controversy over Muslim interactions with Australian law, WND reported that an imam justified the rape of unveiled women, after a 16-year-old girl was viciously assaulted.

"The problem all began with who?" Sheik Taj el-Dene Elhilaly said earlier in a Sydney mosque, referring to the women victims – whom he said were "weapons used by Satan."

The sheik said: "If you take out uncovered meat and place it outside on the street, or in the garden or in the park, or in the backyard without a cover, and the cats come and eat it ... whose fault is it, the cats or the uncovered meat?

"The uncovered meat is the problem. If she was in her room, in her home, in her hijab, no problem would have occurred," he said.

Australia, which has supported the worldwide war on terror, also has had other controversies over Islam within its borders. WND has reported that two Christian Australian pastors were handed convictions – and later saw those convictions overturned – of "vilifying" Muslims when they quoted from the Quran during a seminar on jihad.

Condi Pledges $770 Million Jizya for Lebanon, 2000% Increase

Does it warm your heart to know that we cannot afford to defend our borders, let alone build a fence, but have no problem spending billions in jizya to Muslims who are rude to our face, and busily stab us when we turn? What fools and dhimmis run this country, or is that ruin this country? WE are going to pay for rebuilding their country for a war started by a terrorist organization that is part of their government. Why don't we give HAMAS jizya too? Let the jizya flow, bleed the infidels dry Condi! I really don't know what to say. It is stupidity with a capital 'S.'

U.S. pledge for Lebanon rebuilding totals almost $770 million

PARIS (AP) — The United States will pledge almost $770 million to help rebuild Lebanon and support its fragile government, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Wednesday.
The money is more than three times as much as last year's U.S. pledge, reflecting Lebanon's rebuilding needs after a 34-day war between Israel and Hezbollah militants and the perilous condition of the Western-backed government in Beirut.

Rice told reporters flying with her that the money will be part of international pledges that analysts have said will total $5 billion at a conference starting in Paris on Thursday.

Much of the U.S. money comes with strings attached. The government of Prime Minister Fuad Saniora will get the money only as it meets standards for political and financial reform.

The money, which must be approved by Congress, also contains funds for spare parts, small arms and other military hardware. The administration will request the funds in a bill President Bush will propose.

Last year's pledge for Lebanon was $230 million. Before that, U.S. aid to Lebanon ranged $30 million to $40 million per year.

"Barry (Barak Obama) was previously quite religious in Islam.

Uh oh, more dirt about the apostate Barak Obama coming out. I think there is a story there, and certainly it will not go away. Lots of questions to ask the apostate Obama.

FROM website

Obama Hoisted On His Own Petard

One would like to think that Barack Obama's advisors would have the common sense to tell him to be honest and forthcoming with the American people concerning his childhood growing up in Indonesia.

Instead and quite foolishly Obama has decided to go now on the offensive and deny any of the allegations he claims are made against him.

ABC news now reports that Obama will go on a campaign to debunk the madrassa claim allegations

And in debunking the madrassa claim allegations Obama once again lies to the American people and denies that he ever was a Muslim.

"Obama defended his education at "Sekolah Dasar Negeri 04," which roughly translates as government elementary school No. 4 in Indonesia, where he moved at the age of 6 after his mother married an Indonesian man. After two years at the government elementary school, Obama transferred to a Catholic school."

As we reported below, the truth is that Barack Hussein Obama aka "Barry Soetoro" first registered for school at the Franciscan Asisi Primary School on 1 January 1968. He then attended Asisi Primary School for 3 years before finally transfering to Besuki Primary School and then departing to the United States.

Obama didn't transfer to the Catholic school, the transfered from it.

"To be clear, Senator Obama has never been a Muslim, was not raised a Muslim and is a committed Christian," said Obama's communications director Robert Gibbs in a statement today...[sic]"

Obama's school registration records from Asisi Primary School in Indonesia list his religion as Islam.

Further, Several of Obama's classmates including Emirsyah Satar the CEO of Garuda Indonesia Airlines describe a young Obama as a very religious and devout Muslim.

On 22 January 2007, Emirsyah Satar stated:

"Saat itu, dia memang beragama Islam namun setelah menikah dengan Michelle, dia pindah agama."

The English translation is as follows:

"At that time, he was quite religious in Islam but after marrying Michelle, he changed his religion."

Other classmates of Obama have made similar claims to the Indonesian media, claiming that Obama was very religious and devout Muslim in his youth.

The issue at the moment, quite clearly is not whether or not he was raised as a Muslim or whether he attended a madrassa as a child. While it might be considered a handicap for a presidential candidate in a post 9/11 world, surely Americans would accept that he is now a Christian and no longer a Muslim.

The issue is and the only question Americans need to ask themselves is this:

Is Barack Hussein Obama being honest and forthright with the American people?

England Plans to Bus By Force White Children to Muslim Dominated Schools for Early Dhimmitude Lessons

From the Daily Mail. Isn't this hysterical! Have you ever seen so many dhimmis runing around with their heads cut off in your life? Exactly what are these Muslim dominated public schools doing? Plotting the dhimmi's extinction? Heavens no.

Muslim majority schools 'pose security threat and should be closed'
Last updated at 10:59am on 22nd January 2007

The concentration of ethnic minorities and religious groups in certain schools had created a 'strategic security problem'

An influential government education adviser said today that schools dominated by Muslim children should be closed and replaced with 'multi-faith' academies to integrate pupils.

Sir Cyril Taylor, chairman of the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust, said the concentration of ethnic minorities and religious groups in certain schools had created a 'strategic security problem'.

He said that allowing significant numbers of ethnic minority children to lead virtually separate lives was fuelling extremism and harming academic standards.

The call for forced integration came as a Government commissioned report is this week set to recommend that values such as justice and tolerance should be at the centre of citizenship classes for secondary pupils.

The citizenship curriculum review by former headmaster and Home Office adviser Sir Keith Ajegbo is expected to conclude that more emphasis should be placed on British identity and more must be done to proved the 'essential glue' that holds society together.

The SSAT has identified 20 urban areas it says could benefit from the closure of comprehensives dominated by a particular ethnic group.

Sir Cyril said: "In some parts of the country, for example, where children only speak Bangla at home and do not mix with other communities at school, it has become a real strategic security problem.

"They would be much more likely to collaborate with the police and tell them [whether] people within their own community are doing things they shouldn't be doing if they were better integrated.

"Where you have two schools, one that is predominantly white and the other that is majority Bangladeshi or Pakistani, the answer is to close them both and put them together in a new academy operating on a multifaith basis."

When Europe Goes Islamic, What Will America Do?

Europe will be an Islamic nation within the next 50 years. And not much a a battle will occur. Channel 4's mosque expose shows how the Fifth Column is actively and openly plotting the demise of England. And hardly a ripple of dissent is heard from the political elite. Paris and all French cities are now surrounded by the Fifth Column. The same phenomena is happening in Brussels, the Netherlands, Germany and Spain. Yet the criticsm of Islam by the political elite is practically nil. As the European countries fall into the deathgrip of Islam, what will America do? Will we establish relations with the new Eurabian Caliphate? Will we continue to allow the Muslims to islamize America? Will we continue to allow Muslims to come to America? Will we continue to pretend it is a natural evolution of civilization? Is it fate that Islam will conquer the West? It is discouraging to see so many intellectuals eager to see the destruction of the West. Perhaps they believe they will have a favored seat in the new Caliphate? That is what a lot of the Euro elites believe. They have their cake, their wealth, their luxurious home and fine material goods. They don't believe Islam will impact their lifestyle because their money and favoritism by their new masters will assure the good life continues for them.

Europe is drowning in the Muslim cesspool they have dumped onto themselves. The elites are in their boats, merrily buzzing through the sludge, only occasionally commenting about the stench, but oblivious to their citizens who fear the Muslims. Europe has so few leaders of any integrity. The Europe I admired is sinking and all America can do is watch. Our leaders are ignorant and confused. To think the truth, to speak the truth is politically incorrect, so the West thrashes about, taking their final breath before they go under. Then what will America do?

Leftist retailer reaches bottom, keeps digging

Courtesy of Snopes (follow the above for link to the source):

Below is an actual, verified email exchange between a US service member and a company that sells different types of floor mats. US Army soldier Sergeant Jason Hess of the 1st Cavalry Division is currently stationed in Iraq (as of January 2007) and was inquiring as to whether or not the company, Discount Floor Mats of West Allis, Wisconsin, ships overseas. Sergeant Hess wanted to get the troops better gear to sleep on.

The following is the company's response...and you're not going to believe it.

From: SGT Jason Hess
Sent: Tue Jan 16 3:25

Do you ship to APO address? I'm in the 1st Cavalry Division stationed in Iraq and we are trying to order some mats but we are looking for who ships to APO first.

Sent: Tuiesday, January 16, 2007 9:44 PM
Subject: Re: Feedback: from

SGT Hess,
We do not ship to APO addresses, and even if we did, we would NEVER ship to Iraq. If you were sensible, you and your troops would pull out of Iraq.

Bargain Suppliers

Whether you agree with American operations in Iraq or not, this company's response to a routine inquiry (from a man who is honorably serving his country in a combat zone, no less) is simply outrageous.

I've included the email address of the offending company above, if you'd like to send these contemptable characters in Wisconsin a piece of your mind.

And please spread the word on this incident. Don't ever buy anything from Discount Mats!

A Warning to Christians

I am a Christian, but I do not attend church. I see a lot of Christian folly as they appease and 'dialogue' with Muslims. We know this folly because we have studied Islam, through the history of Islam and Muslims, their actions, their scholars. It's deception by a hundred names and tactics. That is why the Ch4 expose on what the mosques are preaching is so important, not only in England, but Europe, America and Australia. Still you have to wonder how many of those foolish Christians will consider it best to believe the lies and deny their eyes. All you have to do is read their scholars.

The BNP site had this letter to Christians by a concerned Christian. Isn't it ironic in America that the religious leaders looked down upon, like Falwell and Robertson, get it right and reject Islam as an Abrahamic faith; they consider Islam a false religion with an evil false prophet. Then all the elite institutes, Episcopalian, Presbyterian, Protestants, suck up to Islam. Why some Jews do, I will never understand.

A warning to Christians.

I do not attend church as often as I should, I nonetheless consider myself a Christian and regard Jesus Christ as my sole saviour and redeemer and I strive to live my life in accord with His teachings. To that end I turn the other cheek, I love my neighbour and I treat others, as I would like to be treated. But, it must also be recognised that we live in an imperfect world and there have to be limits to just how many times a cheek can be turned, for instance. Unfortunately I have learned this life experience the hard way, as they say, and although this may make me less of a Christian in some eyes I certainly don’t feel any less Christian as a consequence. Being a Christian does not require me to play the fool, at least not in my opinion. By that I mean serving Christ does not mean that I should recklessly entertain those who wish to do me and my kind harm. This brings me to the subject of Islam.

As a Christian the Lord teaches me to love my neighbour, a message brought to congregations in a thousand sermons, in a thousand churches, by those who, in the main, derive their experience of life not from the streets and workplaces – but from book theology and the relatively closeted and inward looking world of the Church itself. Should I love the neighbour who sets out to do me harm, should “love thy neighbour” be taken as an absolute commandment? I don’t think so although, admittedly, some do. I believe to do so would be folly and demonstrable folly at that.

This does not mean that you should hate such a neighbour, far from it. It means, in my opinion, you should recognise there are limitations to love and that such limitations are necessarily determined by commonsense exercised within the guiding context of our Christian teachings. Should one offer unlimited love on all occasions to the neighbour who seeks your destruction? Surely not! This is not the Biblical message as far as I am concerned. Yet this is precisely what the Church is doing by embracing Islam. It is holding to its naked bosom the viper that has reaffirmed its dedication, down the centuries, to the total destruction of our Christian Church. Its mission of oblivion for our Church, first formulated on the sands of Arabia and reaffirmed a million times since – even up until the present day – has not been moderated or even modified, far less rescinded at any time since!

The fact that the viper hasn’t bitten on the first occasion, or the second or, indeed, the hundredth is no guarantee of reciprocated brotherly love, anymore than it is a safeguard against that fatal bite – which will inevitably be struck - if that religion is to be true unto itself. For the Church to embrace Islam, even in its “moderate” form – which is, after all, merely the reverse of the same coin struck bearing its founding image of fundamentalism and intolerance - is to embrace its own destruction and constitutes folly, may I say, of biblical proportions.

The devil takes shapes in many ways to deceive those who believe in God.

An overextended Iranian Reich?

It appears that the Iranian Reich may have overplayed its hand. Its constant warlike rhetoric, consistently poor economic performance, and increasing international isolation are slowly but steadily wearing down the Mullahs in Teheran. Question is, is this all happening fast enough to serve American interests?

Consider the following snippets of information:

America Goes on the Offensive (via StrategyPage)

January 17, 2007: In the last month, Iran has become aware that the U.S. is deliberately hunting down Iranian agents inside Iraq. For most of the last year, Iran believed that it's high ranking contacts in the Iraqi government gave its men immunity. Certainly the Iraqi police would not touch them (the head of the national police, and Interior Ministry, was a pro-Iranian Iraqi Shia). But the Americans simply brush aside any Iraqi troops or police who get in the way, and grab Iranians. This is being done without much publicity at all. It's as if the Americans were just collecting evidence and building a case. A case for what?

U.S. Wonder Weapon Works Its Magic by James Dunnigan

January 18, 2007: The U.S. continues to use its dominant position in the world financial markets, to block Iranian attempts to maintain and improve its oil industry. Foreign companies interested in helping Iran maintain oil facilities, find themselves unable to arrange the financing. As a result, oil production is slowly declining, while local consumption (and very cheap prices) continues. At the current rate, Iran will have little, or no, oil to export in ten years. This kind of "weapon" does not work quickly, but it does work surely. Nuclear weapons could give the Iranians some muscle to help them block this stranglehold the U.S. has on them. It's not just the corruption of the religious dictatorship that is ruining the economy, its also the difficulty of bringing in foreigners to help fix it. With the threat of American financial regulators eventually nailing them, few foreign firms are willing to take the risk.

That American ‘wonder weapon’ seems to be having a noticeable effect on the Iranian economy. The Iranians are seeing it and they don’t like it.
In Iran, discontentment over president grows (AP via Newsweek)
Ahmadinejad's anti-U.S. focus and suffering economy has cost him support

Updated: 7:05 a.m. ET Jan. 18, 2007
TEHRAN, Iran - Prices for vegetables have tripled in the past month, housing prices have doubled since last summer — and as costs have gone up, so has Iranians’ discontent with hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his focus on confrontation with the West. Ahmadinejad was elected last year on a populist agenda promising to bring oil revenues to every family, eradicate poverty and tackle unemployment. Now he is facing increasingly fierce criticism for his failure to meet those promises. (more)

It seems a likely surmise that quietly, without fanfare, the Bush Administration has been waging diplomatic, financial and economic siege warfare against its main enemy in the Middle East, the 'Islamic Republic' of Iran. With the daily car bombings in Iraq grabbing all the headlines, however, such actions are largely invisible.

Clearly, more pro-active approaches that are still short of war are available to the US. Options such as providing covert aid to what can best be described as Iranian resistance groups (both armed and otherwise), waging psychological warfare, more aggressive actions against Iranian arms smuggling, terrorist support and intel gathering networks, and using more resources to subvert the Iranian theocracy (or their allies in Damascus) are certainly not off the table. It’s very much possible that such actions may be going on even now.

Even with these considerations, the Iranians will likely have their nuclear weapons operational within five years (or sooner). Will the American plan work in time to stop it? It’s anyone’s guess.

Thanks to Loose Change and Michael Moore…

What can I say? When there are people who “claim to be” patriotic Americans who are so thirsty for some fame that they’d go through many troubles to twist the truth, turn it into a lie and sell it off as the ‘eternal truth’, I have no hope that those who are not Americans, especially those in the Middle East, will try to do anything better.

My brother recently watched a CRAPumentary called ‘9/11: In Plane View’ that purported to “lift the veil on the events of 9/11” and “spread the truth” to all that had eyes to see and ears to hear. Well, the crapumentary in question had only one thing that was new, the title—other than that, it sounded exactly like the conspiracy theorist’s unilateral wet dream “Loose Change” (both editions)…only shorter.

This brother whom I’m talking about is the same one who some months ago questioned the actions of Mohammed, about whom I was hopeful might change and embrace the truth. Well, after watching that crap load of a video he too was chanting the usual slogan, ‘Jews and Christians do all kinds of evil things to put Muslims down.’ Yup. Call me stupid, but I have lost my hope here too.

It is true that this brother of mine was shifting from opinion to opinion already but his opinion was never too severe. I wasn’t too shocked to hear him say that though, I hear it all the time…from Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, etc. But I was sad—guess there is no sense in being sad anymore either.

My family is one of them—it doesn’t matter how much I try to deny it. I tried to change their views for almost a year but I am losing interest in that now. I am tired of putting in effort and not gaining anything from it whatsoever. It seems that as my family go down that road of undying hatred and will to kill those who disagree with Allah, they will eventually drag me down it—not as a friend but a foe.

I can scream with facts in their face—I can slit my throat and ask them to listen to me just once and pay attention. They will cry out, ‘Zionist!’ and ‘American Pig!!’, among other choice epithets. As weird as that might sound, I have been called those names before (Zionist more than any other). Those names do not offend me--what offends me is the charge that comes with it.

Muslim paranoia knows no bounds. A life of a Jew and an American, to Muslims, revolves around being obsessed with destroying Muslims, when exactly opposite is true of them. However, exactly the same is true of Muslims regarding Jews and Americans. Leftist fanatics are no different than Muslims--I don’t give a crap what passport they carry or where they were born—they are not Americans if they will gladly see the flag of Islam flying over Washington someday.

The Muslims and the leftists from all over the world can shove their sentiments and their lies; I am not putting another second in trying to PROVE anything to them. Quite simply, they are beyond reason.

Your counterjihad graphic of the week

Yesterday was a beautiful day in Seoul, perfect visibility without a cloud in the sky. So I thought I would head into town to have a look around.

And perfectly visible for miles around in Seoul, atop the hill in Itaewon, is the largest mosque in Korea. I saw it quietly plainly even thought I was a ways off. The enemy has footholds everywhere, and Seoul is certainly no exception.

The locals, if they were smart, would put up this sign next to the 'Islamic Center'.

A Letter to the Staunton Daily News Leader

This letter was recently sent to the editorial board of the Staunton Daily News Leader in Staunton, Virginia, and comes to PI via our inbox:

Dear Editorial Staff,

This one could be used in your letters section - that is, if you're not too worried to publish it.

While I have refrained entirely from posting on your forum due to the anti-Christian, pro-Islamist, libelous bullying and persistent name-calling that occurs there (and don't tell me this is false), I couldn't help but notice a developing, ongoing trend, and that is the overwhelming majority of your forum storychat article comments "Editorials" seems to be coming from a predominantly liberal view only.

Yet, at the bottom of each editorial, I see this:

"Opinions expressed in this feature represent the majority opinion of the newspaper's editorial board, consisting of: Roger Watson, president and publisher; David Fritz, executive editor; Cindy Corell, city editor; Jim McCloskey, editorial cartoonist; Dennis Neal, opinion page editor; and Macon Rich, production director."

My questions are, as follows:

1. From the list of names above, do you have any token conservative voices at your newspaper?
2. Are any or all of you from places like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Nantucket, Detroit, Charlottesville, Berkeley, or Cleveland?
3. Is this list comprised entirely of the leftist mindset?
4. If so, where are they, and why are they not offering any editorials? Are the token conservatives, if any, afraid to speak out in case they lose their jobs?
5. Does the Staunton Daily News Leader subscribe to the leftist point of view?

Just a personal observation from a reader that attempts to see opinion from both sides - but only sees ONE side coming from your newspaper. The newspaper's trend is going far to the left as well. I do not see much (if any) conservative views whatsoever. If they are there, they are instantly assassinated or probably rejected outright by knee-jerk, swift and cunningly obvious attacks from your liberal forum posters.

Advice? Follow the trendsetting, open, fair and balanced journalism practices of Chris and Crystal Graham of The New Dominion, where you would find a healthy blend of ALL opinions from the political spectrum. For far too long, your newspaper is taking a sliding trend toward one side. While my family spans the greater south end of the Shenandoah Valley, every single one of us has cancelled our subscriptions over the years, and I am getting similar feedback from others who live here in the valley - and that is just me, for example, in local spots like Wal-Mart, The Dixie Theater, downtown Waynesboro and Staunton - going up to people and asking their opinion about the Staunton Daily News Leader. The majority of whom I poll (non-scientific of course) are telling me the same story.

Just my opinion. Is the practice of defeating "fair and balanced" an adroit plot of the Staunton Daily News Leader here in Virginia?

Take all of this as constructive criticism. Again, observations.

Garbage, garbage everywhere

If there's one thing that Kuala Lumpur has a lot of, it's lots and lots and lots of uncollected garbage. It just sits in ever-growing piles on the streets and sidewalks, rotting and festering in the tropical sun. Perhaps the locals are hoping that Allah, in addition to smiting the evil infidels, also runs an efficient garbage collection service? There's certainly no proof of that, but hope springs eternal...and so does KL street rubbish.

While the streets of my new Korean home are usually litter and garbage free, the same can most definitely not be said of Malaysia, as these photos will readily attest to. Muslims, it is often said, have basic problems even performing the basic maintenance to keep a contemporary society going. If you are looking for some visual manifestation of this primitive Muslim mindset, look no further.

Trainwreck Bush's Insane Iraq Plan

You know how the engines and a few cars immediately behind it just keep on going and going after they derail, long after the remaining cars lie in wreckage. That's kind of how I feel watching Bush. I remember years ago someone pointed out how Bush was set on a course (the 'light unto Muslim nations', that course) and would not change although it is clear in hindsight a dramatic change was absolutely necessary. It's not that we are losing the 'war on terror', it's not the war. Bush can't name the war. But we can.

Apparently this new 'plan' was thought up by Maliki. Huh. That incompetent Shiite Muslim whose government is a mess? (what kind of gov't did you think you would have in dar-I-slam.) But that was what was implied in this article:

... Smith said Bush told him and several other senators that the plan for the additional troops had originated with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.

Maliki had made commitments that the Iraqi government and military would take steps to strengthen security in exchange for more U.S. troops, Smith said.

Seeking to salvage the U.S. mission in an unpopular war that has lasted nearly four years, Bush's new plan is also expected to include setting "benchmarks" for the Iraqi government to meet aimed at easing sectarian violence and stabilizing the country. {Benchmarks? Like what are those benchmarks? Number of soldiers killed? Number of civilians killed. Is this the latest jizya program?}

It is also expected to contain a jobs program likely to cost upwards of $1 billion with the goal of putting Iraqis back to work. [Pay that jizya, whiteboy1, sung to 'play that music whiteboy' and boogie down tonight...}

And in this article, more details with my sarcasm inserted liberally:

... Other goals set are understood to include steps to draw more Sunnis into the Iraqi political process through local elections and to finalise a measure on the distribution of oil revenue which would see the money given to out to the country's 18 provinces on the basis of population size. (That'll work! This man has learned NOTHING about Islam and clans. NOTHING.....)

If I begged this man to bring Robert Spencer, Bat Ye'or and Andrew Bostom to Camp David for 2 days of study and education about Islam, would he ignore my pleas?

It is so sad to see so many people who are supposed to lead us when we are attacked refuse absolutely and completely to learn about the enemy because it is a RELIGION. Everybody knows every religion is sacred! Is that what Bush really believes? Their god is our God. Islam came from Abraham just like Christianity. It's hopeless. It is the perfect trojan horse for Islam.

These two pieces were submitted to our inbox last month by an American infidel who wishes to remain anonymous. I meant to post earlier but you know how it goes... Apologies to our infidel artist contributor for not posting these sooner.

What Thomas Jefferson Really Thought About Islam and the Koran

Slow jihadist Keith Ellison believed he had a publicity stroke of genius by using Thomas Jefferson's copy of the Koran. It's an absurd presumption. I would expect FDR had a copy of Mein Kamph as well. Of course, the mainstreem media, in their utter laziness and brain addled dhimmitude, did not bother to look any further to see what Jefferson thought of Islam. Mustn't do that. Makes the brain hurt, and you might not like what you find. It's pathetic all right.

Islamic Threat has recently posted what Jefferson and Adams both wrote about Islam. What is particlularly striking to me is how utterly clear and complete their understanding of Islam is compared to ANY politician today. We desperately need another Adams or Jefferson to arise from the infidels to save our country from this plague called Islam.

From Islamic Threat - Founding Fathers on Islam

Adams on Jesus Christ and Christianity, Relative to Muhammad and Islam

"And he [Jesus] declared, that the enjoyment of felicity in the world hereafter, would be reward of the practice of benevolence here. His whole law was resolvable into the precept of love; peace on earth – good will toward man, was the early object of his mission; and the authoritative demonstration of the immortality of man, was that, which constituted the more than earthly tribute of glory to God in the highest… The first conquest of the religion of Jesus, was over the unsocial passions of his disciples. It elevated the standard of the human character in the scale of existence…On the Christian system of morals, man is an immortal spirit, confined for a short space of time, in an earthly tabernacle. Kindness to his fellow mortals embraces the whole compass of his duties upon earth, and the whole promise of happiness to his spirit hereafter. THE ESSENCE OF THIS DOCTRINE IS, TO EXALT THE SPIRITUAL OVER THE BRUTAL PART OF HIS NATURE." (Adam's capital letters)….[pp. 267-268]
“In the seventh century of the Christian era, a wandering Arab of the lineage of Hagar [i.e., Muhammad], the Egyptian, combining the powers of transcendent genius, with the preternatural energy of a fanatic, and the fraudulent spirit of an impostor, proclaimed himself as a messenger from Heaven, and spread desolation and delusion over an extensive portion of the earth. Adopting from the sublime conception of the Mosaic law, the doctrine of one omnipotent God; he connected indissolubly with it, the audacious falsehood, that he was himself his prophet and apostle. Adopting from the new Revelation of Jesus, the faith and hope of immortal life, and of future retribution, he humbled it to the dust by adapting all the rewards and sanctions of his religion to the gratification of the sexual passion. He poisoned the sources of human felicity at the fountain, by degrading the condition of the female sex, and the allowance of polygamy; and he declared undistinguishing and exterminating war, as a part of his religion, against all the rest of mankind. THE ESSENCE OF HIS DOCTRINE WAS VIOLENCE AND LUST: TO EXALT THE BRUTAL OVER THE SPIRITUAL PART OF HUMAN NATURE (Adam's capital letters)….Between these two religions, thus contrasted in their characters, a war of twelve hundred years has already raged. The war is yet flagrant…While the merciless and dissolute dogmas of the false prophet shall furnish motives to human action, there can never be peace upon earth, and good will towards men.” [p. 269]

Then here is what Jefferson said about Islam, thanks to Daniel Pipes who provided this quote on his website

From AMERICAN SPHINX The Character of Thomas Jefferson by Joseph J. Ellis

"Several muslim countries along the North African coast had established the tradition of plundering the ships of European and American merchants in the western Mediterranean and eastern Atlantic, capturing the crews and then demanding ransom from the respective governments for their release. In a joint message to their superiors in Congress, Adams and Jefferson described the audacity of these terrorist attacks, pirates leaping onto defenseless ships with daggers clenched in their teeth. They had asked the ambassador from Tripoli, Adams and Jefferson explained, on what grounds these outrageous acts of unbridled savagery could be justified: "The Ambassador answered us that it was founded on the laws of the prophet, that it was written in their koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their [islams] authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners...."

This event occured between 1784-1789 while Jefferson was ambassador to France and Adams (2nd president) was ambassador to England.

When Jefferson became President he proceeded to send the US Navy to Tripoli defeating the terrists and saving Americans who were taken into slavery under the able leadership of Commodore Stephen Decatur whose name I use with pride.

We're still here

Apologies to all for my dirth of posting, but since my arrival here in Korea (the free half), most of the time, I've been as sick as a (infidel) dog. Apparently my body hasn't been coping well with the change of countries, cultures, climate and food. I'm feeling a bit better today, thankfully.

Let's get back to business, shall we? I'll try to catch up.

Rehashing old news a bit...Saddam's dead, watch the snuff video here. Videographer of said video has already been arrested.

Ubercounterjihadin' blogger Steve Harkonnen is planning a Blogger's Bash the weekend of June 1st at Embassy Suites in Crystal City, Virginia. I will regrettably be unable to attend, but I'm sure Steve would appreciate stateside bloggers who can find the time and money to go. Wishing Steve the best of luck for his planned function and hoping he has a decent turnout. You can go to Steve's website for more and updated info.

The World Jihad suffers a slight setback in Somalia. Glory to the infidel armed forces of Ethiopia who engineered the rout. Sadly, the Somalian jihadists of Al Qaeda who one second ago were promising a fight 'to martydom' have ignominously retreated from the battle. This isn't over--watch this space.

We got an intriguing email about an effort in the US to set up a counterjihad third party. This new party is calling itself the Loyalist Party. PI has broached the topic of the need for a third political party before, but this seems to be the first time anyone anywhere has tried to actually do it. I'm curious and hopeful, but at the same time, I'm not trying to get my hopes up too much, as the Dems and 'Publicans have a vicegrip lock on the whole electoral process from top to bottom.

There's our wrap-up for now. Shabbat Shalom and see you all again soon.

UPDATE: Have added a link to the Loyalist Party in our sidebar near the top. Do pay them a visit if you can.

Escape from Islamia

In the works for some time, I am now happy to be able to announce to you all here my escape from Islamia. A Korean company recently offered me a job, which I have happily accepted. As of last week, I have safely relocated, at least temporarily, to Dar al Harb, namely South Korea. My accepting of employment here, in some ways, makes me less able to report on the Islamic Conspiracy to take over the world. However, the prospect of separating myself from the so-called Religion of Peace provided me with a strong sense of motivation to accept the Korean job offer. So here I am, blogging within range of DPRK artillery fire.

Benefits of relocating to South Korea (even in the middle of winter) include NO calls to prayer at 5:30am (or the other four times every single day), no silly ‘non-halal’ signs at restaurants, pork and alcohol that’s easily available, availability of real pepperoni pizzas, and much less censorship on local TV channels. Escaping the dreadfully, continuously hot and humid Malaysian climate is also a plus.

On the other hand, South Korea, in many ways, is much less easier to get around if you happen to be an English-speaking infidel/foreign devil. One common sight in South Korean public spaces, such as shopping malls, are ‘Information’ signs with the word ‘information’ being the only English word on the sign. South Korea is very good at making very small and nifty cell phones, but apparently, none of these phones can translate English to Korean (or vice-versa). Which is too bad.

I shall continue my counter-jihad as much as my new job’s schedule allows. Thanks to our readers out there who have continued to visit Pedestrian Infidel throughout our holiday hiatus.

Happy New Year

Apologies to all for my lack of posting these past several days, which I shall explain in a future post. A very happy 2007 to all infidels, those of the counterjihad and ex-dhimmis everywhere. I'm celebrating with copious amounts of pork and alcohol.
