But that's just a religious department; it does not speak for Malaysia in general, and certainly not the government in particular, right? Actually, as this report indicates, "the police and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission are still trying to trace the blogger said to have insulted Prophet Muhammad."
"Moderate Malaysia" Alert: "Religious department to act against any blogger who insults Islam," by Hamidah Atan for the News Straits Times, December 28:
The Islamic Development Department (Jakim) will take stern action against bloggers who insult Islam, including non-Muslims.
Its director-general Datuk Wan Mohamad Sheikh Abdul Aziz said the department could act against irresponsible bloggers, regardless of their religious background.
"Right now, the police and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission are still trying to trace the blogger said to have insulted Prophet Muhammad.
"We will come in once the culprit is found," he said...
And dispense Islamic law, no doubt -- death to the offender.

Hamas Is Shocked And Awed
Israeli smart bombs and missiles continue to fall, and Palestinian casualties are over 1,100. About 10,000 Israeli ground troops, including nearly a thousand armored vehicles, are assembled near the Gaza security fence. Hamas admitted that the attacks had made a serious dent in their rocket supply. On the first day of the bombing. Hamas fired over 110 rockets and mortar shells into southern Israel, but that fell to twenty the next day. And today there is no increase in Hamas rocket attacks. So far, Israel has hit at least 300 targets in Gaza, usually with one smart bomb or missile. Hamas appears to be surprised at the detailed targeting data the Israelis had assembled.
Israel is apparently trying to cripple Hamas military capability, forcing the terrorist organization to devote resources to rebuilding, instead of attacking Israel. Israel also hopes that anti-Hamas Palestinians will rise up and give power to Fatah. This is a long shot. Meanwhile, a ground offensive would recover lots of valuable intelligence, as well as capturing some key Hamas operatives (who could be used to trade for an Israeli soldier kidnapped two years ago.) Israel has an opportunity here to demoralize Hamas, and their Shia ally Hezbollah in Lebanon (both are supported by Iran, who will also take a beating if Hamas does not win some kind of "victory.")
The response in the Arab world is not quite what Hamas expected. Because Hamas is seen as a puppet of Shia Iran, many mainstream Sunni Islamic radicals are not terribly upset that Hamas is getting hammered.
Malaysia, however, is firmly siding with Hamas. Note the code phrases 'state terrorism', 'illegal occupation' and 'oppressed people' in the following article.
KUALA LUMPUR, 29 Dec 2008: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) has called on all Malaysian political parties to support a motion in Parliament to condemn the latest killings in Gaza to demonstrate the country's unified stance against state terrorism and illegal occupation.PKR deputy president Dr Syed Husin Ali said ..."On this occasion, we urge Malaysians to pray for all the oppressed people of the world and hope there will be more careful and informed decisions on the part of powerful leaders, so that sanity and humanity can return to the occupied territories," he said in a statement here today.
The aforementioned code phrases deserve an explanation. 'State terrorism' and 'illegal occupation' are things that only infidels, specifically the US and Israel, are guilty of doing. Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas are never guilty of these crimes, no matter how many mortar shells and rockets they may fire at Israeli towns (i.e. civilians). Additionally, 'oppressed people' can only be Muslims--never Jews or Bahai in Iran, Coptic Christians in Egypt, Hindus in Pakistan, etc etc.
But Malaysian support of Hamas extends far past rhetoric and sympathetic press releases. According to Global Security, "HAMAS receives funding from Palestinian expatriates, Iran, and private benefactors in Saudi Arabia and other moderate Arab states." This includes Malaysia, which as of 2006 had provided at least US $16 million in supposed 'humantarian assistance'.

When religious dictatorships ruled by anti-semitic Jihadi terrorist groups attack the free world--i.e. when Hamas-ruled Gaza attacks Israel--what is the proper response?
That response is Israel's Operation Cast Lead, an ongoing military operation launched on 27 December after hundreds of mortar shells and rockets launched from Gaza hit southern Israel in recent weeks. One can hope that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) learned their lessons from their less-than-successful efforts against Hezbollah in 2006.
We at PI wish the best of luck to the Israeli Armed Forces who are at this moment putting themselves in harm's way to protect their country from aggression. Good hunting to the IDF!

Apparently our little anti Islamic blog is starting to really annoy some Muslims. Some Islamic blogs have linked to Pedestrian Infidel and have seriously increased our traffic in the past couple of days.
To all our new readers from Malaysia and elsewhere, I want to thank you for coming to our humble lil' "Islamophobic" site. Hopefully, what you see here will open your eyes to the truth. And even if you don't like you see, thanks for stopping by, regardless.
Some of our critics seem to think that reporting the existence of this blog to the Malaysian authorities will actually be of some use. What is a bunch of bureaucrats in KL or elsewhere in Malaysia supposed to do about a blog that's based on servers outside of their country? That's written by people who do not live in Malaysia? Is the Malaysian government going to file a complaint with Blogger? With Google?
And what makes Pedestrian Infidel so special as to deserve so much 'love' and attention from the followers of the Religion of Peace? If you are going to file a report on PI, why not also file reports on Infidel Bloggers Alliance, Maverick News Network, Jihad Watch or Belmont Club? The list of anti Islamic/counterjihad blogs is lengthy and distinguished--check our sidebar for more. Is PI somehow more dangerous to Islam or Muslims than all these other blogs?
In short, we are honored to be singled out for so much attention. And we take this amount of attention as a compliment from our foes.
Dengan ini, kami amat berbesar hati kerana mendapat perhatian yang penuh dan kami menerimanya dengan hati yang terbuka daripada musuh-musuh kami.

About 2100 years ago, King Antiochus IV of Syria, a Greek leader, prohibited Jewish customs and required Jews to worship Greek gods. The Jews revolted and eventually defeated the Greek Army over a three year period despite being outnumbered. The Jews won their freedom under the leadership of the Maccabees, a Jewish national liberation movement.
Following their victory, the Maccabees and their allies visited the Holy Temple, only to find it severely damaged. Eventually, they cleaned and restored the temple, and, upon completion, decided that it should be rededicated and celebrated.
Let us take this year's Hanukkah to recognize that our Jewish friends and neighbors are allies in the war against Darkness, against the enemy that need not be named, a struggle none of us can afford to fail.

The anti-Christian banners were hung in the plaza in front of the Basilica of the Annunciation.
As Nazareth’s Christians prepare to celebrate Christmas, they are playing down the appearance of a confrontational Islamic banner that challenges an elemental Christian belief.via Infidel Bloggers Alliance
Journalists visiting the city saw two large banners--one in English, one in Arabic--hanging in the plaza in front of the Basilica of the Annunciation, with a verse from the Koran (112:1-4) contradicting the New Testament proclamation that Jesus is the “only begotten” of God.
“In the name of Allah, the most beneficent, the most merciful, Say (O Muhammad): He is Allah, (the) One and Only. Allah, the Eternal, the Absolute. He begetteth not, nor was begotten, and there is none like unto him,” the banner reads.

Malaysia continues to move closer to the Axis of Evil, as Malaysia's Prime Minister continues his official state visit in Teheran this week (inset photo).
From today's The Star:
PM wants closer banking ties with Iran
TEHERAN: The banking and financial sectors of Malaysia and Iran should work more closely together to facilitate trade between the two countries.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said Malaysian and Iranian banks should explore the potential and enhance cooperation in Islamic banking and finance.
Citing the interest of Iran’s Mellat Bank to open an offshore branch in Labuan, he said the presence of the bank in Malaysia would support the development of various economic activities between Iran and Malaysia.
“When this project becomes a reality, it will be another milestone in the area of financial cooperation between our two countries.
“On the issue of financing, I am aware that a Malaysian company involved in certain construction projects in Iran has encountered some difficulties in obtaining the services of the Exim Bank of Malaysia,” he said, adding that the problem was being addressed.
Abdullah said investments between both countries had increased, with Malaysian companies Petronas and SKS Ventures being given the opportunity to participate in the oil and gas sector.
In return, he said, the National Iranian Oil Company had agreed to supply crude oil and condensate to two refineries in Malaysia.
“Iran is now Malaysia’s third largest trading partner in the Middle East. In 2007, our bilateral trade amounted to US$1.042bil (RM3.63bil) as compared to US$1.022bil (RM3.56bil) in 2006,” he said.
The aforementioned 'difficulties' above are almost certainly an oblique reference to the US financial sanctions that have been long imposed on Iran to isolate it from the world financial system. Nice to know that Malaysia is helping Iran to circumvent those cursed infidel sanctions.
Maybe this is all part of the alleged 'Sunni Syiah reconciliation' that one of my Muslim opponents was recently referring to. So there are going to be more Iranian banks in Malaysia? What's next...Shia mosques in KL? Perish the thought!
This extends a long trend of ever-closer Malaysian-Iranian relations and cooperation. I expect this to continue no matter who's in power in Putrajaya. As always, if you're a rogue or terrorist state in Asia, then you've got a friend in Kuala Lumpur.

Are you a 'moderate Muslim'? Then have a look at this short film, 'An Interview with Mohammed' by Ehsan Jami. Mr. Jami is an apostate from Islam, and his movie is very different from Geert Wilders’ 'Fitna'. It’s an understated approach from a Muslim insider’s point of view.

Imagine what a truly moderate majority-Muslim country might be like. I know it sounds like a non sequitur, but indulge a flight of fantasy for a moment. And no, I don't mean Malaysia, the land where Muslims have repeatedly shown their hatred of all things American and use the term 'Zionist' as the ultimate political slur.
Such a country, if it existed, would have:
- a very high approval rating of US foreign policy (circa 90%)
- close and warm relations with Israel (both officially and unofficially)
- very few, if any of the women, in hijabs, burqas, tudongs or any other type of 'female containment' clothing
- No lifestyle police
- alcohol that is not restricted and is freely available
- citizens who place themselves as citizens of their nation first, followers of Islam a distant second
- virtually no interest in any Islamic/Islamist political parties or groups (PAS, Hamas, etc.)
- American flags flying in public places as a common practice
Sounds crazy, doesn't it? I mean, how could such a Muslim-majority country exist? It'll never happen, right?
Well, this is no crazy neocon dream...there really is such a place. This newly-declared nation even named the road from their main international airport to their capital 'Bill Clinton Boulevard'.
Read about this country here.

The suppression of uncomfortable ideas may be common in religion or in politics, but it is not the path to knowledge, and there's no place for it in the endeavor of science. We do not know beforehand where fundamental insights will arise from about our mysterious and lovely solar system. The history of our study of our solar system shows us clearly that accepted and conventional ideas are often wrong, and that fundamental insights can arise from the most unexpected sources.

Last week I posted a Youtube video and transcript that criticized the Hajj. This resulted in thousands of additional visitors to this blog, outraged posts on many different Muslim blogs, and dozens of comments, with most of the Muslim comments harsh, derogatory and insulting. Many of those comments called for my arrest and wished me and my family personal harm. In other words, it was a typical display from the members of the Religion of Perpetual Outrage--Malays and Muslims full of piss and vinegar, defending their faith.
Yesterday, I posted a piece on how the government of Malaysia deliberately released from jail a known al Qaeda terrorist named Yazid Sufaat, a man who is known to have helped in the plotting of the 9-11 terror attacks. How have the Malays and other Muslims responded to this? How much does this act outrage Jihadists like 'Jack Sparrow' and 'Mahaguru'?
Zip. Zero. None.
So, let's recap. My fellow blogger Surind Raj and I dared to criticize the Hajj with a few words and a borrowed video from Youtube, and Muslims threaten to raise Hell. A few days later, those same Muslims' own government actually releases a known terrorist from prison--and what do Mahaguru and other 'defenders of Allah' have to say? Absolutely nothing. They couldn't care less. There's no mention of Sufaat on any Malay blog that I can find, and as the moment this was written, no comments at my post yesterday about Sufaat's release.
It turns out that Islam itself has a word for this kind of people. That word is 'munafiq'...and it means 'hypocrite'.

from Long War Journal
The government of Malaysia made a curious announcement this week: Yazid Sufaat (in photo), a known al Qaeda operative, and four other alleged terrorists have been released from jail. It is not clear why Malaysian authorities thought it was time to set them free. Malaysia's home minister, Syed Hamid Albar, simply declared, "They are no longer a threat but they will be watched closely."
We can only hope.
Sufaat's newfound freedom is troubling. According to the 9-11 Commission, four top al Qaeda operatives stayed at Sufaat's apartment in Malaysia in January of 2000. The al Qaeda terrorists were in Malaysia for an important planning meeting, during which they discussed the upcoming attack on the USS Cole and details of the 9/11 operation. Shortly after the meeting, al Qaeda terrorists Khalid al Mihdhar and Nawaf al Hazmi, both of whom stayed at Sufaat's apartment, left for California. Twenty months later, al Mihdhar and al Hazmi were part of the team responsible for hijacking American Airlines Flight 77 and crashing it into the Pentagon.
Al Mihdhar and al Hazmi were not the only 9/11 plotters to receive Sufaat's hospitality. In the fall of 2000, Sufaat played host to convicted al Qaeda terrorist Zacarias Moussaoui during his visit to Malaysia. Moussaoui was scheduled to take part in the September 11 attacks, or a similar follow-on plot, but was detained by the FBI in August of 2001.
Thus, Sufaat assisted al Qaeda members during a crucial juncture in their operational planning for the 9/11 attacks.
And that is not all Sufaat accomplished during his terrorist career. According to the 9/11 Commission, Sufaat is guilty of more.

The resistance to Malaysian jihadists and apologists for Islamic terror like 'Mahaguru58' is building. Heads up Pastorius and the rest of the IBLOGA crowd--this 'Mahaguru' character is the one who leads a group of Muslim bloggers that calls themselves the 'Muslim Bloggers Alliance'.
Here are some choice bits from 'Mahaguru58', an enemy of humanity:
When you publish such offensive articles against us and demand that we do nothing about it in the name of freedom of speech, then you sure are one stupid deluded moron who needs to be taught a lesson! A lesson that you and others like you will never forget!
We who believe in Allah as our Lord and Muhammad as our beloved Last and Final Messenger of Allah wish to inform you and your likes that you shall reap what you sow!
Sounds like a genuinely pious and devout Muslim, doesn't he? If you want to visit 'Mahaguru's' site and see more ugly stuff like the aforementioned, feel free to google it, as I do not wish to embed any more links here to that person's site.
Anyhow, some other Malaysian bloggers are aware of this Muslim's cyber jihad and are joining forces with me to fight back, to wit:
The sjsandteam is throwing an open challenge to this idiot named Zainol Abideen, also known as Mahaguru58. He has thrown an open challenge to all non-Muslims throughout the world. He will pay dearly for the words uttered by him which are displayed at his website. As we do not promote his website, please Google search his website to verify all the words written by him, which we are displaying here. Please note that this person is a Protem President of the Muslim Bloggers Alliance in Malaysia. Who cares! If he transgresses the limit of morality and religious tolerance, he is an enemy of this world!
I invite our readers to head on over and read the rest of the challenge to one of Malaysia's most notorious online cyber jihadists.

From FrontPage Magazine
It has become very clear that in the West, we have a fundamental misunderstanding of Islam. Its history, guiding principles, and more importantly, what it means to a Muslim when he uses certain terms.
In order to understand what Muslims mean when they use a certain word, we must remember that in their minds and cultures, certain words do not mean anything like the accepted meaning we have for them in the West.
For Muslims, the meaning of any word is very closely related to the traditional meaning of that word in the Koran and their other holy texts. Unlike most of us with the Bible, for a Muslim the Koran is not just a prayer book, it is the complete guide to his life, and the absolute guiding
principle for the world, and all who reside in it, religious and political.
Because of this, we in the West are often dumbfounded by their words vs. their actions, because for us the words mean one thing, and for them they mean something entirely different. They are thus able to manipulate the uneducated listener into believing they agree, when in fact for the most part, they do not agree.
Here then, is a short guide to real meaning of certain key words, when used by a Muslim.
An Islam-speak glossary:
Peace - The state of cessation of all resistance to Islam. Peace only exists when Islam rules politically and religiously, and all Islamic principles are established as the law of the land.
Freedom - Freedom exists when Islam and its principles attain complete dominance and constitute the entirety of religious belief and political rule.
Justice - The state when Sharia law is the law of the land, and all judicial decisions are based on it and it alone. Justice exists when non-Muslims have no standing before a court, and when the testimony of two Muslim women is equal to that of one Muslim man.
Equality - Equality is achieved when Muslims are the only leaders of society, and are given their rightful place as the best of men, leading all institutions, political and religious. This does not extend to non-Muslims or apostates.
Tolerance - The state when non-Muslims are properly subdued and subservient to Muslim rule, agree to their second-class Dhimmi status, and duly pay the Jizya to their Muslim overlords. (see Pact of Umar)
Truth - Truth is the accepted Islamic version of events, as laid out in the Koran and the Sunna. Anything beyond that is merely hearsay, and in many cases blasphemy. (see Lies).
Democracy - The state when Islam is the absolute law and religion, and all peoples conform to Islamic law and customs. (see Freedom).
Freedom of Speech - Freedom of speech is achieved when Muslims, and only Muslims, are free to espouse their beliefs, and non-Muslims are prohibited from commenting on or criticizing anything Islamic.
Just Society - A society ruled by Muslims under Islamic law.
Koran - Allah's final word, perfect and unaltered, superseding all others and the true and only guide for mankind in religion, law and politics.
Oppression - The rule of a state by non-Islamic law; actions of resistance to implementation of Islamic law and Muslim rule.
Racism - The state where anything Islamic or any Muslim is criticized or rejected.
Infidel - Any and all non-Muslims. Subject only to conversion, subjugation, or death under Islamic law.
Slavery - The rightful and lawful status of any infidel captured in battle against Islam.
Treaty - A non-binding and temporary agreement between Muslims and non-Muslims, valid only until such time as the Muslims have the power to achieve by force or other means what they have momentarily failed to achieve.
Lies - The act of hiding the truth, permissible by Islamic law for a Muslim when in fear for his safety or when it advances the cause of Islam.
Terrorism - Any act committed by an infidel that is prejudicial to the interests of Muslims or Islam (see Motoons)
With these definitions in mind, we will be better prepared to answer or debate a Muslim statement.

This week I had the honor and pleasure of being contacted by American counterjihad author and university professor Rich Crandall. His new book "Islam: The Enemy" is out and available now, after nearly seven years of diligent research and effort. I'm honored to add Mr. Crandall's website to our blogroll, and his book to our 'Counterjihad Bookshelf' in our sidebar.
Rather than just rehash who this man is and what this fine new tome is all about, I'm going to let the esteemed author speak for himself. The following is Mr. Crandall's letter to our inbox, reprinted below with his permission.
Hello Pedestrian Infidel,
I just recently found your web site and think it is great! I agree that Islam is a global threat and that it is incompatible with freedom. I wanted to make you aware of my new book Islam: The Enemy which you can see at http://islamtheenemy.com.
Be forewarned, my book is not politically correct. The title page has the following:
Isn’t it about time someone finally said it is not a war against Islamic extremism, Islamic fundamentalism, Islamic terrorism, Islamic fascism, Islamofascism, Muslim extremism, Muslim fundamentalism, Muslim terrorism, radical Islam, or stateless terrorists? Rather, it is a war against Islam, a bloody, intolerant, and violent ideology currently masquerading as a religion!
Chapter 01 is titled “Wake Up, America!” and it begins:
Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, was an assassin, bandit, murderer, pedophile, rapist, robber, slave owner, thief, thug, and warlord. He called for and engaged in the mass slaughter of those who refused to convert or submit to Islam.
I have a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, and for almost 40 years have been a university professor whose major area of specialization within sociology has been gerontology. I wrote two widely used gerontology textbooks. After running for 25 years I wrote a heavily researched book titled Running: The Consequences which examined the physiological and psychological consequences of running (The consequences must be good since I am still getting in 50 miles a week). And, after collecting Inuit art for over three decades I wrote a book titled Inuit Art: A History. The annotated bibliography was also published and had over 4,000 references which I used to write the book. Thus, over my career I have had diverse research interests, and all of my books are thoroughly researched.
In 2001 I was working on a book which was to be titled "The Failure of Liberalism". On September 11, 2001 the focus of my research changed to exposing Islam as the cause of 9/11. My thesis is stated in the book’s second paragraph:
Islam is not a religion of peace. It is a religion of hatred, intolerance, and violence, as is easily demonstrated by its prophet’s behavior and teachings, by it religious doctrines, as well as by its fourteen hundred-year history. Shortly before his death in 632, Muhammad told his followers, “I have been ordered by Allah to fight against the people till they testify that none has the right to be worshiped but Allah, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.” Muslims have echoed these words many times over the last fourteen hundred years as they engaged in jihad to force others to accept Islam. In November 2001 Osama bin Laden paraphrased them once again when he stated, “I was ordered to fight the people until they say there is no god but Allah and his prophet Muhammad.”
Toward the end of Chapter 01 I state:
Those who claim that Islam has been hijacked by extremists are either being deceitful or they are ignorant, liars, or stupid. In fact, these same individuals would have to claim that Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, was an extremist who hijacked his own religion.
In Chapter 04 I discuss “The Myth of the Moderate Muslim.” Here I state:
Moderate Muslims have three options. First, they an continue to practice a toned-down or cafeteria-style of Islam which makes them hypocrites. And hypocrites will go to hell where they will suffer a torment far worse than that of non-Muslims. Second, they can become apostates and leave Islam, which means they will be killed for being an apostate, and as apostates they will go to hell, where they will receive extra torment. The third option is to become a pious Muslim.
In Chapter 02 - 05 I examine Islam’s most important religious documents: the hadith reports, the Koran, and Islamic law. These documents clearly demonstrate that Islam is not a religion of peace. Chapters 06 - 09 provide a biography of Muhammad. His biography was summarized in the second quote in this email. The biography is important since Muslims believe Muhammad was the perfect man, and that his behavior is to be followed by all Muslims. The last chapters deal with current events. Chapter 10 is titled “Recent Wake-Up Alarms” and it deals with (1) we should have known 9/11 was coming, and (2) we still do not take the war seriously. Chapters 11 and 12 deal with second attacks, first by the mainstream media and second by Muslims. The last chapter, Chapter 13, is titled “The Infestation of the West” and it deals with the slow but steady “Islamization” or “sharia by the inch” of the West.
If you have any questions you can contact me at or through email@example.com [or] my website at http://islamtheenemy.com/.

A few days ago, the Enemies of Freedom successfully silenced a Malaysian critic of Islam, named 'Surind Raj', who dared to speak up at his website. Part of the Muslims' insidious cyber jihad was a 'police report' that supposedly was filed against Surind for his blog's post that criticizes the Hajj (Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca). An official-looking report was posted at various pro-jihad and pro-terrorist websites that names Surind as the subject of the supposed report.
Well, Surind can (at least for now) breathe a little easier. Having examined the report at length, my sources tell me that the 'police report' as shown is fake, a forgery--as genuine as a three dollar bill. This 'report' is so riddled with errors, mistakes, and inconsistencies, that there's no way that any real cop, even a cop in Malaysia, could get away with writing or filing it. It flies in the face of all kinds of long-established police procedures, isn't in the correct format, has glaring omissions of data, and has numerous (BM) spelling errors. No, I am not going to point out those specific errors here--I do not want to assist the enemy. Let's just say that this 'police report' strongly reminds me of all those concocted documents you get emailed to you to 'prove' that you've just won an overseas lottery that you've never heard of.
As if we needed another reminder of who and what we are dealing with. Our treacherous enemies are perfectly willing and able to make any number of bald-faced lies to advance their cause--break any rule, violate any trust, and trash any agreement. All in order to advance the cause that is Islam, and all in accordance with the teachings of its prophet. As the prophet of Islam has famously said, "War is deceit."

Regular readers of our humble lil' 'Islamophobic' site know about my fellow Malaysian blogger Surind. His post last week "The Hajj: The Most Shameful Journey in History" outraged Muslims, who called for his arrest and unleashed a maelstrom of ugly ad hominem attacks, among other things. To show my support for Surind, I posted the very same video and transcript. As expected, I was not spared a furious follow-up assault from the members of the Religion of Peace--feel free to read this comment thread and peruse all the fawning remarks left there by typically tolerant and open-minded Mohammedans.
I am loathe to report that the impromptu Malay cyber jihad appears to have been at least partially successful. As had been threatened, a Malay jihadist slash blogger in fact did file a police report against Surind (link in Bahasa Melayu). But even before that report was filed in the third rate third world two-bit burg known as Kuantan, Surind had already raised the white flag. He has posted a verbose apology in his site's sidebar, deleted the offending video, closed the comments to his site and has promised to take a lengthy sabbatical from blogging. Hence, another critic of Islam has been effectively silenced--which is of course exactly what the Muslims intended all along.
I regret very much that Surind has chosen the path of appeasement. I suppose he's hoping that the crocodile eats him last. Nevertheless, I wish him well and hope that someday, he returns to blogging and to exercises his inherent and God-given rights of free speech and free expression.
As for me, and my fellow contributors, we're not going anywhere. The 'offending' video will remain right here for all to see, and our own cyber-counterjihad continues. In fact, I have a message specifically for Muslim bloggers like 'Mahaguru58' and his ilk, right here. (warning- link may be offensive and is not office safe. Have a nice infidel day.)

The chief export of Pakistan has long been death and jihad, weaponized into a potent religious and political weapon to be used in Pakistan's shadow war against its chief rival, India. Being jihad, the slaughter of rabbis, Jews, women and children, commuters, hotel guests, and various other sundry infidels is of course sanctioned and encouraged. It is a case of classic taqiyya--Pakistan feigns friendship whilst it duplicituously works towards its nefarious and Islamic-inspired ends.
While the rest of the world quickly forgets, Indians have most definitely not forgotten bloody attacks on their embassy in Kabul, earlier bomb attacks in Bangalore, Mumbai and other cities, and a brazen direct assault on their own Parliament in 2001, attacks which in total killed thousands. All these terror attacks bore the fingerprints of either Pakistani intelligence services, and/or terrorist groups allowed to recruit, fundraise and train openly on Pakistani soil.
The Mumbai Massacre appears to be a turning point. The proof of Pakistani complicity in the conspiracy to commit mass murder in Mumbai's luxury hotels, train stations and other targets is damning as it is undeniable. India and their new best friend, the United States, are demanding immediate action, that Pakistan crack down definitively on the numerous jihadist groups that have long called Pakistan home.
This puts Pakistan in a very difficult position. They can either go to war with the significant minority of the population that supports the jihadists, or they can go to war with India who now enjoys the full support of the US. As an article in StrategyPage says rather bluntly, thanks to decades of Pakistan playing with fire, the choice for that cursed country now is either civil war or nuclear war...and there is no option 'c':
Pakistan is being forced into a corner, where the choices come down to civil war with their Islamic conservatives and radicals (about a third of the population), or war with India, which could escalate into a nuclear conflict that Pakistan would lose. The civil war would be messy, but the government would almost certainly win it. Pakistani politicians, being risk averse, are looking for some way out of this mess. There doesn't seem to be one.

I was tempted to call this post 'A Tale of Two Countries, Part 2', but I decided to go with the more whimsical-sounding title. This table illustrates very concisely the diverging arcs that two Asian countries South Korea and Malaysia are set upon.
And no points for guessing which one is the tortoise and which is the hare.

Here's a cool new toy, just in time for the infidel shopping season--which of course covers Yule, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, et al. It's a perfect gift for any child that loves Legos.
Presenting the 'BrickArms Bandit', a fully Lego-compatible figure complete with scowling bearded face, kaffiyeh, Mauser pistol, RPG, AK-47, and M67 frag grenades. A perfect gift for any child who wants a dose of reality this Christmas, and a great way to introduce any youngster to the tranquil ways of the 'Religion of Peace'. Just the toy kids need to invade their Mumbai Lego playsets!
Never mind the ever-growing stacks of dead bodies the jihad is piling up everyday. This children's toy is truly offensive (!) and really has the Muzzies' knickers in a twist.
A range of Lego-style fighting figurines - including an Islamic terrorist militant - has sparked outrage among Muslims.
The toy mini-figures, made by American Will Chapman, includes a masked terrorist bandit with an assault rifle, grenade launcher and belt of explosives.
Shocked by the playthings, British Muslim organisation the Ramadhan Foundation has branded the figurines “absolutely disgusting”.
Chief executive Mohammed Shafiq said the figures were “glorifying terrorism”.
He said: “I don’t think there’s any difference between someone that shouts hatred through a megaphone and someone that creates a doll that glorifies terrorists.
“As a parent myself, I’m going to teach my children respect for the law and respect for each and every community.
“These are the lessons parents should be giving to their children - not lessons about weapons and violence.”
Father-of-three Mr Chapman boasts on his website that his nine-year-old son gave him the idea for the range.
The site advertises 31 different Lego-style weapons, weapons packs and 10 miniature militant figurines.
Other fighters in the range include World War Two troops, US marines - and a Nazi SS officer.
A spokesman for Lego UK said they were “not associated” with the toys being sold by BrickArms, “which have been customised without LEGO UK’s knowledge or permission.”
He added Lego is “committed to developing toys which enrich childhood by encouraging imaginative and creative play - and does not endorse products that do not fit with this philosophy.”

Tomorrow in Malaysia is a legal holiday--Hari Raya Korban, also known as Eid al-Adha. This is the holiday that coincides with that annual mass Muslim madness referred to as the 'Hajj', or the mandatory pilgrimage to Mecca that all Muslims are mandated to make at least once in their lifetimes. And make it they do, by the millions, often using most if not all of their life savings to do so.
Fellow Malaysian blogger Surind posted a video on the Hajj at his blog yesterday, entitled 'The Hajj: The Most Shameful Journey in History.' It caused so much grief and outrage amongst the Muslims that he pulled it from his site today. Well, to show my support for him, to support freedom of speech, and to help spread a point of view that Muslims (and their dhimmi allies) so desperately do not want you to see or hear, I am posting this video here. Transcript of the video is in italics and immediately following the embedded video frame.
The 5th Pillar of Islam wastes more money and effort and time and lives than any other single journey in human history.
Muslims from all around the world - many of them excessively poor - devote a significant proportion of their income to complying with the demand of the Qur'an that they should visit the Kaaba in Mecca, Saudi Arabia at least once in their miserable lives.
I find this a disgusting and lamentable superstition. Not only this, but some of the poorest families in the some of the poorest Muslim countries in the world save all their lives to send their children to wander around a tomb to a long dead deluded bloke called Mohammad - a self-appointed prophet who raised himself above the status of all other humans and still from the ashes reaches out and financially ruins people's lives to this very day by having insisted that all his deluded followers should pop in to his birth town.
You couldn't write more insane fiction than this if you tried. If you saw this on the pages of George Orwell, you would think it would never happen. But it does. And I am sickened by it.
Allah does not exist. Mohammad was just a normal man - now dead for over 1300 years. There is no spiritual realm. Every single Muslim who makes this journey is diverting money and energy away from making this world a better place - building better nations, developing education, science, technology, politics, medicine and so forth. Each Muslim who makes this lamentable journey is guilty of squandering money in as wasteful a way as those people that they criticise for spending on alcohol that they piss down the drain. In some ways, even worse. At least some boozed-up bloke who struggles off to work the next morning with a hangover knows that he has overdone it. Muslims NEVER think they have overdone it and will simply pass on this world-wide destruction of potential to their poor children.
The greatest aim of all Muslims is to take part in the Hajj? No wonder Islam makes its victims less successful in the real world of the 21st Century: their aspirations are so pathetically low.

Former US President Clinton flew all the way to KL from America to sing UMNO's praises. Here's a taste:
KUALA LUMPUR: Bill Clinton has expressed admiration for Malaysians, saying that their ability to respect other people’s faiths should be emulated by all.
The former US president said the world would be a better place if it emulated Malaysia’s harmony and social tolerance.
Blah blah, yada yada, kumbaiyya and all that. Everyone knows that in Malaysia, everyone loves everyone else. Yeah, right. Believe that and Clinton's got some riverfront property in Arkansas he'd love to sell you.
Clinton's understanding of Malaysia's alleged 'respect for other faiths' and 'social tolerance' is quite plainly only powerpoint deep. At best, he only proves his stunning ignorance or at worse, outright fondness for the ruling party and their lies. Anyways, the jumped-up former governor has made it a habit to jet around the world and suck up to various regimes of, shall we say, questionable repute, so I would favor the latter possibility. Clinton's wholehearted embrace of Badawi and his cronies is hence none too surprising.Expect TV3, the New Straits Times and the rest of Malaysia's government-owned media to make maximum traction out of Clinton's brief visit. As any marketing major knows, there's nothing like a celebrity 'endorsement' to add luster to whatever crap you're trying to foist on the public.

As a counterjihad blogger, I read a lot. Mostly, I read news reports, both from the mainstream media as well as from other sources. From all that reading, over many many years, I am sadly all too aware on how violent Muslims can be to anyone not like themselves (i.e. kufr, Muslims from other sects or tribes, etc). This level of violence is mind boggling as it is persistent. It's not just Muslims killing large numbers of people, as bad as that is. It's Allah's so-called holy warriors who, in the course of carrying out their 'sacred' duties, brutally torture their victims--not to obtain information, but to inflict maximum pain for pain's sake. A jihadist is nothing more than a sadist, a subhuman who derives sheer joy out of destroying human beings.
So, while Mohammed Kasab and his buddy were slaughtering commuters by the score over at Mumbai's central train station last week, some of their Muslim brethren were making their way to Chabad House, the center of Mumbai's microscopic Jewish community. When the terrorists entered Chabad House, they did not just want to kill everyone there. They also sought to maim, torture and kill their victims in the most horrific and barbaric manner possible.
On Monday, Dec. 1, the UK Telegraph reported statements by doctors who examined the bodies of those killed in the Mumbai massacre. "Many of the bodies showed signs of torture," they said, one going on to explain that "of all the bodies, the Israeli victims (clarified elsewhere in the article to mean the victims at Nariman Chabad Center) bore the maximum torture marks. It was clear that they were killed on the 26th itself. It was obvious that they were tied up and tortured before they were killed. It was so bad that I do not want to go over the details even in my head again."
These victims included a rabbi, his wife, who was six months pregnant, and their two year old son, Moshe. The child was miraculously saved by the quick-reacting nanny, who found him unconcious lying in a pool of blood next to his parents, who were by that time dying or already dead. Upon later examination, Moshe was found to have visible bruise marks from being beaten by the terrorists. If the thought of attacking and torturing a baby doesn't create a strong visceral reaction, I don't know what could.
So far, in response to these savage acts of Islamic barbarism, the only reaction I can see from Muslims is indifference. Muslim leaders mouth the usual platitudes as are typically heard when Mohammedans stage a spectacular terrorist attack. But the Muslim masses are unmoved and, as usual, silent. Compare this Muslim non-reaction to the violent and widespread Muslim responses to movies, books, teddy bears and Motoons that offended vast numbers of Muslims in some way. Torturing a Jewish child (and murdering his parents) does not offend Muslims in the slightest, but books and cartoons do.
The only explanation for this upside-down view of morality is that Islam is itself a psychosis, a mental illness that causes its adherents to break tether with the rest of humanity. After all, jihad and Islam sprung from the psychotic and poisoned mind of its founder 14 centuries ago. To this day, the founder's mental illness is bequethed to all who follow in his footsteps.

Meet Mohammed Ajmal Kasab, AKA Azam Amir Kasav, seen here during his recent outing last week in Mumbai's main railway terminal. Mohammed hails from Pakistan and is 21 years old. Like the prophet after which he was named, Mohammed enjoys making raids on infidels and killing kufr in large numbers. Mohammed, along with another jihadist, killed at least 50 people in the railway station that night where this photo was taken. He was the only terrorist taken alive in what Muslims are surely referring to as the 'blessed battle of Mumbai'. Now in the custody of the Indian police, he is reportedly singing like a canary.
Another terrorist named Mohammed....can't say that I'm terrible surprised. There will be many more.

How do Muslims in one country mark the mass murders of Hindus (by Muslims in the name of Islam) in another country? Why, by demolishing a Hindu temple, of course! Who'd thunk it?
As I've written previously, the Muslim-run City Government of Kuala Lumpur (DBKL in Malay) has a master plan for 2020 ... and this plan conspicuously lacks any Hindu temples.
This brief blurb from today's edition of The Star show the Islamic-sponsored ethno-religious cleansing of the city (and by extension, the entire nation) is right on schedule. The timing of this event, coming mere days after the murder of over 200 people (mostly Hindus) by Islamic jihadists in Mumbai, makes DBKL's action particularly crass and senseless. Which, for Malaysia's Muslim authorities, is par for the course.
DBKL flattens Hindu shrine
KUALA LUMPUR: City Hall has demolished a 15-year-old Hindu shrine in Taman Desa, Seputeh, at 10am yesterday, causing another round of outbursts from the Hindu community.
Apparently, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) issued a notice indicating the actions it would take on Oct 23, but the message was pasted on the shrine’s wall and not handed over to the management.
MIC president Datuk Seri S.Samy Vellu has asked DBKL to explain why it demolished the shrine that was located on a field.
He added that he would speak to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi about the issue.
Deputy Federal Territories Minister Datuk M. Saravanan said he was upset over the demolition. “I have an understanding with the Federal Territories Minister that no existing temples would be demolished. If there was any development on the land, then the temple would be relocated,” he said.
Saravanan said he would arrange for a meeting with the DBKL officers to get full details.
Mr. Saravanan, I can spare you the fruitless waiting and give you the full details right now. Allow me the privilege of being blunt. If you're a kafir and you are, then to a Muslim, your blood, property, and treasure are not sacred. Not now, and not ever.
The Anti Jihadist's forecast for Malaysia for the next few decades is for continued temple demolitions (Buddhist and Hindu) with an 99% chance of Islamification. You can't say we didn't warn you.

In part one of 'The kafir mouse that roared", I wrote my suspicions that one of my comments at Malaysia Today might have had something to do with the blocking of that website back in August of this year. Anyways, I suspected but never had confirmation that this was the case, until now. Raja Petra Kamaruddin (RPK), the founder and owner of Malaysia Today, wrote this in his column 'No Holds Barred' today:
So, on 26 August 2008, the MCMC (Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission- Ed) ordered all the Malaysia ISPs to block malaysia-today.net, which they did. But they still needed a reason to block malaysia-today.net and they found this reason in a comment posted by anti-jihadist. The problem is anti-jihadist posted that comment on 28 August 2008, two days after malaysia-today.net was put out of action. Is the MCMC clairvoyant and could see into the future? Did it have a crystal ball and knew, two days in advance, that anti-jihadist was going to post a ‘damaging’ comment? It is mind-boggling that the MCMC was able to block malaysia-today.net two days before the comment that caused it to be blocked was posted.
The MCMC realised that they could not justify blocking malaysia-today.net based on a comment by anti-jihadist that was posted two days AFTER the site was blocked. So they decided to unblock malaysia-today.net and instead detain me under Section 73 of the Internal Security Act, barely a few hours later, on vague grounds that I posted articles that incite Malaysians to hate its leaders plus insult Islam and the Prophet.
I don't agree with RPK's dates--according to my own records and the timestamp of the comment in question, I made the comment on the 26th of August. Nevertheless, I agree with the main thrust of his point, that my comment was merely a convenient pretext for something that the Malaysian Government had already decided to do anyway--namely, attempt to silence one of their fiercest critics. And as everyone who cares to know already knows by now, they failed to do this in spectacular fashion. If you want to see the 'damaging comment' that so enraged the Malaysian authorities, by all means, go take a look here at 26 Aug 11:02:44 (the original comment at M-T).
UPDATE: I've added a screenshot of my entire comment in question from the Malaysia Today. The timestamp at the top is fairly non-ambiguous (click to enlarge).
I am certainly sorry for any trouble I've caused RPK, his family, friends, supporters and readers. However, it should be blindingly obvious to all by now that the ruling party UMNO wants RPK silenced, by any means necessary, fair or foul, come hell or high water. My comment was just the convenient pretext they needed for their clumsy and hamhanded attempts at censorship. When that didn't work, the so-called authorities had to try something, anything else against him--ISA imprisonment, Sedition Act, everything but the kitchen sink. I'm surprised the Malaysian Police haven't arrested RPK for jaywalking!
I take great pride that my words were deemed so powerful and 'damaging' that the Malaysian authorities decided to break their country's own laws and shut down Malaysia Today. This of course had precisely the opposite effect intended, as Malaysia Today and RPK are now more widely known and read than ever before. And if I played even a small part in that, then I am thankful. Furthermore, I am very proud of being able to show the world just exactly what sort of thugs and tyrants are in charge in Malaysia, loathsome men who cannot abide by and fear mere comments on a website.
RPK may say Islam is about justice and tolerance. But as we've seen, Malaysia's ruling Muslims consistently demonstrate otherwise.

My Islamic opponent Mr. Ghazi has stopped smacking his head on the mosque floor long enough to make some additional comments at our fair site. And no, he's not bothering to apologize for the Mumbai massacre or express any sympathy for the many victims and their families. Nope, Mr. Ghazi has far more important things to do. He needs to rebut my arguments! Or at least try to.
Is it wrong nowadays for a Muslim to forgive those who are not?? ... Regarding killing of apostates, yes it is true. But it's not as simple as what you think. We have strict rules regarding the issue. You have any problem with that? Why should you? You are not considering of becoming a Muslim after all!
Yeah, I have a problem with killing 'apostates', big time. The execution of anyone wanting to leave is Islam is such a monstrosity, that giving it rules and procedures does nothing to cover the blatant injustice of the very idea. To quote an American politician from a different context, it's like putting lipstick on a pig.
"Say : O ye that reject Faith! I worship not that which ye worship,Nor will ye worship that which I worship. And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship,Nor will ye worship that which I worship. To you be your Way, and to me mine".
Mr Ghazi neglects to tell you that this part of his 'holy' book that he quotes has been abrogated, or canceled out by the later and more violent and intolerant 'Medinan' verses. Of course, he fails to realize that killing of apostates, which he admits is true, violates this part of the Quran. But hey, since the verse has been abrogated, Mr. Ghazi has no problem for lining up the apostates against the wall to be shot/hanged/stoned/etc. The alleged forgiveness of Islam or Muslims, it seems, is not extended to anyone wanting out of Islam.
Innocent people are women, elderly, clergymen (priests, nuns, monks, rabbi etc) and children - who are unable to bear arms.
These supposed 'innocents' as described by Mr. Ghazi are not safe, not from the the Jihad or from Muslims who kill in the name of Allah. Here's a recent development from Egypt:
20.000 Muslims attack Coptic Church in Egypt
Nov 28, 2008: One thousand Christians were today trapped inside the Coptic Orthodox Church of the Virgin Mary in West Ain Shams, Cairo, after more than twenty thousand Muslims attacked them with stones and butane gas cylinders. The Church’s priest Father Antonious said that the situation is extremely dangerous.
The Muslim mob that attacked the church blocked both sides of the street and encircled the church building, broke its doors and demolished its entire first floor. The mob were chanting Jihad verses as well as slogans saying “we will demolish the church” and “We sacrifice our blood and souls, we sacrifice ourselves for you, Islam”, while the entrapped Christians chanted “Lord have mercy”.
In other news from this past week, Jihadists self detonated at a mosque in Iraq and outside the US Embassy in Kabul, killing civilians in both instances.
Didn't these good Muslims get the memo from the Khilafah folks about who's fair game for the jihad? It all sounds very merciful and forgiving of those Muslims, doesn't it? Of course, incidents like these are as common in Dar al Islam as they are often unreported by the major media. And, it goes without saying, that such incidents of Muslim mob justice and Quranic-inspired violence go uncommented upon, unlamented and uncondemned by any Muslim or any Muslim group.
Indiscriminate killing (e.g. by bombing shopping complexes) is against the teachings of Islam. Whereas killing the army of invaders, be it on the battlefield or in the club, is part of defensive jihad in order to expel them and reclaim the rights of the oppressed.
'An army of invaders', he says. Again, another rhetorical loophole which can mean whatever the bloodyhell one pleases. Many Muslims and cohorts of Mr. Ghazi (and almost certainly, Mr. Ghazi himself) see all of Israel as an 'army of invaders', meaning they're fair game for the so-called 'defensive jihad'. Firing rockets blindly on Israel civilians from Gaza is no problem with Muslims at all...it's 'defensive jihad' dontchasee. But wait, isn't even 'defensive jihad' against your self-declared policy of non violence, Mr. Ghazi?
And as for the 'rights of the oppressed' that he mentions, this is code and I shall translate it. "Oppressed" only means Muslims in his context, never any other group, and Muslims 'rights' means the 'right' to have Islam rule supreme.
As for Sunni-Syiah reconciliation, I am very optimistic about it. I don't have to tell you anything about measures taken in the past, present, and also planned for the future. Not a single word. Don't forget the fact that you are my enemy.
Dear infidel readers, you're supposed to take the Great Reconciliation of Shia ('Syiah') and Sunni on faith, as there's no visible evidence for it in the real world. Not that I'd welcome such developments in any event. But after a thousand years of their feuding and intra-Muslim violence, with Sunni and Shia fighting and killing each other relentlessly, I don't see the inter-factional warfare magically resolving itself anytime soon. If ever. So, when one Muslim blogger claims that it's all about to become 'kumbaiyya' in Islamia, color me a tiny bit skeptical.
Regarding Ahmadiyah, the teaching is deviated from the true Islamic teaching. You are trying to defame Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia. HTI are calling for the ban of the cult and demanding the followers to repent, not for the killing of its members. Try not to view the issue from your biased point of view.
Mr. Ghazi of course holds himself and his movement as the final arbiters of Islamic theology. And you proclaim that Ahmadiyya is a cult now? Whoa, but isn't Islam all about tolerance and 'To you be your Way, and to me mine' and all that? So why the obsession with the so-called 'heretics'? If your movement is supposedly all about tolerance, why can't you Khilafah types just leave the 'cult' alone? And haven't many esteemed clerics and imams declared the Shia to be 'heretics' just like the Ahmadiyyas supposedly are? So, isn't reconciliation with Shia equally as wrong as leaving the Ahmadiyya 'cult' alone?
Those who chanted "Kill, kill, kill" are rather emotional than being rational. I'm all against such act of violence.
You mean you're only now disavowing those calls to violence in Java? Now, talk about chutzpah! It turns out that the wall of separation between Javanese in the Ahmadiyya mosque who shouted 'kill kill' and the Muslims in Mumbai who did 'kill kill'--that separation is gossamer thin.
You want to know what 'good manner' is? Well, one thing for sure, it's not like what we have read in this blog. Referring Muslims as Mohammedans, insulting Prophet Muhammad by calling him as 'Mo', putting Nazi's swastika along with word 'Islam', blaming Islam for some Muslims wrongdoings (which were against Islamic teaching), making false accusations, intentionally mis-interpreting Al-Quran and prophet's tradition so that others will view Islam with hatred etc. are absolutely not part of 'good manner'. That's for sure. Is it that hard for a smart guy like you to figure it out?
It's called 'freedom of speech', a kufr concept I know you either don't know about, don't care to know about, or more likely, a principle you utterly reject. Since I'm your enemy (as you admit) and not a Muslim, Muslim rules absolutely do not apply to me, my contributors, or this blog. And furthermore, you can never impose your brand of totalitarianism on us, even though you clearly want to.
Mr. Ghazi and his ilk, of course, are always going to be far more offended at my presence and my criticism of his ideology, than he will ever be with the indiscriminate killings committed in the name of his Allah (Mumbai et al). In the twisted ethical universe of Islam, rejecting Mohammed is a greater crime than mass murder.
Perhaps you are stuck at the point where I revealed the double-standard act of the champion for democracy and so-called 'freedom' - United States of America..?The imperialistic nature of US (and her allies), and the ugly truth of capitalism are hard for you to swallow??
You have lost the war of idea, that's why you guys changed tactics and started to make fool of yourselves by making blind accusations, intended mis-interpretations and blatant lies against Islam.

The guns in Mumbai have finally fallen silent. The well equipped and disciplined jihadists, despite being heavily outnumbered, held off everything the Indian security forces could throw at them for nearly three days. The death toll stands at 195 and is likely to go higher as the burned-out buildings and other battlegrounds in Mumbai are carefully searched. The investigation thus far finds the logistical trail for this 'martyrdom operation' leading back to (where else) Pakistan, which is the center for all things jihad in south Asia.
Does any remember one 'Farouk Peru', my old nemesis, Muslim 'scholar' and jihad apologist? Last year he and I had a series of dueling columns at Malaysia Today. Well, he's back and has surfaced with a letter that spells out his thoughts on the recent actions of his co-religionists. His letter and thoughts thus revealed are so absurd and laughable, I have to respond.
(the) Mumbai massacre was a heinous act perpetrated by those who can scarcely call themselves human beings. I wonder just what kind of psychopathic illness can bring about such a state of mind that one can slaughter other people like that.
The illness you are wondering about is called 'Seventh Century Arabian Bandit' or SCAB syndrome, AKA 'Islam'.
I would like to ask though, is it really Muslims who are behind this merciless massacre of over 120 innocent people? I don't know but does it matter at all?
Does it matter? The fact that he's asking this sort of question, even rhetorically, tells us all we need to know as to what sort of logical circumlocutions are required to be a Muslim nowadays. It's almost like he's saying, don't bother investigating this or any other terror attack, because he already knows where the trail of culpability will lead. Or perhaps, he'd rather that no one knew who the guilty are.
When the Islamophobes who attack guys like me commit their dastardly deed, they will not stop to ask 'Excuse me Mr Muslim, are you supportive of terrorist acts'. They will not even stop to ask me if I am a Muslim or not. Simply because I look the part, I will get my head kicked in, no questions asked.
The bodies of the dead have yet to grow cold, and already, this great Islamic thinker is hurtling accusations of 'Islamophobia' at, well, everywhere and everyone. In the Islamic ethical universe, 'Islamophobia' is a crime as great if not greater than the just-committed acts of mass murder.
So perceptions matter. Whether or not Muslims are behind the Mumbai massacre of 2008, if the people think they are behind it, the repercussions will be the same. Heads kicked in, no questions, no mercy.
We don't have to 'think' that Muslims did this in the name of Islam. We know for certain that they did. As for not being merciful, I think that the evil kufr that you so love to criticize, even now, are far more merciful to Muslims than Muslims can ever be to infidels. You yourself, Mr. Farouk, live in the abode of a kufr land (the UK), amongst the heathens, and what happens? You are allowed to stay there in peace, to practice and yes even free to spread that intolerant and hate-filled ideology of yours. Meanwhile, Muslim terrorists in Mumbai and elsewhere gun down, blow up or otherwise murder innocent civilians, including women and children. And you have the chutzpah to talk about mercy? What gives you the right?
Grim, yes but as Muslims, what can we do about this?
Oh golly, what can Muslims do about all this? I have some ideas.
How about ceasing and desisting with ridiculous conspiracy theories, like that 9-11, Beslan, and other Muslim terror attacks were committed by Jews, the CIA or some other group of kufr to 'make Muslims/Islam look bad'?
How about denouncing and disowning Muslim terrorists and terror groups by name? Sweeping, specifics-free, loophole-laden statements like denouncing 'all terrorism' ala Muhammed Ghazi are meaningless at best, disingenuous at worst.
How about accepting responsibility for a change and apologizing for numerous Muslim acts of terror that occur somewhere on the planet every single day? The outrages of Mumbai are not an aberrant event, like Mr. Farouk seems to think they are--there have been over 12,000 Muslim terrorist acts since 9-11. Has Farouk or any other of his co-religionists EVER apologized for even one of them?
How about Muslims not lionize and treat murdering jihadists like Azahari, Arafat and Amrozi like heroes and rock stars?
How about explaining to us dumb kufr why Muslim terrorists use numerous Quranic verses to justify there acts?
There are 200 or more dead in Mumbai tonight and where is the Muslim outrage? Cartoons in Denmark brought Malaysians and Muslims everywhere on the streets in outrage, but a pile of dead bodies in Mumbai or Beslan or Madrid or London or countless other places elicits no visible Muslim outrage whatsoever.
Even now, Farouk seems much more concerned with 'Islamophobia' -this is the word he repeats over and over in his letter. Does he apologize, empathize with the victims, condemn the guilty, or try to figure out how to stop the next Muslim atrocity? Of course not--THAT would be Islamophobic.

Again, Islam has shown its ugly face in the ongoing terrorist attack in Mumbai. My thoughts are with all the ones who lost loved ones (it goes without saying that I am not including the terrorists, their supporters and kin). My heart goes out to the victims.
To all German speaking readers I would like to recommend the following book: "Djihad und Judenhass" by Matthias Küntzel; the author's website is here (partly in English).
Thirty six hours after the launch of a brazen and murderous rampage upon the unsuspecting metropolis of Mumbai, combat still continues. The 9-11 attacks, horrendous as they were, at least were over in a couple of hours. Now, the jihadists have taken their ongoing assault on civilization to a whole new level. The death toll is about 120 at this hour, with hundreds more maimed and injured...but these numbers will likely rise much higher by the time it's all over.
A little more info is known about the Islamic attackers, but not much. The number of jihadists in the assault force seems to have numbered 20 to 30, which in conventional military terms, is about platoon strength (some reports say 50-60 terrorists). The attackers seem well financed and equipped, with radios, RDX (military grade high explosives), assault rifles, grenades, and thousands of rounds of ammunition. They apparently were inserted into the target zone by sea--perhaps by speedboats coming from a 'mother ship' offshore--as downtown Mumbai is a peninsula with water on three sides. Months of planning and reconnaissance were clearly involved in this 'martyrdom' operation. Someone obviously did their homework in gathering intel here, and how it all happened is likely to emerge in the weeks and months ahead.
At the moment, the Indian security forces are conducting what amounts to a counter-insurgency operation in the heart of their financial and commercial capital. Imagine a two day firefight on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, with hostages, and you get the idea. If any of the jihadists are captured alive, I don't expect the Indians to be too concerned with 'honoring their civil rights'--a critical weakness that infects most counterterror operations throughout the western world. The Indians will extract whatever information they can from their Muslim prisoners by any means at their disposal, political correctness be damned.
This is not a criminal act--this is an act of war. Despite the news that the jihadists were looking for Jews, Britons and Americans to kill, most of the dead and wounded are going to be Indians. India is a democracy, and the outraged Indians are going to demand that their government respond and make someone pay.

Islam and Islamic terrorists have declared war upon the West and Dar al Harb. Inexplicably, the world treats each attack separately, and not part of a larger war. What else do Islamic terrorists have to do to be dealt with as the global menace they truly are?
The latest attacks have occurred in the heart of Mumbai, India's commercial and chief financial center, as well as a major tourist destination. News reports are sketchy at this early hour, but the media is reporting that "gunmen" have made coordinated attacks in at least nine separate locations, including train stations, five-star hotels, restaurants and even hospitals. As I write this, the Taj Hotel, a major five star hotel for western tourists in Mumbai, is under siege and on fire (see photo).
The "gunmen" apparently targeted Westerners, particularly Americans and Brits, and may be holding hostages in at least two major hotels in central Mumbai. The death toll is at least 78 with hundreds more injured. The terrorists have detonated bombs, fired automatic weapons and used grenades on large crowds. The police were attacked head on as well, and the top anti terror police officer in Mumbai is among the dead.
The media may only be using the generic term "gunmen" for the moment. However, from the deadly modus operandi, coordinated assaults and the targets selected, it's clear the murdering b*stards must be followers of the Religion of PeaceTM.
How should infidels respond? Belmont Club writer Richard Fernandez writes:
Now maybe if Israel just withdrew from Gaza, the West Bank or simply vanished from the face of the earth, none of this would happen. Or maybe if the West apologized for something, anything, name it … then none of this would happen. Try anything, because the alternative is to resist. And that will never do.
Perhaps we should all advocate Mr. Ghazi's dystopian vision for a global Caliphate and for everyone to convert to Wahhabi Islam. That should definitely address the 'root causes' of Islamic terrorism. Shouldn't it?
Wednesday, November 26, 2008
Acclaimed counterjihad author and scholar Robert Spencer has another tome out, 'Stealth Jihad- How Radical Islam is Subverting America without Guns or Bombs'. From the inside flap:
Most terrorism experts agree: it is not "if" we are attacked again, but "when." Yet the assault has already happened. A silent battle is being waged on our nation everyday. Not with guns and bombs, but via covert sources: Islamic charities, the ACLU--even presidential candidates. They are all pawns in a stealth holy war. Unwittingly advancing the jihadist agenda not by violence, but through endeavors designed to acclimate and subject us to Islamic law--just the way Osama bin Laden wants it. In Stealth Jihad, bestselling author Robert Spencer exposes how a silent but lethal movement is advancing on the U.S. and calls upon Americans to resist it--before it's too late.
Here Mr. Spencer discusses his new book on CBN, which, sad to say, is about the only TV network willing to give him airtime.

There are some developments going on in the black hole just to the north of here....a combination of the sadistic, the crazy, the megalomaniacal, and just plain tragic. Think of North Korea as a train wreck in agonizingly slow motion:
North Korean leader Kim Jong Il is apparently alive, and apparently incapacitated. Various factions in the government are maneuvering to grab power. The Chinese are involved, backing at least one faction. Chinese and South Korean businessmen who still get into North Korea indicate that there are lot of nervous and scared people up north at the moment. The North Korean government has released photos of Kim Jong Il out and about. But some of these photos are obvious fakes, and none of them is conclusive "proof of life".
Meanwhile, Kim Jong Ils brother-in-law, Jang Song Taek, is apparently running the country, That makes sense, because Jang Song Taek runs the secret police, and in communist police states, the main job of the secret police is to make sure everyone, including the police and military, do as they are told. That said, Jang Song Taek does not appear to have enough clout to take over as the supreme leader, and is more likely to form a coalition with other factions (from the army, national police, Communist Party and any other politicians or officials who appear to have juice). All is has an air of rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic, as the North Korean economy continues to collapse, and the food situation is getting worse.Up north (in the DPRK), it's time for the annual mass executions at the slave labor camps. These are believed to be about fifty of these prisons up north, holding nearly 300,000 prisoners in the "Reeducation" system. People caught trying to leave the country, or doing forbidden things like viewing foreign videos or TV, are sent to the camps, which are basically industrial enterprises. The camps are very profitable, as little is spent on caring for the prisoners. The camps also contain common criminals, some serving life sentences. But most are serving 1-5 years, as these will then go home and serve as a living example of why you should not mess with the state.
But each year, at about this time, the prisoners are forced to witness the mass execution of twenty or more of the "most troublesome" prisoners. It's believed the number killed will be larger this year, because of the larger prisoner population (50 percent greater than a few years ago), and food shortages. Surviving in these camps, for more than a decade, is becoming more and more difficult. Common criminals are being released earlier, as the camps fill up with more people accused of "disloyalty" (for trying to get out of North Korea, run a business, or complain about living conditions.)
More about these camps is known as more former prisoners, and guards, escape to South Korea, and tell their stories. South Koreans no longer dismiss these stories as delusions, no matter how bizarre they are. In any event, the North Korean Reeducation Camps are no different than those found in China, the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. The annual execution of prisoners, to ease overcrowding, was something Saddam Hussein used regularly in Iraq.
Tyrannies, once you take away the labels like 'Allah', the 'Proletariat', etc, all have the same malodorous qualities. That's something that laughable leftwing hack from The Star is not going to bother writing about or admitting anytime soon.
