Islam v. Judaism

This year Islam and Judaism's holiest holidays overlapped for 10 days.

Muslims racked up 397 dead bodies in 94 terror attacks across 10 countries during this time... while Jews worked on their 159th Nobel Prize.

On the right a docile looking pudgy man in white. On the left a group of angry snarling 'zombies'. What a difference! Which is Islam?

Even though the articles here at times vial to the panicky, on the whole they are interesting and thought provoking. Is there any avenue to reach out to Islam? I am sure there are many outspoken Muslims who are moderates and liberal minded. You can start a post here to 'talk' to them to create a bulwark against extremism.
Anyway, keep up the good work.

To Mr East is Great:

I can only speak for myself, but I am fairly certain that my cobloggers here at PI will agree with me on this.

We're not at all interested in 'reaching out' to Islam. The divide between 'extreme' and 'non extreme' Islam that you draw is a patently false one. Islam is inherently extreme.

The 'moderates' and 'liberal minded' Muslims you speak of are in the eyes of Muslims 'apostates in waiting' or apostates in reality. This renders them instantly suspect (at best) or worse as criminals, as apostacy from Islam is a grave crime punishable by death. Worse yet for us infidels, these 'moderates' may yet turn out to be wolves in sheep's clothing, liable to succumb to 'Sudden Jihad Syndrome' at the slightest pretext, or no pretext at all. Today's moderates are often tomorrow's terrorists.

The solution, as we at PI see it, is not 'reaching out', nor is it 'dialogue'. Islam needs to be minimized, marginalized, or better yet, disappear altogether. Islam, like its fellow travellers Marxism, Fascism, Communism, and Nazism, deserves to be dumped on the rubbish heap of history. No Islam, know peace.

Anyways, thank you for the comment, the kudos and for your interest in our humble lil' neocon site. We'll do our best to keep up the hard work.

I think people judge Muslims too quick. Every religion has its good and bad people. Anyway, everyone knows 9/11 wasn't caused by Muslims. If one Christian makes a mistake, it doesn't mean all Christians are bad, Anti-Jihadist, I have to disagree with you. Every religion has its extremists and also people who do not practice. Not that I'm against extremism, as long as it doesn't hurt or effect others.
