If Islam Was a Car....

What would it look like? Islam is a mishmash of moongod paganism, blowhard preachings of a pedophile murderer and stupidity. This is what it would look like if it was a car.

Ten Steps to Fascism in Malaysia

By the Anti Jihadist

Malaysian law, specifically the Federal Constitution, in theory promises freedom of speech, assembly and religion. In practice, all these freedoms are denied.

  1. Invoke a threat

Malaysia has technically been under emergency law since 1969. That’s right, the Emergency Powers imposed in the wake of the May 13th riots 39 years ago were never officially rescinded and are still in force throughout the entire country. The most well known Emergency Power is the barbarous Internal Security Act (ISA). Additionally, supposed threats to ‘religious sensitivities’ or ‘racial harmony’ are commonly used by BN to justify the latest government crackdown.

  1. Establish a gulag

If you’re unlucky enough to be detained under ISA, a gulag is exactly the nightmare you will face. ISA detention centres are an infernal existence where detainees, without any sort of formal charges, face torture and inhumane treatment. They are totally cut off from their families, legal representation and the outside world. How many unfortunates indefinitely languish in this sort of hell? The government knows, but isn’t telling—that number is a state secret.

  1. Develop a paramilitary force

RELA is just such a force—a shady, untrained, baton-wielding paramilitary group with a long track record of questionable activities. The existence of RELA provides the government with a useful band of thugs immune from prosecution or oversight. UMNO Youth also functions in ways similar to RELA. UMNO needs this thug caste in order to create a climate of fear, intimidate political rivals, and maintain their power.

  1. Surveil ordinary citizens

The Malaysian authorities regularly use ISA to conduct wiretapping, monitor conversations, read the mail, and to closely scrutinize the movements and activities of anyone deemed “a threat to national security”--in other words, potentially anyone. The Anti Corruption Act also permits such sweeping surveillance and denial of privacy. In recent years, extensive CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) systems have been installed by the authorities in urban areas in Malaysia which permit much greater observation of the public.

  1. Restrict citizen’s groups

Freedom of association in Malaysia is heavily restricted on the grounds of maintaining “racial harmony and public order.” Groups of seven members or more must be approved and registered by the government under the Societies Act of 1996; the government has been known to periodically refused or revoked registrations for political reasons. Leaders of said groups (i.e. HINDRAF) often face arbitrary arrest and detention under ISA.

  1. Arbitrarily detain citizens

Malaysia's well-known author, blogger and political activist Raja Petra (RPK) certainly knows how this feels, having been detained several times in recent years on one pretext or another. The cops, like RPK has told us, describe it as coming to the station to “record your statement”. But what it all amounts to is interrogation and detainment. RPK is not the only one to have suffered such treatment at the hands of the police. Some 20,000 are estimated to have been detained in a similar way from 1960 through 1990.

  1. Target key individuals

Civil servants, academics, politicians and others who openly disagree with the government face censure, job loss, or worse under Malaysian laws, such as the Universities Act of 1971. Bloggers in particular are targeted; they have been monitored, roughed up, arrested and have faced civil lawsuits. In another instance, in January of this year, four opposition politicians were prosecuted under the Sedition Act for revealing a controversial highway concession agreement following a series of protests against toll hikes.

  1. Restrict the press

All major Malaysian media outlets carefully hew the official party line. Why such scrupulous adherence? Because the prime minister, thanks to a licensing scheme that was rammed through the BN-controlled legislature (the 1984 Printing Presses and Publications Act), has total authority to revoke media licenses without judicial review. So BN can shut down any newspaper, radio or TV station that gets out of line by withholding their license to operate. Any such decision is final and cannot be appealed. Journalists also face harassment and attacks from police while trying to cover political events such as public protests and elections.

  1. Cast dissent as treason

Overt dissent of government actions and policy has never been tolerated in Malaysia. For example, UMNO tried to cast Anwar in the recent Permatang Pauh by-election as a race traitor, due to his plan to end the NEP (New Economic Programme), a key plank in UMNO’s political agenda that awards government assistance and benefits based solely on race. And then there’s RPK’s upcoming trial for sedition, which has a case solely based on an article the defendant authored that is highly critical of senior government officials.

  1. Subvert the rule of law

Malaysian law, specifically the Federal Constitution, in theory promises freedom of speech, assembly and religion. In practice, all these freedoms are denied. Muslims do not have a right to leave Islam, and citizens’ groups, if not outlawed, can be denied use of public areas. Malaysian law explicitly forbids any censorship of the Internet, but the order was given anyway last week by MCMC to block Malaysia Today.

If it looks, smells, feels, tastes, and sounds like fascism, then that’s precisely what it is. Fascism in Malaysia is now a reality, and was brought to you by BN.

Ian Blair's Just Desserts for Muslim Appeasement

Sometimes those who feed the crocodile hoping to be eaten last get eaten first. Sir Ian Blair has been the perfect dhimmi. Footbaths and prayer rooms for Muslims. Prefenential hiring for Muslims. Accomodation for the Muslims that make you laugh and shake your head. He has banned reference to Islam and Muslims in reporting terrorist acts. He has been the loudest cheerleader for Islam, rebuking anyone who disputes the 'religion of peace' dogma. What does he get for being a good dhimmi? He is to be destroyed, of course.

While we can all laugh at his stupidity and naivete for believing that he can appease the Muslims and kissing their superior asses, the bigger picture should concern us all. The Muslim officer Ghuffar, who Blair put up on a pedestal as a symbol of multiculturalism, has now turned on him. Not only will he end Blair's career, but he will walk around with $2M for the 'discrimination' he has suffered at the hands of the evil and 'racist' Ian Blair. Truly, the Muslims have a great plan to destroy the West's wretched house from within by their own hands and the hands of the believers by using the infidel's own laws. If this stupidity continues, the believers will be triumphant. Let the jizya flow and the West's coffers be emptied. The Muslims must truly be laughing their asses off at how stupid the infidels are. They deserve the destruction they bring upon themselves.

Ghaffur accuses Sir Ian Blair of racism
Britain's most senior police chief has been accused of being a racist in an unprecedented personal attack by the country's highest-ranking Asian officer.

By Richard Edwards Crime Correspondent
Last Updated: 4:44AM BST 29 Aug 2008

Assistant Commissioner Tarique Ghaffur went public with a highly damaging legal action against Sir Ian Blair, accusing the Metropolitan Police Commissioner of repeated acts of racial, religious and age discrimination.

The dispute is the latest to undermine Sir Ian's leadership of Britain's largest force.

With Scotland Yard responsible for protecting the country from terrorism, policing the capital and protecting the Government and Royal Family, senior officers fear the dispute will leave the force in a state of near paralysis.

Mr Ghaffur's attack, in a televised press conference, resulted in Sir Ian's deputy, Sir Paul Stephenson, issuing a sharp rebuke and left the impression of a force blighted by in-fighting.

Sir Paul told Mr Ghaffur to "shut up" and get on with what he was paid to do. But the commissioner's position appeared fragile as senior sources admitted Scotland Yard had suffered a "deeply embarrassing, damaging and sad day".

Mr Ghaffur's solicitor, Shahrokh Mireskandari, said Sir Ian's future would hinge on the outcome of the case.

He is particularly vulnerable, with the forthcoming inquest into the fatal shooting of the innocent Brazilian Jean Charles de Menezes likely to hear stringent criticism of his management of the force.

Should Mr Ghaffur's legal action succeed, it will further intensify the calls for Jacqui Smith, the Home Secretary, to force Sir Ian out of his job.

David Davis, the former shadow home secretary, has called for the Commissioner to go in the interests of national security and to restore public trust in policing.

The action by Mr Ghaffur, the Met's joint third highest ranking officer, is the first time an officer of such seniority has sued his chief. It plunges the force into its worst racism row since the 1998 Macpherson report branded the force "institutionally racist".

Addressing a press conference he had called in central London yesterday, Mr Ghaffur, 53, said: "My current case is essentially to do with my treatment at the highest levels of the Met, in particular the discrimination I have been subject to over a long period of time by the present commissioner Sir Ian Blair.

"It is to do with the continuation of that treatment into the very important job I was doing as the co-ordinator of the security and safety of the 2012 Olympics."

Mr Ghaffur emphasised that he was directly suing Sir Ian and not the Met, which he still "dearly loves and admires".

Ugandan-born Mr Ghaffur said that his life was a "success story" since arriving as a refugee and rising to become the most senior Asian and Muslim officer in Britain. He thanked senior officers for their exemplary leadership – including the former commissioner, Lord Stevens – but suggested the twilight of his career was ruined by Sir Ian.

Although Mr Ghaffur said he was not seeking "massive" damages, he may be in line for more than £1 million compensation from the force.

Details of his case were leaked in June and Mr Ghaffur said that he had has been further "victimised'' by threats that he would be sacked unless he suspended the tribunal proceedings.

There was consternation at Scotland Yard that he went public with his claims before his case came before a tribunal. After discussion at the highest levels, the Met issued a response through Sir Paul two hours later.

He said: "The Met will not at this time be commenting publicly in detail on the content of Assistant Commissioner Ghaffur's claims, other than to say that we do not accept the charges of discrimination against us and intend to robustly challenge them.

"It is long past time we all shut up, stop making public statements about private disputes and get on with the job we are paid to do."

Mr Ghaffur is also suing Deputy Assistant Commissioner Richard Bryan, the head of Olympics security operations.

He accuses him of "thinly veiled" racist comments and of undermining his position.

Malaysian goverment backtracks on promises not to censor net

Well, it's finally happened, as I long suspected it would. Despite solemn promises to never censor the Internet, the Muslim-controlled government of Malaysia earlier this week gave orders for all ISPs in the country to block Malaysia Today (, one of Malaysia's premier portals on the country's news, information, and politics.

The excuse for this inexcusable act is as follows:

"It is being blocked because we found that some of the comments on the website were insensitive, bordering on incitement," (said) Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) chief operating officer Mohamed Sharil Tarmizi

Yup, it's always someone named Mohammed, isn't it?

This looks to be an opening move in a Malaysian crackdown on bloggers and the Internet in general. Any sites with information that the ruling party doesn't like could also be blocked, with the owners & contributors to those sites facing official harassment, arrest and/or persecution prosecution. Malaysia Today's owner Raja Petra (RPK) already faces a trial for sedition for a column he wrote for his blog, and similar treatment could very well be in store for other Malaysian bloggers. Additionally, the Malaysian Internal Security Act allows the government to indefintely detain anyone deemed 'a national security threat' (i.e. anyone) without charge or trial.

As Freedom House statistics consistently show, it's almost impossible for a majority Muslim or Muslim-ruled state to be rated 'Free'. Malaysia has been consistently rated as a 'Partly Free' nation, and with this week's developments, that's going to veer much closer to Chinese, Saudi and Iranian-style tyranny; i.e. 'Not Free'.

I think Harry S. Truman said it best when he wrote these words in 1950:

"Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear."

Religion of Peace update

While Americans watch the political conventions on TV and prepare for the Labor Day holiday weekend, and Malaysians rejoice over another electoral setback for the much-hated ruling party and prepare for their upcoming Independence Day (Merdeka), followers of the Religion of Peace have been keeping themselves busy around the world recently:

  • Killing gays in Iraq. The American-backed government there refuses to even acknowledge the problem, let alone do anything about it. Unofficial estimates (the only kind available) estimate that at least 430 gay men have been executed by one band of jihadists or another for 'crimes of sodomy' since 2003.
  • An 'epidemic' of child rape in Afghanistan. Numbers of victims are hard to come by--it could be hundreds, maybe more. The youngest victim thus far is a 2 1/2 year old girl. In the usual style of Islamic government, nothing is being done.
  • Al Qaeda in Algeria bombed a police academy, and also attacked local employees of a Canadian engineering firm. A total of 55 died in the two attacks.
Remember, Islam is a declaration of war upon the whole of humanity. No one--neither believer nor 'kafir' alike--is spared. As you can see in every example shown here, the perpetrators and every maimed or murdered victim was a Muslim.

How many 'peace loving' Muslims in Malaysia or anywhere will dare go out and show their outrage over any of this, or protest this unrelenting river of blood shed in the name of their prophet and god? So far, precisely zero. And I am not going to hold my breath either.

Why BN is unfit to rule

This morning, in the wake of BN’s well-deserved latest electoral setback—make that rout—in a sleepy voting district in northern Malaysia, BN is spinning this latest defeat thusly:

Domestic Trade Minister Shahrir Samad, a member of the ruling party's policy-making council, denied Anwar's victory was a major blow to the government.

"It was his home ground, so that was always an advantage because he has a lot of support there," Shahrir told The Associated Press. "We expected him to win. This just proves there is nothing wrong with our electoral system. But I still doubt he will be able to pull off his Sept. 16 threat."

So, allow me to paraphrase the new Official Line, as previewed above—“we’re still in control, this is no big deal, and we expected to lose anyway.” Expect to hear this spin ad nauseum from every local newspaper and TV news programme in the coming days.

Is this the best that high and mighty BN—actually UMNO—can manage? Colour me as extremely unimpressed. I am again surprised that the mediocre political acumen again on display here comes from the party that has managed to keep a death grip on near total power for over 50 years.

You know, to UMNO I’m just a blogging peon. And the same goes for many of those who might now be reading this. We are people to be ignored, or better yet, controlled, regulated, blocked, censored, arrested and permanently squelched. To UMNO, and in UMNO’s style of governance, there isn’t a problem that a proverbial (or actual) hammer can’t solve, or rather, beat to a pulp. So, as bloggers, the vast majority of us have to know that our opinions don’t count for squat to the powers that (currently) occupy Putrajaya.

Therefore, I can only hope that someone from Pakatan Rakyat is listening when I say this: governance is not just about wrangling for influence, control, or votes. Yes, that’s a part of it. But what it’s supposed to be primarily about is serving something beyond yourself. That’s a key word—‘serve’. Serve in this context does not mean serving yourself first, the party second, and the public a distant third. And no, it also does not mean enriching anyone only of the same ethnic or religious background as yourself. What serving really means is serving others equally to the best of your ability and expecting nothing in return. PKR, to their everlasting credit, may actually understand the concept. But BN? I think we all know the answer to that question.

If BN/UMNO even had a hint of an idea of what term ‘public service’ meant, then this is what we could expect Shahrir Samad or any of his fellow BN Minister to be saying at a time like this:

“We congratulate Anwar Ibrahim for his resounding victory and would like to officially welcome him back to the Federal Government. The people have spoken, and we respect their voice. We of BN look forward to working with Anwar and our other colleagues across the aisle on the many issues that face us as a nation. We now must move forward and work together earnestly with the men and women of PKR and all the rakyat’s chosen representatives. What matters at the end of the day is not what political party is in charge, but what we, the servants of the public, can do to empower all Malaysians to make this country truly great. Hidup Malaysia!”

But no, never in a million years would anyone from BN ever show even a smidgen of this sort of graciousness. This shows more than anything else how unfit BN is to rule even a town council, let alone a country. When you’re a hammer, like BN, every problem is a threat, a nail to be hammered flat. And the hammer calling itself BN, if it ever had a use, has long since outlived its usefulness.

For BN, and particularly for the person at its helm, if they had but a shred of decency, I would ask them all to heed these aged but wise words from Oliver Cromwell:

You have sat too long here for any good you have been doing. Depart, I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go.

A scam warning to all of our readers

I'm going to defer on any more posts on Islam, Jihad, or Malaysian politics for the moment, and ask our readers a question.

Have you ever gotten an email, letter or SMS from someone claiming that you've won a lottery, specifically a foreign 'email lottery' that you've never heard of, or have no recollection entering? Ever been asked by someone claiming to be a barrister to split up an 'inheritance' or 'unclaimed funds'? Ever been asked to 'move funds' out of some third world craphole with you getting a piece of the action? Ever been asked to supply your personal bank account to facilitate the transfer of millions? Or has some lonely heart asked you for just a few thousand dollars for plane tickets or to help him/her out of a jam?

If any of this nonsense has ever crossed your inbox, then you've been solicited by the advance-fee fraud. Also called the 419 scam or the Nigerian scam, scammers send out millions of these sorts of emails every day. And they don't care if you're Muslim or Kafir, Jew or Gentile, American or Malaysian. They just want to steal your money, your life savings if possible. And to do that, the scammers will pretend to be anyone and will tell you anything--"Just send this money to me (usually via Western Union or Moneygram) and millions will be yours." If you do that, I guaranteee that your money will disappear and you will never, ever get it back.

And as for the 'millions' of pounds, euros, dollars or whatever that the scammers tell you about--it's not real and doesn't exist. But what is real are the huge sums of money that these scum steal with their confidence scams. The 419 scam is hugely profitable for the criminals who do it. In the UK alone, just for 2006, the authorities estimate that £150 million was taken by this sort of fraud, with the average victim losing £31,000.

There are almost an endless number of variations of this fraud. It mutates rapidly so that scammers can always find new ways to steal money and create new victims. Scammers will pretend to be anyone to perpetuate their fraud--lawyers, generals, royalty, diplomats, US soldiers in Iraq, government officials, wealthy businessmen, dying philanthropists, and so on. A lot of the scams seem to originate from Africa, specifically Nigeria (hence the photo shown above and the name for this fraud), but it's well worth noting that this scam could originate from anywhere or anyone.

If you ever get an email, text message, letter or phone call from anyone who promises riches for nothing or something that's too good to be true, don't believe it for a second. Don't respond. Just ignore or delete it. And be sure to tell your family and friends about this sort of fraud so that you and the people you care about don't become their next victims.

I decided to write on this topic because PI's inbox gets dozens of these sorts of scams a week. I'm also writing this so that everyone who learns about this can avoid being scammed. Even if you don't agree with our positions here, no one deserves to have their money stolen.

Russian Army loots Georgia

I'm curious as to what Russia's apologists--either in Russia itself or in the West-- have to say about the ongoing behavior of the Red Russian Army, which despite numerous supposed 'ceasefires' continues to advance deeper into Georgia.

The Beeb, despite themselves, got some of this latest Russian malfeasance on video:

Russia's aggression in and against Georgia is also winning fans in the Muslim World. For example, the Jihad-friendly website 'World Futures', where my 'friend' Kazi Mahmood hangs out, is positively giddy about it. He says, "The defeat of Georgia has sent a strong message to the west: Russia is back!" Party time!

Kuala Lumpur's Master Plan-- wipe out all Hindu temples by 2020?

The Muslim-controlled City Government of Kuala Lumpur (Malay acronym DBKL) has a master plan for the city. Turns out this master plan of theirs for the year 2020 has no Hindu temples to speak of. At present, KL has hundreds of such temples, but that could change at any time with both KL's and Malaysia's Federal governments under solid Muslim control.

Maybe the omission (assuming for the moment that's what this is) was a Freudian slip...the Muslim planners for DBKL could very well be showing their true colours of what they really want and don't want for their vision or 'Wawasan KL 2020'. I wonder if the churches were also 'accidently deleted' from their plan. Face it, a number of temples in KL and elsewhere in the country have already been razed (see photo) due to one pretext or another. How many new temples have been allowed to go up to replace those others that were so callously destroyed? Precisely zero.

Don't you see, this is the eventual fate of all 'infidels' who live under Muslim rule. Why aren't there any Hindus left in Pakistan or Buddhists in Afghanistan? Why are there no Jews left in Iraq or Syria, places that used to be homes of thriving Jewish communities? The same process is happening in Malaysia too. Call it Islamic-inspired 'religious cleansing'-- a euphemism for a very ugly and brutal process of oppression and marginalisation. For centuries, Muslims have expelled Hindus and other 'kuffar' from lands that they have conquered. Does anyone truly think that Malaysia is any different?

Even if the present set of Muslim rulers in Malaysia leave alone what's left of the Hindu community, just wait. In a few years, or maybe a decade or two, another generation of Mohammedan overlords may not feel so ecumenical. Expect the harassment, second class treatment, or worse, to continue...not just for Hindus, but for anyone in Malaysia who fails to enslave themselves to the wrathful god of Islam.

Does Lebanon's sad fate portend Malaysia's future?

Malaysia in 2008 has many of the trappings of a successful state. Superhighways, reams of soaring skyscrapers, with the dazzling twin Petronas Towers at the center of Kuala Lumpur, usually never fail to impress tourists or visiting foreign dignitaries. These visible signs of progress show Malaysia as a genuine economic success story, but how did this economic success come about?

The truth about this success is not permitted to be published in Malaysia's Muslim slash government controlled press. In actuality, Malaysia's economic growth has little to do with its majority Muslim population, and everything to do with its large, dynamic and entrepreneurial non-Muslim population.

It is this same population that is increasingly marginalized by long-standing government policies that favor Muslims. It is this same group of people that, year after year, increasingly opts out of Malaysia for foreign shores where better opportunities and more enlightened laws beckon. Even the Kufr of Malaysia, who choose to stay in the only homeland they have ever known, raise smaller families of typically one or two children. On the other hand, the Malays, as Muslims often do, are continuing to outbreed their non-believer neighbors, with Malay families often having four, five, or even more children.

The long-term demographic trends are irrefutable. Malays (who are, by legal definition, Muslims) will increasingly become more dominant as the years pass--from their current bare majority (50-60%) to higher and ever higher levels. The future Malaysia will see Muslim political and by extension economic power become more secure and essentially unassailable. So, what then? What does the future hold for Malaysia?

The past history of the Middle East and of Islam offers a clue. Malaysia's success corresponds to some extent to the early phases of Islamization in the Middle East. The so-called "Golden Age of Islam" was in reality the twilight of the pre-Islamic cultures. The scientific achievements during this period are exaggerated, and those that did take place happened overwhelmingly during the early phases of Islamic rule when there were still large non-Muslim populations. When the non- Muslim communities in the region eventually declined due to Muslim harassment (as is now happening in Malaysia), the Middle East, home to some of the oldest civilizations on earth, slowly declined into backwardness from which it has never recovered.

Take the sad example of Lebanon, which was at one time a reasonably successful and civilized country. However, due to higher Muslim birth rates and the departure of non-Muslims from the nation, Lebanon's slim non-Muslim (Christian) majority disappeared. The result was a country that rapidly declined into Jihad, Islamic-inspired terror, and Sharia barbarism.

Malaysia could well be in for the same fate, as Muslims become more confident, numerous, and aggressive. Even if Malaysia's newly energized political opposition topples the ruling party (both ruling party and opposition are led by Muslims), one cannot reasonably expect any change in the situation. Islam will continue to be at or near the center of Malaysia's national life. Harassment and denial of basic rights to women, apostates, gays, and non-Muslims will continue. Shariah will continue to hold sway and increase its power over civil law and courts. The exodus of non-Muslims will continue. T
he percentage of Muslims in Malaysia's population--due to births and conversions (forced or otherwise)--will continue to grow.

Only minimizing or removing Islam from this picture offers the country any real hope. But these are the options that are precisely off the table, and are not up for discussion of any kind. Without radical change, Malaysia's future appears unavoidable, and bleak.

Enemy of Islam-- Avril Lavigne

Malaysia has told Canadian crooner Avril Lavigne to take a hike. Her KL concert scheduled for August 29th has been abruptly canceled by the government. The following super-lame official explanation has been offered:

Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Minister Shafie Apdal said that the concert falls during the nation's independence period and was not a suitable time to hold such a concert.

There are a lot of events on Aug 29 and the Ministry does not want the independence and the near Ramadan month to be filled with such pop and rock culture, he said.

"As the Minister of Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage, we should be instilling good culture in the young but here we are allowing other parties to organise things," he said Wednesday...

Don't you love the implied conspiracy theories here? Who said paranoia was just for military or espionage types anymore?

So, in the tried and true PI tradition of cutting the crap, this Malay bottom-feeding minister is really saying that he has unilaterally canceled Lavigne's concert for three reasons:

1. She's a female
2. She's a kufr
3. She's a singer

The Malay Muslim ministers who run--I mean own--Malaysia all know that perfect religion of theirs, Islam, is vulnerable to even the slightest waverings of doubt. What could cause such doubts? Well, things like the music of Grammy Award-nominated singers, or books, or Hindu temples, or Christian churches. All things to be banished, banned or destroyed if possible.

Thanks Malaysia, for pulling the lever for BN (Malaysia's Muslim-run ruling political party). You've gotten over 50 years of life in an Islamic paradise, and what could be better than that?

PI's picture of the week

Earlier this month, two clerics of a world religion were accidentally killed while assembling a bomb inside their house of worship. We won’t tell you which religion, but let’s just say that absolutely no one was surprised.

The Resurgence of the Bear

This past week, for the first time since the breakup of the USSR in 1991, Russia has used direct military force against one of its neighbors. Some people are inclined to believe that the US and its allies are somehow responsible, or otherwise make excuses, for Russia's actions in Georgia. If there are those of you out there that want to believe that, that's fine--I am not going to stop you. But first, you owe it to yourself to consider the facts.

Let's be clear about what has happened in Russia. All opposition parties have been liquidated from the Duma; all local government has been obliterated. Political opponents of the Kremlin, like KGB defector Alexander Litvinenko and investigative journalist Anna Politkovskaya have been murdered, the former being poisoned with $10 million of a rare radioactive substance known as polonium. Nobody in Russia has been charged, let alone punished for giving the orders to kill them, or for carrying out those senseless deeds (the death warrants are widely suspected to have originated from the Kremlin, perhaps from Putin himself). Russian military spending has surged dramatically in recent years. Russia rates as 'not free' under the widely respected Freedom House's ratings for 2007, the most recent year available, with rights and liberties rapidly eroding.

Let’s be clear about what has happened in Georgia. Russia gave diplomatic recognition and support to a breakaway region of another country without international agreement, massed troops on the border, repeatedly violated Georgian airspace, shot down a Georgian aircraft, fired missiles into Georgian territory, and attempted to assassinate a major Georgian official in the region. Then it goaded the region into launching an attack on Georgian forces, and when Georgia finally responded with a limited strike against the region, after more than a year of provocation during which Georgia responded only with diplomatic protests, Russia invaded with over 30,000 troops within 72 hours and seized the region, including the use of strategic bombers and 300 other combat aircraft that destroyed civilian apartment blocks. Now, the breakaway region is engaged in massive pogrom-style attacks on Georgian civilians. The control and coordination required for such sizable military operations strongly suggests premeditation and long-term planning on the part of the Russian authorities.

Now, how is any of this the fault of the United States or of President Bush? Could someone tell me again, please?

Those trying to justify Russia's oppression and aggression come off looking like morons or maniacs--or both.

Hypocrite Bush: "Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity must be respected." I say "But What About Kosovo!?"

On my followup regarding Bush's hypocritical action and decision making, I knew Bush would utter the most hypocritical statements. Today he said
“Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity must be respected,” Really, Great Leader? Let's see what you said 8 months ago when you and your EU elites decided to take kosovo from Serbia and give it to the Muslims. You said it was a 'unique' situation. You said the Serbs had proven themselves antagonistic to the poor Muslims and would continue to oppress them. You said it would not set a precedent for other ethnic sections of sovereign states to seek independence or rejoin with another adjoining state.

Same thing or totally different?

The Russian Ambassador to NATO sums it up quite well -

Territorial Integrity of Georgia Impossible without Territorial Integrity of Serbia

“Preserving the territorial integrity of Georgia will not be possible without preserving the territorial integrity of Serbia in Kosovo and Metohija province”, Russian Ambassador to NATO Dimitry Rogozin said in Brussels.

“It is unacceptable to recognize the unilateral independence of Kosovo province from Serbia and, at the same time, keep repeating the territorial integrity of Georgia must be respected when it comes to South Ossetia and Abkhazia”, Rogozin said at the press conference.

“If we all respect the territorial integrity of Serbia in regards to its Kosovo province, then we are also going to honor the territorial integrity of Georgia. But if someone doesn’t respect Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty over Kosovo and Metohija, then they better shut up about the territorial integrity of Georgia”, Rogozin said.

He stressed that West won’t be able to “pretend nothing happened in South Ossetia, as if there was no bombardment of the civilian population, massacre of minorities and murder of the Russian peacekeepers committed by Tbilisi”.

On the other hand, “what NATO did in Yugoslavia — slaughter of civilians, destruction of the bridges on Danube, razing the Belgrade television and the rest, takes away their right to criticize Russia for any present of future actions,” Russian Ambassador said.

“Our critics behave like wolves, wanting to eat their sheep when hungry. But we are not a sheep, we are the Russian bear,” Rogozin said.

All Aboard the Bush Train!

Do you think Bush has noticed? Train or trainwreck? As predicted by me and many others, Bush's Kosovo recognition has consequences. The US bombed Serbia to separate Kosovo from Serbia (thanks Clinton!). Then the US and EU unilaterally recognized a new country Kosovo, ripping Serbia's sovereignty away. They insisted that Kosovo has a separate Muslim identity and could never reconcile with the Serbs, so it must be separated. Putin warned then a precedent has been set. The world was on notice. It is legit for any section of a country that has a majority that don't agree with the majority of the whole have a right to separation. To create another country with its own sovereignty and in Ossettia's case, to merge with Russia as Russian citizens. But Bush and Clueless Condi don't see it that way. Of course not. Bush doesn't see a lot of things. He thinks the Mexican invasion is good for America. He thinks that Islam is a religion of peace, 'one of the great Abrahamic faiths.' He thinks the loss of white majority in America is a good thing. He thinks that the government can have its cake and eat it too. He believes billions in aid to Muslims countries 'wins hearts and minds.' It doesn't matter what reality in your face is telling you. Sadly, the same blindness and naivety engulfs the overwhelming majority of politicians and our presidential candidates. America's best days are behind her. Only a clearing of the decks in our policy decisions on Islam, culture, immigration, taxes and government spending will save us. It's way too late for Bush. I will stand. I will fight. The world and the US are surely entering a much more distressing period and deperately need politicians who will truly put America and Western civilization first. We shouldn't give a damn about Muslim countries. We don't need to win any hearts and minds. Screw them. America should become more isolated, and focus on securing our borders and working on revitalizing our great civilization.

How kids in Gaza spend summer vacation

From Pajamas Media

No arts and crafts or nature hikes in summer camps for budding terrorists.

August 12, 2008 - by Mike McNally

It’s that time of year again: school’s out, the kids are under your feet, and, much as you love the little brats, you find your patience being tested. Eventually, after clearing yet another dirty plate, or tripping over a discarded sneaker, you give them a well-deserved piece of your mind: “Why don’t you get out of the house and do something useful, like memorize the Koran or learn how to fire a shoulder-launched rocket?”

In Gaza, parents have no such frustrations. Hamas and Islamic Jihad, ever mindful of their responsibilities as pillars of the Palestinian community, are running their annual summer camps for thousands of youngsters. And these children won’t be wasting their time going on nature walks or visiting the Smuggled Animals Zoo. In addition to receiving healthy doses of religious and political indoctrination, they’ll be learning how to handle weapons and navigate assault courses.

Malaysia's quieter, but no less insidious Jihad

Jihad, as many know, is not just about bombings and self detonations of Muslims all over the planet. It is also about silencing any skepticism and discussion of the many inherent injustices at the heart of Mohammedanism. It is about intimidation and the threat of violence.

And it works. This sort of jihad recently, and successfully, 'persuaded' a major Western book publisher to not publish Sherry Jones’ historical novel “The Jewel of Medina” about Mohammed’s child 'bride' Aisha. Fear, and fear alone, is a powerful weapon of Islam.

The same reactionary, anti-democratic, anti-free speech, Islamic forces are also hard at work in Malaysia. As usual, in Malaysia this quiet but insidious sort of Jihad enjoys official sanction from the government. A conference last week convened to discuss conversions out of Islam was silenced after a mob of more than 300 Islamists threatened to violently shut it down:

Malaysia spat erupts over curbing religious debate

Malaysian politicians wrangled Sunday about whether to curb sensitive debates on religious disputes in this Muslim-majority nation after protests halted a conference on Islamic conversions.

Police told the Bar Council association of lawyers to abort the forum Saturday after more than 300 demonstrators rallied outside the conference hall and threatened to storm the event.

The forum was supposed to be a rare public platform to examine how Malaysian families are caught in legal conflicts if one spouse in a marriage converts to Islam. The protesters claimed it reflected unfair demands by non-Muslim minorities for religious equality.

Government leaders insisted that Malaysia was not ready for freewheeling dialogues about religion that could undermine multicultural tolerance and social peace [i.e. Muslims will ensure there's no harmony if Islamic supremacy is questioned- ed].

Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar said "there are certain things that are out of bounds for public discussion, even if held in a private place."

However, some non-Muslim politicians called the protest a setback to hopes of resolving disputes in a young nation with a history of ethnic tensions.

"We believe open discussions and dialogues on ... issues (of) religious conversions are imperative to find solutions," said T. Mohan, a youth leader in the Malaysian Indian Congress, a party in the ruling coalition.

Tony Pua, an opposition member of Parliament, said that if lawyers were "not allowed to hold open discussions in relation to our constitution and its laws, then it makes a complete mockery of our legal system."

The Bar Council had organized the conference in response to concerns that the law fails to safeguard minority rights in religious conversion cases.

Malaysia's Buddhist, Christian and Hindus minorities have increasingly felt that they get second-class treatment because of court verdicts that favor Muslims. In a key case last year, Malaysia's highest court rejected a Hindu woman's plea to stop her Muslim-convert husband from changing their son's religion to Islam.

The Bar Council scrapped the forum barely an hour after it began, but denied the protesters' accusations that it was trying to question Islam's position as Malaysia's official religion.

The Bar Council noted that the conference speakers included both Muslims and non-Muslims, proving not all Muslims — who comprise nearly two-thirds of Malaysia's 27 million people — opposed the idea of public discourse that could prove constructive.

Jihad survivor represents US at Beijing Olympics

The US Olympic team has chosen a Jihad survivor, Lopez Homong, to carry the American flag in China, which sponsors ethnic cleansing in his native Sudan through oil purchases and arms sales. At the age of 6, Lomong was among 100 children kidnapped from a church service by Islam's Holy Warriors during a Religion of Peace rape and killing spree.

FauxScholar and Liar Spellberg Demands Novels Be Historically Accurate and Not Denigrate Islam

You would think Spellberg would get a clue. But as a liberal and a radical feminist with an Aisha fetish, she can't help herself. In the Wall Street Journal today ("I Did Not Kill The Jewel of Medina", she defends her criticism of the Aisha novel "The Jewel of Medina" and her urging Random House not to print blasphemous material.

"There is a long history of anti-Islamic polemic that uses sex and violence to attack the Prophet and his faith..." What, is Spellberg a Muslim? What's with "the Prophet." He's not a prophet to any infidel, he's a fraud. a murderer, a pervert. Obviuosly Spellberg has fallen head over heels in love with Mo and Aisha. Maybe she is a lesbian.

"As a historian invited to "comment" on the book by its Random House editor at the author's express request, I objected strenuously to the claim that "The Jewel of Medina" was "extensively researched," as stated on the book jacket. As an expert on Aisha's life, I felt it was my professional responsibility to counter this novel's fallacious representation of a very real woman's life. The author and the press brought me into a process, and I used my scholarly expertise to assess the novel. It was in that same professional capacity that I felt it my duty to warn the press of the novel's potential to provoke anger among some Muslims." Got that? She's an expert, a 'professional' and knows what is best for you, and of course, anyone who dares to write a novel, a piece of fiction. A novel is FICTION. It's made up! There is no rule that says it has to be historically accurate or needs to satisfy sycophant Spellberg's wet dream about Aisha. As a 'professional fraudster, Spellberg has NO problem deceiving the reader in her 'factual' book about Aisha, but historical inaccuracies in a NOVEL?! Heaven forbid! See posting below about Spelberg's lies in her 'novel.'

"I do not espouse censorship of any kind, but I do value my right to critique those who abuse the past without regard for its richness or resonance in the present." Really Spellberg? Really? So you wouldn't be bothered by the Mo cartoons? But in your book's preface you criticize those who mock Islam, who make fun of Mo and Islam in general and want censorship of those who mock Islam. To spellberg, Islam is glorious, rich and those who take a hatchet to it like me are abusing Mo and Aisha. Too bad. This obsession with Aisha is not healthy. Psychiatric counseling is in order for Spellberg.

Camp of The Saints - Italian Style

Every year, hundreds of thousands of illegal alien invaders make the journey across the Mediterranean and invade Europe. Because Europe refuses to defend its borders (like the US), an invasion that is transforming Europe continues. Camp of the Saints becomes more reality than scandalous politically incorrect fiction.

Migrants rescued off Italy coast

Some 12,000 people have arrived in Lampedusa since January
Italian vessels have rescued at least 250 would-be migrants from boats and vessels off the coast of Italy.

The navy rescued at least 175 people, believed to be from Eritrea, Ethiopia and Somalia from three vessels, 190km (120 miles) south of Lampedusa island.

A further 72 people - including seven women and a child - were rescued from a rubber dinghy by the coastguard.

Local politicians say Lampedusa is facing a crisis with 12,000 would-be migrants brought ashore since January.

Dangerous journey

The Italian navy agreed to rescue those onboard the three vessels after they ran out of fuel and water in Libyan territorial waters.

The UN refugee agency, the UNHCR, had appealed to Malta, Libya and Italy to rescue the stranded vessels.

A UNHCR spokesman told Reuters news agency he believed some 25 women and six children were among those on board.

Those rescued from the dinghy 80km south of Lampedusa included seven women and a child, Italian media report.

Thousands of Africans risk their lives to make the perilous journey each year, many leaving in makeshift vessels from Libya hoping to gain entry to Europe via Italy or Malta.

Last year, according to rights watchdog the Council of Europe, some 51,000 migrants arrived by boat in Italy, Spain, Greece and Malta, many of them asylum seekers and refugees who lack legal avenues to enter Europe.

Emergency services in Italy have warned that crowded holding centres in the country are on the verge of collapse, worsening a state of emergency declared by the Italian government over immigrants.

'Moderate' Malaysia update--request to leave Islam denied

Malaysia...truly contemptible. It's easier to leave the Mafia in the US than to get official permission to leave Islam in Malaysia, or any other Islamic country, come to think of it.

Malaysian court rejects woman's bid to leave Islam

A Malaysian court on Wednesday rejected a Muslim woman's appeal to convert back to Christianity, the latest case to test the limits of religious freedom in the country.

The Court of Appeal threw out Noorashikin Lim Abdullah's bid to renounce Islam on technical grounds - that she used her original Chinese name in her suit, her lawyer Edmond Bon said.

The court said the appellant was not legally recognized because her Chinese name - Lim Yoke Khoon - no longer existed following her conversion to Islam in 1994, Bon told The Associated Press.

A Chinese judge on the three-man panel dissented, he said.

"The court rejected the appeal on technical grounds, not on merit. We believe they are afraid to hear the case" because of the sensitivity of the issue, Bon said.

Lim, 35, is likely to appeal to the country's top civil court, he added.

A rising number of disputes about religious conversions have sparked anxiety among minorities - Buddhists, Christians and Hindus - because courts almost always rule against people seeking to leave Islam, which is Malaysia's official religion.

Lim married a Muslim man in 1994, converted to Islam and obtained a new identity card with her Muslim name. But she divorced three years later and wants to convert back to Christianity, Bon said.

In 2003, she applied to change her name and religion on her identity card but the National Registration Department told her to she must get permission from the Islamic Shariah Court to
renounce Islam, Bon said.

Lim turned to the high court seeking a declaration that she was no longer a Muslim but the court ruled in 2006 that it had no jurisdiction to hear the case, Bon said.

Malaysia has a dual court system with civil courts for non- Muslims and Shariah courts for Muslims.

Ethnic Chinese and Indians, who account for more than 30 percent of Malaysia's 27 million people, have complained that court decisions in religious disputes favor Muslims - who account for more than 60 percent and are mainly ethnic Malay.

Debra Spellberg - Liar and Fraud, Sycophant to Aisha

So who is this Debra Spellberg who got her panties in a wad about Aisha and a romantic novel about Mo and Aisha? Well, it turns out that Spengler is a fraud and a liar. She wrote a book that nobody read (except her students who were probably forced) called Politics, Gender and the Islamic Past. In it she tries to build Aisha up and defend Islam; a real Joan of Arc for Islam. No wonder she got so pissed about a novel where Aisha screws around; basically a whore when Mo is off to the cave to talk to Gabe. It is fraud because everyone who studies the Hadiths know Aisha makes clever cutting remarks about how Mo always gets a timely verse to justify his absurd position or to extricate himself from something stupid he did.

Google has a good bit of it in scan image and here are two snags of the chronology of Aisha's life. Basically, Spellberg says Aisha married at 9, and got laid by Mo at 14. What a liar. Anyone who has studied these historical texts know everyone of them puts Aisha's age when Mo the pervert married her at SIX, and raped her at NINE. Her dates are also off as this summary shows:

623 married to Mo at age 9, that would make her date of birth 614

627 Accused of adultery at age 14. That would make her date of birth 613. Spelberg also says elsewhere that she didn't get raped by Mo until she was 14. What a crock.

632 Mo’s dead. She’s 18. That would make her date of birth 614.

678 Aisha’s dead. She is 66. That would make her date of birth 612.

Spellberg as your typical useful idiot for Islam in America’s academia cesspool of Islamic studies, can’t even be consistent. All the 'scholarly' schools of Islam believe Aisha was SIX when she got married and NINE when Mo raped her. But for Aisha sycophants like Spellberg, (apparently there are a lot of them among the Muslims and a few among the dhimmi suckups like Spellberg), that wouldn’t do! That is as horrible as making cartoons of Mo!! Spellberg doesn’t want her wet dream of powerful women in Islam to be stained by the facts. Heaven forbid someone come out with a book that talks about a lot of screwing and conniving in Mo's tent.

It is clear that Spellberg is a liberal and a radical feminist, an obimination combination. I'm sure ISNA and CAIR will put her up as top billing for their annual 'kill the kufar' planning conference.

P.S. From Andrew Bostom's blog, the hadiths -

For the hadith sources of this sacralized pedophilia, see the following:

Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Number 3311:

‘A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) married her when she was seven years old, and she was taken to his house as a bride when she was nine, and her dolls were with her; and when he (the Holy Prophet) died she was eighteen years old.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 88:

Narrated ‘Ursa:

The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with ‘Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death).

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 73, Number 151:

Narrated ‘Aisha: I used to play with the dolls in the presence of the Prophet, and my girl friends also used to play with me. When Allah’s Apostle used to enter (my dwelling place) they used to hide themselves, but the Prophet would call them to join and play with me. (The playing with the dolls and similar images is forbidden, but it was allowed for ‘Aisha at that time, as she was a little girl, wo had not yet reached the age of puberty.) (Fateh-al-Bari page 143, Vol.13)

Sahih Muslim, Book 031, Number 5981:

‘A’isha reported that she used to play with dolls in the presence of Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) and when her playmates came to her they left (the house) because they felt shy of Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him), whereas Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) sent them to her

Texas Tells World Court to Go To Hell - Executes Illegal Alien Monster

Good riddance. Despite protests from Jorge Bush, Clueless Condi, Europe, Mexico, and an army of useful idiots, Texas terminated Medellin. Burn in hell Medellin. He stained this earth for 15 years while his victims - two girls 14 and 16, were brutally tortured, raped and murdered and never saw their lives play out. There are more than 50 Mexican illegal aliens on deathrow and they are all trying to get out of their crime using the international courts. While Mexico is busy conspiring to conquer the US Southwest, they are assisting their citizens who violate our borders and commit horrendous crimes against American citizens. Our politicians do nothing. They are our enemies.

GUARDIAN: Texas defies Hague and executes José MedellínMexican man at centre of international legal dispute is executed in Texas for rape and murder in 1993.

A Mexican man at the centre of an international legal dispute has been executed in Texas for the rape and murder of a 16-year-old girl in 1993.

While protestors both for and against the death penalty demonstrated outside the Huntsville Unit near Houston last night, José Medellín, 33, died after being given a lethal injection.

The execution came just before 10pm shortly after the US supreme court denied a last request for a reprieve.

Pleas for a stay came from Washington, Mexico and the international court of justice (ICJ).

They had all urged Texas not to execute Medellín until a hearing had been held to determine whether or not his original trial was sound.

The state's Republican governor, Rick Perry, rebutted attempts to delay off the execution arguing that the state's courts were not bound by the rulings of the ICJ.

The ICJ in the Hague had ordered Medellín's case and those of 50 other Mexicans on death row be reviewed because none had been informed of their right to consular assistance.

The US state department said it was powerless to delay the execution, noting that the country's supreme court had ruled in March that president Bush did not have the authority to intervene in the case. [That's right, Bush and Condi support the idea that the World Court has authority over American courts!]

The Mexican government has now sent a note of protest to the US state department, expressing "its concern for the precedent that (the execution) may create for the rights of Mexican nationals who may be detained in that country."

Medellín and five other teenage boys in his Houston street gang took part in the rape and murder of two girls, Elizabeth Pena, 16, and Jennifer Ertman, 14, in 1993.

Medellín, who was born in Mexico but [illegally invaded] moved to the US as a child, was convicted of Pena's murder and has never contested the conviction.
Two other members of the gang were also sentenced to die. Two had their sentences commuted to life in prison. The sixth, Medellín's brother, Vernacio, is serving a 40-year sentence.

Medellín's case has become the focal point of the dispute between Mexico, which does not have the death penalty, and the US over whether or not some Mexicans on death row were denied fair trials because of the lack of consular access.

The 1963 Vienna Convention, which both Mexico and the US signed, requires foreigners accused of crimes to be given that opportunity.

Over the last five days, Medellín's lawyers tried to stop the execution by arguing to the Supreme Court that it should be put off until Congress had a chance to pass pending legislation that would require a review of similar cases.

They argued that Medellín would be deprived of life without due process if he died before Congress acted. [ ...and there are members of Congress who wish to destroy our sovereignty and give it the World Court and the UN. They are our enemies.]

But the court decided 5-4 that the possibility of congressional action was too remote to justify a stay.

One member of the supreme court, justice Stephen Breyer wrote however, that to permit the execution would place the US "irremediably in violation of international law and breaks our treaty promises."

Mexico, which opposes the death penalty, has used the Vienna convention on consular relations to try to block the executions of Medellín and 50 other Mexicans in the US.

Twice in the last five years, the ICJ has said hearings should be held to determine if the 51 trials were fair.

Switzerland has not given in - yet

Almost a week has passed since I first posted about the Libya-Switzerland argument. I admit I am a bit surprised; I expected the problem to be solved within hours (i.e. Switzerland grovelling, apologizing, etc.). So far, that hasn't happened.

The two Swiss citizens in a Libyan prison were permitted to leave on bail. However, they have to stay within the country, so for now they are staying at the Swiss embassy in Tripoli. "Tamoil", the oil company owned by the Gaddafis stopped all deliveries to Switzerland, no visas are being granted to Swiss citizens to enter Libya (I wonder who wants to go there anyways?), Swiss companies in Libya are still closed down, and there is still no Libyan ambassador anywhere in Switzerland.

Among others, Jörg Haider, a notorious right wing Austrian politician, has offered to play negotiator to settle the dispute. Haider is known to be a close friend of Libya and the Gaddafi family. So, little guessing is needed to figure out for whom he will try to get the best deal.

Swiss TV has put the Swiss Government into a troublesome situation by having aired an interview with one of the victims: the woman, from Tunisia, insists on the charges and wants them to be punished--Gaddafi junior and his wife that is. Here's a juicy side story: when Aline, the wife was pregnant with Gaddafi's first child (still being his girlfriend at that time), he beat her up so badly that she had to be sent to a hospital. Later his father Muhammar Gaddafi forced his son to marry her.

The judge from Geneva who is in charge of the case has promised that he is not going to drop the charges.

The other victim, a man from Morocco, seems to be more realistic, by expecting that "...they will certainly find someone in Libya who will kill us".

I think that either this is likely, or the victims of the junior Gaddafi thug will receive 'hush money' to drop the case (from either Swiss officials who will pay unofficially of course, or from the Gaddafi family).

Gaddafi junior is known to be "the black sheep" of the Gaddafi family. Now he's their hero. This shows again that when it comes to clashes with the West, even the blackest of black sheep can become a hero... to Muslims.

From our inbox...

This gave me the warm fuzzies...thanks to the person who sent this in (reproduced exactly as it was received, and posted here with the writer's permission):

I like your site. Having worked in the middle east, it is evident that the west is on a collision course with Islam and its followers. This is not something I would have served in the US military 11 years to allow. Personally, I think a simple bumper sticker would cause intense discussion among western citizens.

"Deport ALL Muslims"
"Ban The Koran"

That bumper sticker would be on many bumpers pretty quickly I think. Perhaps making this bumper sticker available will break the wall of silence about the muslim problem.

It is going to take intense pressure on politicians to force them to stop importing more muslims and hence, more problems. Ultimately, and unfortunately, this problem is going to result in Americans and probably Canadians in the streets raising hell about muslims in their countries. We do not need muslims in western countries. Let them fix their own damn problems at home in their own countries.

I think T. Boone Pickens is correct about developing other sources of energy rapidly and reducing our dependence on our enemies. We need to start using every energy saving trick to reduce the money going to these arab countries. It is simply being used to promote our downfall. I personally am going back to a motor scooter.

It's nice to know that some people 'get it'. It would be even nicer if people like this were on the ballot in November, or on any ballot, come to think of it.

What Saudi textbooks are teaching nowadays

Here is a multiple-choice question from a recent edition of a Saudi fourth-grade textbook, "Monotheism and Jurisprudence," in a section that attempts to teach children to distinguish between "true" and "false" belief in God:

Q. "Is belief true in the following instances:

(a) A man prays but hates those who are virtuous.
(b) A man professes that there is no deity other than God but loves the unbelievers.
(c) A man worships God alone, loves the believers, and hates the unbelievers."

The correct answer, of course, is (c). According to the Wahhabi imams who wrote this textbook, it isn't enough to simply worship God or just to love other believers; it is important to hate unbelievers, too.

By the same token, (b) is wrong as well: Even a man who worships God cannot be said to have "true belief" if he also loves unbelievers (Christians and Jews).

In fact, any child who attends Saudi schools until ninth grade will eventually be taught outright that "Jews and Christians are enemies of believers." They will also be taught that Jews conspire to "gain sole control over the world", that the Christian crusades never ended, and that on Judgment Day "the rocks or the trees" will call out to Muslims to kill Jews.

These passages, it should be noted, are from new, "revised" Saudi textbooks, designed to be less harsh on the infidels.

Normally, the contents of another country's textbooks would be of no interest, and, indeed, I'm sure that there are plenty of American textbooks that contain insane, incorrect or otherwise unacceptable information. Saudi schoolbooks, however, are a special case. They are written and produced by the Saudi government and are distributed, free, to Saudi-sponsored Muslim schools as far afield as Lagos and Buenos Aires. This doesn't mean every child who reads them will hate non-Muslims, but Americans are not the only ones who worry about the influence of these books: In Britain, a small political storm broke out last year when Saudi books calling on Muslims to kill all apostates were found in mosques there.

Remember our Saudi 'friends'--15 Saudis carried out the mass murders of 9-11, and Saudi textbooks (paid for when you fill up your tank) are teaching the next generation to make the next 9-11 a reality.
