Iran Introduces Law that Imposes Death Penalty on Converts

RELIGIOUS INTELLIGENCE: LEGISLATION has been brought by the government of President Mahmoud Amadinejad before the Iranian Majlis that would mandate the death penalty for apostates from Islam. The law’s reach would be worldwide, the legislation says.

The Washington think tank, the Institute on Religion and Public Policy reported on Feb 5 the proposed “Bill for Islamic Penal” law will be the first time that Iran has by statute mandated the death penalty for conversion from Islam.


The legislation used the word “Hadd -- meaning that it explicitly sets death as a fixed punishment that cannot be changed, reduced or annulled. In the past, the death penalty has been handed down, and also carried out, in apostasy cases, but it has never before been set down in law,” the Institute’s president, Joseph Grieboski said. Occasionally, I get a message sent to my Youtube account, usually in regards to the one video I put up on behalf of a fellow counterjihadist some time ago. The video, while a bit blunt, is dead on target about Islam. And hence, it never fails from time to time to attract attention from certain individuals.

Beveiled Muslims Test Tolerance in Secular Britain

Women covering themselves up is objectionable to many British people, and is seen as a sign of subjugation. British women, along with their sisters in other Western countries, fought long and hard for their liberation and equal rights. They view the veil, especially the full veil, as a step back in time, as a step back to a bygone age. Wearing it is also seen as a clear sign that Muslims do not wish to integrate.

INTERNATIONAL HERALD TRIBUNE - LONDON: Increasingly, Muslim women in Britain take their children to school and run errands covered head to toe in flowing black gowns that allow only a slit for their eyes.

Like little else, their appearance has unnerved Britons, testing the limits of tolerance in this stridently secular nation. Many veiled women say they are targets of abuse. At the same time, efforts are growing to place legal curbs on the full Muslim veil, known as the niqab.

The past year has seen numerous examples: A lawyer dressed in a niqab was told by an immigration judge that she could not represent a client because, he said, he could not hear her. A teacher wearing a niqab was told by a provincial school to go home. A student who was barred from wearing a niqab took her case to the courts, and lost. In fact, the British education authorities are proposing a ban on the niqab in schools altogether.

David Sexton, a columnist for The Evening Standard, wrote recently that Britain has been "too deferential" toward the veil. "I find such garb, in the context of a London street, first ridiculous and then directly offensive," he said.

Although the number of women wearing the niqab has increased in the past several years, only a tiny percentage of women among Britain's two million Muslims cover themselves completely. It is impossible to say how many exactly.

Some who wear the niqab, particularly younger women who have taken it up recently, concede that it is a frontal expression of Islamic identity, which they have embraced since Sept. 11, 2001, as a form of rebellion against the policies of the Blair government in Iraq and at home.

"For me it is not just a piece of clothing, it's an act of faith, it's solidarity," said a 24-year-old program scheduler at a broadcasting company in London, who would allow only her last name, Al Shaikh, to be printed, saying she wanted to protect her privacy. A step closer to the end for Fidel

El Jefe Maximo has at last stepped aside. Fidel Castro, the perennial darling of the left, Euro-ninnies, and American-haters the world over, has resigned his post as Cuba's leader. It seems that time does not stand still, even in the time warp that is Cuba. If Fidel is being forced to quit his position of 'El Presidente for life', one has to assume that the end for him is near indeed, who is looking increasingly aged and frail (see the pic for a recent shot of Fidel). And not a moment too soon.

Fidel is apparently going to let his younger brother Raul officially take over the so-called 'Cuban Revolution'. Raul, of course, is no spring chicken himself-- he's 76. What Raul might do, especially after his older brother departs, is hard to say. As long as either Castro brother is alive, I doubt that genuine freedom and democracy can come to that long-suffering island ninety miles south of Florida.

Anti-Castro Cubans in Miami, and freedom lovers anywhere, cannot wait for El Jefe to shuffle off this mortal coil. Neither can we.

BEIRUT, Lebanon - A leading human rights group appealed to Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah on Thursday to stop the execution of a woman accused of witchcraft and performing supernatural acts.

The New York-based Human Rights Watch said in a statement that the kingdom's religious police who arrested and interrogated Fawza Falih, and the judges who tried her in the northern town of Quraiyat never gave her the opportunity to prove her innocence in the face of "absurd charges that have no basis in law."

Falih's case underscores shortcomings in Saudi Arabia's Islamic legal system in which rules of evidence are shaky, lawyers are not always present and sentences often depend on the whim of judges.

Robert Lambert, DhimmiApologist and Terrorism 'Expert" Paid By Australia; Recommends Radical Imams Hired As 'Advisors' On Stopping Radicalisation

Tonight I saw this article ("Australian security agencies recruit foxes to guard henhouse", JihadWatch) on this guy Robert Lambert, a former Scotland Yard 'expert' on Muslim community relations. Basically he is telling Australia to hire radical imams to help 'understand Islam' and 'direct the yutes.' So who is Robert Lambert? It took some Google searching, but I did find a posting from the IHRC, the Isamic Human Rights Commission. The IHRC is based in England, and Clown Yvonne Ridley is of course a member. You remember Yvonne, the loser journalist who was captured, and converted and now is a media pig eager to trash the West and her home country England, those vile infidels! Anyway, they had a meeting, the nutty jews were there, UberDhimmi George Galloway, and a bunch of other cultural jihadists. Of course, Dhimmi Lambert was there accepting an award. The summary of the meeting relates the award section and comments from Lambert.

During the IHRC's dealing with the Metropolitan Police, in all the lies, insincerity and deception there was one person the IHRC encountered who genuinely "fought the cause of justice within the police force to try and not demonize the Muslim community" - that was Detective Inspector Robert Lambert. Detective Inspector Robert Lambert is the head of the Muslim Contact Unit at New Scotland Yard. On his retirement from the police force the Islamic Human Rights Commission invited him to join them in the struggle for justice.

I've been to many Islamic Human Rights Commission functions - Islamophobia Awards - often the Metropolitan Police has been in strong contention and indeed I remember one year telling the head of our diversity department at New Scotland Yard, I said we've won an award at the Islamophobia Awards. He said "Good, Bob, things are looking up!" I said "No, its [] not that kind of award.."

I have had concerns about Senator Obama,s honesty regarding his so called Christian faith.

I called The United Church of Christ in Chicago Illinois, where Senator Obama is a member. If Senator Obama were indeed a Christian, he would be regarded as an "Apostate" which according to Islamic Law, would mean he would be subject to a death warrant imposed upon anyone who leaves Islam, according to the Prophet Mohammed. Many muslims who have left Islam have been murdered on this basis worldwide. Putting Islamic law aside, Obama would still be condemned by Islam. However, in Senator Obama's instance, Muslims in America are joyously happy to think that Obama would be a Muslim President in the white House. Obama is deceiving America. Muslims would not be endorsing a Muslim who left Islam and became a Christian.

It is important to note that I had four witnesses to this telephone conversation with his church. The date, time and length of the entire conversation can be verified by phone records. The following is the conversation I had with the church, regarding his membership there.

"My name is Usama, and I am from Egypt. I am interested in joining the church. I need to ask some questions please." The operator directed me to the membership office. I proceeded to ask questions that only a Muslim would ask. "What is the difference between Baptists and your church?" She responded, " We believe exactly what Baptists believe." My second question was, "How big is your church and what kind of church is it?" She responded, "We are a Black African American Church and we have 6000 members. I asked, "Do I have to attend Sunday school classes or other meetings to be a member?" She answered "No." I asked, "Do I have to be baptized to join the church?" She again answered, "No." I asked, "Do I have to pay a membership Fee to join?" Her answer was No. I then asked her what I needed to do to join. She told me that I needed to attend two Sunday School classes in a row and then I would walk the aisle. I replied, "That sounds easy. One last question please. IF I AM MUSLIM AND I BELIEVE IN PROPHET MOHAMMED, PEACE BE UPON HIM AND I ALSO BELIEVE IN JESUS, PEACE BE UPON HIM, DO I HAVE TO GIVE UP MY ISLAMIC FAITH TO BE A MEMBER IN YOUR CHURCH?" SHE ANSWERED, "NO. WE HAVE MANY MUSLIM MEMBERS IN OUR CHURCH." It is important to note that Muslims would not attend church.

I asked her, "Is that how Senator Barak Hussein Obama became a member?" There was silence. I went on and stated that his father and step father were Muslims, his grandfathers and grandmother are Muslims, his uncles and aunts, nephews and nieces and cousins are Muslims and everyone in his family in Kenya are Muslims. She replied to me, "I am sorry, I cannot answer these questions for you." I of course sensed she was uncomfortable. I ended the conversation by saying to her, "YOUR CHURCH HAS DONE GREAT HARM TO THIS COUNTRY BY COVERING A WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING AND THAT WOLF IS SENATOR BORAK HUSSEIN OBAMA." End of phone call.

This is fraud to the people of the United States of America.

The Muezzin Calling the Faithful to Prayer

The Muezzin’s call to prayer, al-Adhan (the ‘dh’ is pronounced as a ‘heavy’ ‘th’ as in ‘thee’) is a particularly mournful drone to sensitive Western ears. It is a most unfortunate din, one feels. Is this what we want in our own towns and villages? Somehow, I doubt it; yet it might well be coming to Oxford very shortly!

Play the following genuine call of the muezzin. I think you will agree that it doesn’t have the happy tones of the peeling of church bells. But then, no one said that the Qur’an was ‘the Good News’, or Gospel. On the contrary, the Qur’an is full of doom and gloom; so we shouldn’t be surprised when the call to prayer in Islam also sounds mournful, also sounds as though the muezzin is in agony! US and EU conspire to rip Kosovo away from Serbia

So Condi and Euro elites at the UN plan to unilaterally recognize Kosovo as independent from Serbia despite Russia's objections. After all, by their 'thinking', they are showing the Muslims their love and respect, i.e., their appeasement. By the same thinking, shouldn't they help Mexico reclaim the Southwest US? How about Dearborn being declared an independent Muslim state in America? That would help Muslim relations a lot! Shouldn't any area of any country that has a majority ethnic group that is at odds with the country's majority ethnic group have the right and the assistance of the UN and the US to declare their independence. It's only fair.



UN holds special Kosovo meeting

Nato's 16,000-strong force will continue working in Kosovo
The UN Security Council will hold a closed meeting on Thursday to discuss Kosovo, which is expected to declare independence from Serbia within days.
The meeting is being held at the request of Serbia, which has expressed strong opposition to any attempt by Kosovo to break away.

Serbia's ambassador to the UN told the BBC that Belgrade would refrain from retaliatory measures against Kosovo.

The US and many EU countries plan to recognise Kosovo's independence.

Serbia's UN ambassador Pavle Jevremovic said the Security Council "must remain part of, let's say, the mechanism handling the crisis, and must be aware what is going on, because after all, a unilateral declaration of independence will bring about the partition of Serbia".

"No country can accept so lightly dismemberment," he added.


Russia is backing Serbia on Kosovo.

President Vladimir Putin told a news conference on Thursday that "support for a unilateral declaration of independence by Kosovo is not moral and not legal".

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said secession would be a mistake and everything possible should be done to "prevent negative developments".

Kosovo is expected to make an independence declaration on Sunday or Monday.

EU mission

The United Nations has administered Kosovo since a Nato bombing campaign in 1999 drove out Serb forces accused of persecuting the province's majority ethnic Albanians.

A civilian police and justice mission for Kosovo is expected to be given the go-ahead by EU member states by the end of the week.

A senior official told the BBC's Oana Lungescu in Brussels that deployment of the 1,800 staff would be staggered over four months.

By early June, 1,500 police officers including special anti-riot units and 250 judges, prosecutors and customs officials would be in place to maintain stability in the self-proclaimed state.

The police and judges are expected to come from Germany and Italy as well as other countries, including the United States, Turkey, Croatia, Norway and Switzerland.

BBC: Danish newspapers have reprinted one of several caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad which sparked violent protests across the Muslim world two years ago.

They say they wanted to show their commitment to freedom of speech after an alleged plot to kill one of the cartoonists behind the drawings.

Three suspects were held in Denmark on Tuesday "to prevent a murder linked to terrorism", officials said.

The cartoons were originally published by Jyllands-Posten in September 2005.

Danish embassies were attacked around the world and dozens died in riots that followed.

Five British Muslims Convicted of Terror Charges Are Freed

DAILY EXPRESS: FIVE young British Muslims who were convicted of terror charges have walked free today.

The students, who were jailed last year for downloading extremist propaganda, were freed by the Court of Appeal this afternoon. 



They had been described by the Old Bailey judge who sentenced them as being "intoxicated" by jihad websites and literature.

The next Malaysian general election cometh

In a hastily arranged press conference earlier today, the Malaysian Prime Minister (after denying he would do so only 24 hours prior) dissolved the country's parliament. In Malaysia's Westminster-derived parliamentary system, this is a necessary precursor to holding a General Election (GE). My sources tell me the next GE is scheduled to take place on (or around) March 1, a scant 17 days from now. In stark contrast to the Americans, who prepare and carry on in electoral mode for 2+ years, the Malaysians prefer something much shorter.

A GE sooner rather than later, and a short election season, tend to favor Malaysia's Islamist-inclined ruling party. Even the chuckleheads in charge of Malay Supremacy Party (UMNO) realize that their man in the PM's office gets more and more unpopular with each passing month. Additionally, as more time passes, the more time the enfeebled opposition has to prepare.

The UMNO fascists, despite themselves, do have some well-honed political instincts. After all, you can't run the country continuously for over 50 years unless you have some idea what you're doing. Despite the shenanigans with this GE, my sources tell me that the "fix is already in", with the formidable UMNO machine already in place, its manpower and money deployed and in position to pound their fragmented opponents. Expect the official announcement of the GE to be withheld until the last possible moment.

This GE is a chance for Malaysians to vote in a less corrupt and a less Islamist-inclined government. However, I expect that this heady possibility will not come to pass. The majority of voters here in fair Malaysia, both living and dead, are Muslims, and you can depend on the fact that the vast majority of Muslims will vote for their own.

This is the best, most devastating rebuttal I have seen yet to the Archdhimmi of Canterbury's suggestion that Sharia should be allowed to exist in the U.K. And in an even more ironic twist, the writer of this rebuttal is a Muslim.

What Rowan Williams wishes upon us is an abomination and I write here as a modern Muslim woman. He lectures the nation on the benefits of sharia law – made by bearded men, for men – and wants the alternative legal system to be accommodated within our democracy in the spirit of inclusion and cohesion.

Pray tell me sir, how do separate and impenetrable courts and schools and extreme female segregation promote commonalities and deep bonds between citizens of these small isles?

What he did on Thursday was to convince other Britons, white, black and brown, that Muslims want not equality but exceptionalism and their own domains. Enlightened British Muslims quail. Friends like this churchman do us more harm than our many enemies. He passes round what he believes to be the benign libation of tolerance. It is laced with arsenic.

He would not want his own girls and women, I am sure, to "choose" to be governed by these laws he breezily endorses. And he is naive to the point of folly if he imagines it is possible to pick and choose the bits that are relatively nice to the girls or ones that seem to dictate honourable financial transactions.

Look around the Islamic world where sharia rules and, in every single country, these ordinances reduce our human value to less than half that is accorded a male; homosexuals are imprisoned or killed, children have no free voice or autonomy, authoritarianism rules and infantilises populations.

What's more, different Muslim nations claim to have their own allegedly god-given sharia. In Saudi Arabia, women cannot drive (What in Allah's name could the Koran have warned about cars?). In Bangladesh and Pakistan, they have no such bar to driving, although increasingly Saudi Wahabi Islam is taking over and we see Saudi sharia taking hold.

It is growing in influence here, too. Ten years ago, the only fully shrouded Muslim women around were from the Arab fiefdoms, the many wives of sheikhs often drawn by cartoonists to convey the absurdity and inhumanity of such cloaks. Now all of Europe has these girls and women rendering themselves invisible in public spaces. It is their elected sharia, so they claim without credibility. There is no agreed body of sharia, it is all drafted by males and the most cruel is now claiming absolute authority.

In Pakistan, on the statutes are strictures on adultery introduced by the military dictator Zia ul-Haq. Women activists in that country have given their lives protesting against the injustice of those laws where women suspected of adultery, or rape victims, are punished in hideous ways and the man goes free.

The Iranian theocracy changes its regulations from year to year, capriciously playing with the lives of females. The morality police hound women and girls, beat them up, imprison them for showing an ankle, walking too provocatively or singing in the streets. They fight back but are ground down eventually.

Two Iranian friends chose to die rather than live under the demeaning religious orders. Go to Afghanistan if you fancy a 12-year-old bride – a practice approved by the mullahs. That's sharia for you. Many women, gay men and dissidents came to Britain to escape Islamic tyrants and their laws. Dr Williams supports those laws and, by default, makes the refugees victims again.

Four years ago, a Saudi woman in her fifties came to my home. She was divorced from a Saudi prince who had sent her away and kept her children. What she said about sharia cannot be repeated. She had money, this princess, but no parental rights and she howled like a child in excruciating pain in my living room.

Yet, family disputes, says Dr Williams, would be easier, within sharia. For whom exactly? The polygamous men who live in this country, yes, certainly. Not for their wives who will be told that God intends them to lower their eyes and accept unjust verdicts.

Many will be sent back to bastard husbands or flinty-eyed mullahs will take their children away. In Bradford and Halifax, they may be forbidden to drive or work where men are employed. Adultery will be punished. I don't think we will have public stonings but violence of some sort will be meted out (it already is) with lawmakers' backing.

Sensing the drift in their direction, British sharia "experts" today shamelessly direct female medical students not to wash their forearms, essential to prevent the spread of infections, because that exposes their flesh.

Does the Archbishop even know that sharia comes in many guises and that several schools of jurisprudence have their own versions? The list is long – Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi, Hanbali, Jafari, Salafi and on and on. Ayatollah Khomeini preferred his DIY set of crimes and punishments when he came to power.

No women are allowed to be imams or serious jurists, so cannot help make their own fair and free set of female-friendly sharia. All the systems insist on ultimate truths, hard certainties. Sharia cannot provide solutions to the complex challenges of modern life and many violate fundamental human rights as established by the United Nations.

Taj Hargey, a historian and Islamic theologian, runs the Muslim Education Centre in Oxford. He, with me, is a trustee of British Muslims For Secular Democracy which is attempting to educate Muslims out of authorised obscurantism and non-Muslims into a better understanding of the progressive and evolutionary nature of the practice of Islam.

He is incandescent that Dr Williams backs a perilous Islamic conservatism, already too powerful in Britain: "Sharia is nothing but a human concoction of medieval religious opinion, largely archaic and outmoded and irrelevant to life today. Most sharia contradicts the letter and spirit of the Koran, distorts the transcendental text."

During his sermons Dr Hargey explains to congregations that, for example there is no blasphemy in the Koran, that the Prophet himself allowed a man to mock the divine revelations. Apostasy, says the holy text, will be dealt with by Allah in the afterlife. Sharia policemen insist apostates should be tortured and killed.

Dr Williams says Muslims want the choice to opt for sharia. What he believes to be choice is, in truth, inner compulsion, the result of brainwashing which begins in the madrassas when girls and boys are young enough to mould.

I have often admired the Archbishop's lofty thoughts, his intellectualism, the passion for human rights, his guts when the Government needs to be chastised. But this time his kind indulgences betray his own invaluable principles and deliver Muslim women, girls and dissidents into the hands of religious persecutors – an unforgivable intervention, which I hope he now sincerely regrets.

Tapped Out Nation and The Lost Conservatives

I have never posted or referenced a Pat Buchanan article. But this past week, Pat posted an article called "Tapped Out Nation" that is a brilliant summary of our state of the union. This fantasy world that Bush lives in, that Democrats thrive in, that so called Republicans wallow in will collapse, but not quickly, it's going to be a painful experience. After the Republicans said McCain is the man to lead us after Bush, I said enough. This is madness. I'm a Republican and I wanted Romney and I will never vote for McCain. Why should I kick myself in the ass for four more years, saying to myself "Could Hillary or Obama be any worse?" Been there. Done that. It reminds me of this quote I read and I realised is the essence of why we are in the 'state' we are in today. It feeds on itself, excessive immigration, multicultural demands, 'justice' for all groups, equality of cultures; all demanding benefits and accomodations and financial support. Of course we are not a true democracy, we are a Republic, but as the central government grows, we are becoming more and more a democracy - the liberal, nanny state version, of course vs what? ... a dictatorship that thinks it is benevolent (truly, it does). Is there much difference?

A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.

I'm sure the Lord will be aghast but not shocked to see his observation in action as it is today, more advanced in Europe, but progressing nicely in America.

“Democracy… while it lasts is more bloody than either [aristocracy or monarchy]. Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There is never a democracy that did not commit suicide.”

Enough with the doom. I know I am working as hard as I can to gather enough wealth to see me through a recession which I believe is all but inevitable given where our institutions are headed. Political madness in the driver's seat of course.

In any case, Buchanan nailed it in my opinion. I particularly liked his comment about our CRAZEE government that borrows from other nations to give out free rebate checks even if you did not buy anything (i.e., pay any taxes) and we borrow to give financial aid to other nations who hate us.

With two-thirds of the nation saying the country is on the wrong course, the two parties are offering candidates both of whom played major roles in setting that course. And neither probable nominee has advanced ideas to deal with the crises America faces, nor even shown any great awareness that the country is in crisis.

The first crisis is fiscal, with the Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid costs about to break the bank as the baby boomers reach early retirement. Add the other entitlement programs, defense and interest on the debt, and this consumes perhaps 90 percent of the budget.

No one is proposing cuts in any major component of the budget. Indeed, Mrs. Clinton is promising universal health care and McCain is promising an expansion of the military. Both favor a stimulus package of roughly $150 billion. As our savings rate is about zero, where are we going to borrow the money for all this?

A second crisis is financial. With the economy in danger of seizing up, the Fed has cut interest rates from 4.25 percent to 3 percent in two weeks. This has sent the dollar plunging again. A sinking dollar means surging prices for oil and all those foreign manufactures to which we are now addicted.

As the dollars pour out, nations have started to spend their dollar hoards to buy up this country at the fire-sale prices being offered in the global marketplace.

A third crisis is strategic. With an army of half a million and a Marine Corps a third that size, we are ending our fifth year of war in Iraq and entering the seventh year in Afghanistan. With the Taliban and al-Qaida now re-established and threatening Pakistan, what will it require in blood and treasure to prevent a strategic disaster there?

Mrs. Clinton is committed to a withdrawal from Iraq, but McCain says we will stay 100 years if necessary and warns, "There's going to be other wars." But wars against whom? Iran? Pakistan? Russia? North Korea? With the U.S. military stretched to the breaking point, and the quality of army recruits falling, who will fight these wars?

Then there is the immigration crisis. It is estimated that there are 12 million to 20 million illegal aliens in the United States today, with many hundreds of thousands being added each year.

McCain and Hillary both voted for the amnesty bill, neither is committed to sending back the illegals, and both give only grudging support to the idea of a border fence. How do they propose stopping the scores or hundreds of millions from Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East from breaking into the United States in coming decades? Does anyone see in either Clinton or McCain the resolve to deal with what Americans are coming to believe is a crisis of national identity and national survival?

Then there is the crisis of the American middle class.

As economist Robert Reich writes, the real wages of working men have not risen in 30 years. Families maintained their standard of living three ways. Wives went to work. The men began to work longer hours than in almost any other developed nation. The family's equity in its home was then borrowed to sustain consumption.

Now, with the middle class tapped out, the home equity used up or declining, and mortgage, auto and credit card debt turning rotten, the U.S. government is going abroad to borrow 1 percent of GDP to hand out in checks in May to get consumers buying again to prevent a recession.

What kind of long-term solution is this?

How can a government as deep in debt as this one, going deeper every day, with the Social Security-Medicare crisis looming, continue to borrow to fight wars, finance foreign aid and defend nations that refuse to make the sacrifices to defend themselves?

America today faces both a fiscal crisis and a currency crisis.

Our dependence on foreign loans, foreign oil and foreign manufacturers is unprecedented.
We are being invaded from the south and seemingly lack the moral fiber to defend our home and throw out the intruders.

We have neither the men nor the weapons to honor all the treaty commitments and war guarantees we have given out to nations all over the world -- and McCain plans to add several more.

Yet, we are consumed with the issue of whether Bill Clinton, by comparing Barack Obama to Jesse Jackson, was playing "the race card."

We are an unserious people in a serious time.

Is There No End to This Nonsense?

Only a matter of some days ago, we learnt that the United Kingdom is to recognize polygamous marriages. This, of course, is to accommodate the Muslims. The taxpayer will have to pick up the tab. It will hasten the Islamization of our once great country, since more and more children will be born, at taxpayers' expense, to Muslim families.



Now, today, we get this nonsense from the Archbishop of Canterbury! One could be forgiven for believing that the political élite are involved in some sort of conspiracy to undermine the system!


As the Archbishop of Canterbury, and being the leader of the Anglican Communion worldwide, this man should be upholding Christian values, not Islamic ones. If the leader of the Anglican Communion doesn't defend Christian values, then who can we expect to do it?



But instead of that, this weak, cowardly, fawning man chooses to side with the very religion which is engaged in a war against the West, against Judeo-Christian civilization, against all that Christianity stands for. This is really quite, quite unbelievable!



The churches are emptying more with each passing day; yet all this man can think of doing is standing up for Muslims, the Christian Church's traditional archenemy.



What this man should be doing is preaching that there is no salvation other than through the Lord Jesus Christ, for that is what a true Christian is supposed to believe. He therefore should be spending his time trying to figure out how to fill the empty churches again. After all is said and done, isn't that the raison d'être of an archbishop in the first place? To fill churches.



Muslims need no help to establish Shariah law in the UK; indeed, it is already operating in many no-go areas throughout Europe, including the UK. Moreover, there is no doubt about it that it will spread, because there is nobody in power strong enough, or determined enough, to stop Islam and Shariah taking root.



Does the Archbishop of Canterbury not realize that each and every country which Islam has ever entered, and has been allowed to put down roots, it has eventually taken over? Each and every single one of them! There is only one exception to this rule, and that was Moorish Spain. But it took the Spaniards over five hundred years to reclaim their land for themselves, and there was much bloodshed in the process, much bloodshed in the 'Reconquista'.



Is this what we want for our country? Is this the legacy we wish to bequeath to our children?



It seems to me that the best thing that this Archbishop can do is hang his head in shame, and resign. The already weakened Church can do without his sort. Moreover, he must surely realize that Muslims deny the Christ, they deny the crucifixion, they deny Jesus as the Son of God. So they would do him out of a job straightaway. Muslims are not in the habit of compromising; it's their way or no way.

Sharia Law in UK Is 'Unavoidable', Says the Archbishop of Canterbury

This is an outrage! That the Archbishop of Canterbury, the leader of the Anglican Communion worldwide, should state such a ridiculous thing is nothing short of disgusting.

This man is not worthy of the office he holds. He is weak and cowardly and pathetic!

There must be ONE law for all people in the United Kingdom. We must do ALL in our power to stop this. It will lead to the Balkanization of the United Kingdom. This man, I am sorry to say, is a fool!- ©Mark

No Shariah in Europe!

BBC: The Archbishop of Canterbury says the adoption of certain aspects of Sharia law in the UK "seems unavoidable".

Dr Rowan Williams told Radio 4's World at One that the UK has to "face up to the fact" that some of its citizens do not relate to the British legal system.

Dr Williams argues that adopting parts of Islamic Sharia law would help maintain social cohesion.

For example, Muslims could choose to have marital disputes or financial matters dealt with in a Sharia court.

Super Duper Tuesday

At last, in the long winded American electoral season, 'Super Tuesday' has arrived. With four viable candidates still in the offing, today's multiple primaries across the country should narrow the field somewhat, and will probably reveal front runners in one or both parties by the time all the votes are in.

But how do these candidates address the Jihad? While 'national security' gets a lot of play as an 'issue' on the stump, the pernicious ideology of Jihad, as well as Jihad's centrality to the entire belief system of Islam, gets little or no attention. The Lamestream Media, as usual, is of no help and does not ask the insightful questions of these candidates that should be asked.

Of the four serious candidates left, I think Romney has the best understanding of the threat of Jihad, so he gets my vote. McCain is like Bush on this--i.e. Islam is 'peaceful' and the terrorists are a small extreme minority--what rubbish.

Our own John Sobieski said it best in September 2006, when he wrote of Romney:

...one and only one of the Republican contenders gets it and really understands. That is Mitch Romney. In an article by Diana West, she quotes Romney regarding his opposition to using Mass. taxpayer money to protect Khatami - "State taxpayers should not be providing special treatment to an individual who supports violent jihad and the destruction of Israel." It is just another point in Romney's favor. He has made blunt statements about Islam that can give one hope that this muddled fog our government works under will lift if he becomes President.

And the other side of the aisle? The two Dems are far worse, with both of them promising 'peace conferences', withdrawals and appeasement without end to our Muslim enemies.

At least the election season this year in the US looks to be the most interesting, competitive and unpredictable in living memory. If nothing else, it will be fun to watch.

So don't forget to vote today, and vote for Mr. Romney--the one candidate out there who gives the US the best chances in the war against Jihad and Islam.

THE GUARDIAN: Phrasebook designed to avoid blaming Muslims for extremism

A new counter-terrorism phrasebook has been drawn up within Whitehall to advise civil servants on how to talk to Muslim communities about the nature of the terror threat without implying they are specifically to blame.

Reflecting the government's decision to abandon the "aggressive rhetoric" of the so-called war on terror, the guide tells civil servants not to use terms such as Islamist extremism or jihadi-fundamentalist but instead to refer to violent extremism and criminal murderers or thugs to avoid any implication that there is an explicit link between Islam and terrorism.

It warns those engaged in counter-terrorist work that talk of a struggle for values or a battle of ideas is often heard as a "confrontation/clash between civilisations/cultures".
