TIMES ONLINE: An estimated 120,000 church followers waited yesterday for the arrival of Pope Benedict XVI at an airfield in the southern Czech city of Brno, the centre of the country’s Roman Catholic heartland.
Although the Vatican had said that it was hoping for as many as 200,000, it is expected to be the largest turnout of the Pope’s three-day trip to the overwhelmingly secular Czech Republic.
Speaking next to a 12m steel cross, the 82-year-old pontiff warned that modern societies excluded God at their peril. “History has demonstrated the absurdities to which man descends when he excludes God from the horizon of his choices and actions,” he said, adding that technical progress was not enough to “guarantee the moral welfare of society”. >>> Foreign Staff | Monday, September 28, 2009

I was in Birmingham, UK yesterday. In my mind, at first, I was in any regular European city. Modernity, a vibe of freedom and a lot of pubs is what I was thinking would be waiting there to welcome just any infidel. In all honesty, what would you expect when you would go to a country but to see their culture in proud display everywhere? Little did I know, I was in for a big surprise!
After my flight to Birmingham day before yesterday, I was really tired so I decided to sleep through the night. When I woke up, I was naturally hungry. So I thought I’d get up and go have some Fish & Chips or something. I went out of my hotel looking for local restaurants. I found plenty of those but what surprised me and pissed me off to a great degree were the signs “100% Halal” that I could see everywhere. It shouldn’t have surprised me, knowing the current turn of events in Europe, but it did.
I don’t know how many of you are aware that my fiancé and I have decided to boycott Halal food altogether. Being from a Muslim background myself, I fully understand the meaning of Halal; I know what it means for meat to be Halal. It’s true that Halal, the word itself, means permissible. However, the process by which meat is declared Halal is, in our opinion, idolatry. When a Muslim butcher slaughters a goat or a cow, for example, not only does he make sure the animal is facing Mecca but he also recites “Be-ism-Allah-e-Allah-u-akbar” which literally translated means, “In the name of Allah, Allah is greater”. So, whenever you eat something that is Halal, you are bearing witness to that statement. And my fiancé and I have decided, we won’t worship Allah, the Muslim god, in any way or let the Muslims profit from us buying their food!
Living in a Muslim country, because of our decision, we pretty much have to not eat any chicken or beef or lamb or whatever else kind of meat you can think of apart from pork and fish. And we have been doing fine without it for about a year. However, whenever we go to “infidel” countries, we eat beef and chicken and whatever else we want, knowing that it is not Halal. And that is what I was hoping to do in Birmingham; I guess you understand me being pissed more now.
Anyway, that is not the only reason I was pissed (because eventually I did find a fast food restaurant that didn’t have Halal all over it and just to make sure it was “extra” Haram, I asked them to put bacon in it), another reason that I was pissed was that wherever I looked, I saw bearded men in their Pakistani or Arabic garb walking around. I heard Urdu and Arabic spoken on the street more than I did English. I saw more women wearing abayas or other things like it to cover themselves than I did free western women wearing skirts or other sorts of beautiful dresses. Yes, I was in Birmingham but I felt like I was back in Dubai or actually worse. I walked into a Borders bookstore there and I saw Qurans on the top shelf. The Bibles were kept on the third or fourth and no one cared but they made sure the Quran had the top spot. In my silent protest, I took one of the Qurans with my left hand and put it on the floor and left the store. I am sure that didn’t mean anything to anyone; I am sure that that Quran ended back up on the shelf but even when no one is watching, I won’t bow down to Allah; even when no one is watching, my God is!
You can read about it in the news, people can show you pictures of how bad England has become but you have to see it for yourself for your blood to actually boil. You have to see it for yourself to believe that England or at least Birmingham as we knew it is no more. We can keep telling our children stories about Charles Martel or the Siege of Vienna but those stories in the near future are going to mean nothing because, as I saw yesterday, Muslims have arrived. And they have arrived with full might. They have taken over stores, restaurants, streets and culture. Muslims have won the war and we haven’t even realized it. Even the most hardcore counter-jihadists among us are thinking, “Europe is going to be Muslim soon” but little do we realize that at least England already is. The only thing that’s left is for Muslims to declare it a Muslim state.
I came back from Birmingham appalled. I hated it. I hated every second that I had to spend there. Western civilization undone in front of our very own eyes. And who is responsible for all of this?
I blame you Britons. No, you weren’t helpless in all this. You weren’t forced at gun point nor were you conquered by another nation against your will. You willingly gave away your country in the name of multiculturalism and equality. You still don’t realize what has happened. I am sure the day you realize what you have done, you will fight harder than ever to reclaim your country but I’m afraid it’s going to be too late for you to just say to Muslims, “you know what? I think you should just leave!” I am afraid when you realize you’ve lost your country, you will have to reclaim it after losing millions of lives including innocent women and children who looked up to you in strong belief that you would protect them and put them before anyone else.
I really do hope Britain wakes up. I am sure it’s not just Britain but other countries in Europe also that are going through this. I have read up on it but I would like to see it myself. Sometime next month, if all goes well, I should be going to Paris for a day. I will make sure to write on that also if I see similar Islamization there. For now, I am just pissed because there isn’t a thing I can do but protest!

Excerpts from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu's address yesterday to the United Nations General Assembly:
NEARLY 62 years ago, the United Nations recognized the right of the Jews, an ancient people 3,500 years old, to a state of their own in their ancestral homeland. I stand here today as the prime minister of Israel, the Jewish state, and I speak to you on behalf of my country and my people.
The United Nations was founded after the carnage of World War II and the horrors of the Holocaust. It was charged with preventing the recurrence of such horrendous events. Nothing has undermined that central mission more than the systematic assault on the truth.
Yesterday, the president of Iran stood at this very podium, spewing his latest anti-Semitic rants. Just a few days earlier, he again claimed that the Holocaust is a lie.
LAST month, I went to a villa in a suburb of Berlin called Wannsee. There, on Jan. 20, 1942, after a hearty meal, senior Nazi officials met and decided how to exterminate the Jewish people. The detailed minutes of that meeting have been preserved by successive German governments.
Here is a copy of those minutes, in which the Nazis issued precise instructions on how to carry out the extermination of the Jews. Is this a lie?
A day before I was in Wannsee, I was given in Berlin the original construction plans for the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. Those plans are signed by Hitler's deputy, Heinrich Himmler, himself. Here is a
copy of the plans for Auschwitz-Birkenau, where one million Jews were murdered. Is this too a lie?
This June, President Obama visited the Buchenwald concentration camp. Did President Obama pay tribute to a lie?
And what of the Auschwitz survivors whose arms still bear the tattooed numbers branded on them by the Nazis? Are those tattoos a lie?
One-third of all Jews perished in the conflagration. Nearly every Jewish family was affected, including my own. My wife's grandparents, her father's two sisters and three brothers, and all the aunts, uncles and cousins were all murdered by the Nazis. Is that also a lie?
YESTERDAY, the man who calls the Holocaust a lie spoke from this podium. To those who refused to come here and to those who left this room in protest, I commend you. You stood up for moral clarity, and you brought honor to your countries.
But to those who gave this Holocaust-denier a hearing (ED- Malaysia and most Muslim states), I say on behalf of my people, the Jewish people, and decent people everywhere: Have you no shame? Have you no decency?
A mere six decades after the Holocaust, you give legitimacy to a man who denies that the murder of 6 million Jews took place and pledges to wipe out the Jewish state. What a disgrace! What a mockery of the charter of the United Nations!
Perhaps some of you think that this man and his odious regime threaten only the Jews. You're wrong. History has shown us time and again that what starts with attacks on the Jews eventually ends up engulfing many others.
THIS Iranian regime is fueled by an extreme fundamentalism that burst onto the world scene three decades ago after lying dormant for centuries. In the past 30 years, this fanaticism has swept the globe with a murderous violence and cold-blooded impartiality in its choice of victims. It has callously slaughtered Moslems and Christians, Jews and Hindus and many others.
Though it is comprised of different offshoots, the adherents of this unforgiving creed seek to return humanity to medieval times. Wherever they can, they impose a backward, regimented society where women, minorities, gays or anyone not deemed to be a true believer is brutally subjugated.
The struggle against this fanaticism does not pit faith against faith nor civilization against civilization. It pits civilization against barbarism, the 21st century against the 9th century, those who sanctify life against those who glorify death.
The primitivism of the 9th century ought to be no match for the progress of the 21st century. The allure of freedom, the power of technology, the reach of communications should surely win the day. Ultimately, the past cannot triumph over the future. And the future offers all nations magnificent bounties of hope.
BUT if the most primitive fanaticism can acquire the most deadly weapons, the march of history could be reversed for a time. And, like the belated victory over the Nazis, the forces of progress and freedom will prevail only after a horrific toll of blood and fortune has been exacted from mankind.
That is why the greatest threat facing the world today is the marriage between religious fanaticism and the weapons of mass destruction.
The most urgent challenge facing this body is to prevent the tyrants of Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Are the member states of the United Nations up to that challenge? Will the international community confront a despotism that terrorizes its own people as they bravely stand up for freedom?
Will it take action against the dictators who stole an election in broad daylight and gunned down Iranian protesters who died in the streets choking in their own blood? Will the international community thwart the world's most pernicious sponsors and practitioners of terrorism?
Above all, will the international community stop the terrorist regime of Iran from developing atomic weapons, thereby endangering the peace of the entire world?
The people of Iran are courageously standing up to this regime. People of goodwill around the world stand with them, as do the thousands who have been protesting outside this hall. Will the United Nations stand by their side?
Ladies and Gentlemen, the jury is still out on the United Nations.
WE want peace. I believe such a peace can be achieved. But only if we roll back the forces of terror, led by Iran, that seek to destroy peace, eliminate Israel and overthrow the world order. The question facing the
international community is whether it is prepared to confront those forces or accommodate them.
Over 70 years ago, Winston Churchill lamented what he called the "confirmed unteachability of mankind," the unfortunate habit of civilized societies to sleep until danger nearly overtakes them. He bemoaned what he called the "want of foresight, the unwillingness to act when action will be simple and effective, the lack of clear thinking, the confusion of counsel until emergency comes, until self-preservation strikes its jarring gong."
I speak here today in the hope that Churchill's assessment of the "unteachability of mankind" is for once proven wrong. I speak here today in the hope that we can learn from history -- that we can prevent danger in time.
In the spirit of the timeless words spoken to Joshua over 3,000 years ago, let us be strong and of good courage. Let us confront this peril, secure our future and, God willing, forge an enduring peace for generations to come.
My fellow Malaysians...
Remember, our government has made friends and heroes out of Iran and their despicable government, while treating the Israelis as villians, war criminals, or worse. Have we chosen wisely or poorly? What do you think?

Statement by Barack Hussein Obama , the President of the United States of America, on the Occasion of Eid ul-Fitr
THE WHITE HOUSE: As Muslims in the United States and around the world complete the month of Ramadan and celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, Michelle and I would like to extend our personal greetings on this joyous occasion. Eid is a time to celebrate the completion of 30 days and nights of devotion. But even on this festive occasion, Muslims remember those less fortunate, including those impacted by poverty, hunger, conflict, and disease. Throughout the month, Muslim communities collect and distribute zakat-ul-fitr so that all Muslims are able to participate in this day of celebration. As I said in Cairo, my Administration is working to ensure that Muslims are able to fulfill their charitable obligations not just during Ramadan, but throughout the year. On behalf of the American people, we congratulate Muslims in the United States and around the world on this blessed day. Eid Mubarak. [Source: The White House] | Saturday, September 19, 2009

I'm happy to report that, just in time for the Muslim holiday 'Hari Raya' (i.e. Eid), one Noordin Top, jihadist and mass murderer extraordinaire, is now at room temperature. The Malaysian was either shot or self detonated as he and his cohorts did battle with the police at their hideout in Java earlier this week.
However, my dear friends, you can be sure of two things. One, as the seeds of war and terror lay in the Quran and in the very teachings of Islam and its founder, you can bet that more Noordin Tops will emerge in the years to come. And two, Noordin is sure to get a hero's sendoff (like his former associate and fellow traveler Azahari received), when the corpse is shipped back here to Malaysia for the funeral in the near future. Noordin's widow and son live in southern Malaysia in Johor state. One can only guess at what that child has been taught about his father and the ideology that the father lived, died and killed for.

First you'll hear a speech, then a man gets flogged. The stoning of two women starts 6 minutes into the video. Watch till the end.
The stoning of women is practiced in Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
Warning: even if the film quality is poor, the images are extremely powerful and are not recommanded for all. [This is NOT suitable for children, for those who have a weak stomach, or for those who are of a nervous disposition.]
Hat tip: Apostates of Islam >>>
This is the barbarity that the law-makers of Aceh province have voted to make law; and this is the religion that our politicians – almost to a man – are in denial about. They call it the 'religion of love and peace', when anyone with an atom of common sense and intelligence knows full well that Islam symbolizes anything but either love or peace. Islam is a cruel, heartless cult. And I use the word 'cult' not as an insult but because that is what Islam truly is. A cult, by definition, venerates a particular figure. In this case, Muhammad. All devotion in a cult is directed towards that figure. In Islam, all devotion is directed towards Muhammad; indeed, Muslims are to love their prophet more than they love their own mothers, fathers, wives, or children. Therefore, the old name for Islam, Muhammadanism, is a very apt term for Westerners to use. Perhaps we should revert to the term! – © Mark
As darkness falls over the world, our politicians continue to be in denial about the dangers of Islam. I speak not of radical Islam, but Islam itself. For Islam truly is the problem; and it’s the greatest problem facing the civilized world today.
The silly word games our politicians play, the useless, banal games to try and separate this Islam from that one, the games they play to exonerate themselves from action – action which they are too cowardly to take, are really not helpful. On the contrary, these games hinder our ultimate success over the cult that is Islam, over the world’s greatest force for darkness, backwardness, inhumanity, and barbarity.
We need to roll back the frontiers. We need to push back the enveloping tide of ultimate backwardness – the evil forces which will take us back to the ‘New Dark Age’. The process has begun; it needs to be halted forthwith, it needs to be halted without further delay. – © Mark
THE TELEGRAPH: Married people who commit adultery could be stoned to death under new law unanimously passed on Monday by MPs in the devoutly Muslim Indonesian province of Aceh.
The law, which will come into effect in 30 days, also decrees that homosexuals could be caned and jailed for eight years.
Those convicted of rape or consuming alcohol could be face up to 200 lashes of the cane meted out in public.
The 69-seat house in the semi-autonomous province voiced no reservations over the new law, an extension of the Sharia code already in force.
Gambling and drinking were already banned after Aceh introduced elements of Sharia law in 2001, when it became compulsory for women to wear headscarves. >>> Ian MacKinnon in Bangkok | Tuesday, September 15, 2009

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the grandly named “The World March for Peace and Nonviolence”, coming to
No word if these people intend to ask the Iranians or North Koreans to cease their ongoing nuclear armament (don’t hold your breath). Plus the idea of Islamic-inspired violence has probably never crossed the progressively-addled minds of the organisers of this event…but I digress.
Like most protest marches, this ‘World March’ is sure to play out as yet another pointless exercise, whose only real ‘benefit’ is to make the participants of said march feel better about themselves, for a little while anyway. And like virtually all so-called ‘anti war’ protests, these people, some of whom are admittedly well-intentioned, operate in a different realm of existence, completely divorced from reality. They actually think that—despite all evidence to the contrary—if everybody just hugs a dictator or jihadist, and maybe gives milk and cookies to these depraved killers, they’ll all just throw down their arms, embrace the Najis Kufr as equals and sing ‘kumbaya’. What a swell idea…why didn’t I think of that?
These purportedly ‘Anti War’ movements are only capable of doing one thing, and one thing only. They enthusiastically lambaste the West, specifically the

The following excerpts, from a Canadian newspaper, is worth sharing..."America: The Good Neighbor". Widespread but only partial news coverage was given to a remarkable editorial broadcast from Toronto by *Gordon Sinclair, a Canadian television commentator. Although presented on his radio show in 1973, Mr. Sinclair's message most certainly touches the hearts and lives of many Americans and their allies today, after the senseless loss of innocent lives on Sept. 11, 2001...
This Canadian thinks it is time to speak up for the Americans as the most generous and possibly the least appreciated people on all the earth. Germany, Japan and, to a lesser extent, Britain and Italy were lifted out of the debris of war by the Americans who poured in billions of dollars and forgave other billions in debts. None of these countries is today paying even the interest on its remaining debts to the United States.
When the franc was in danger of collapsing in 1956, it was the Americans who propped it up, and their reward was to be insulted and swindled on the streets of Paris. I was there....I saw it!
When earthquakes hit distant cities, it is the United States that hurries in to help. This spring, 59 American communities were flattened by tornadoes. Nobody helped.
The Marshall Plan and the Truman Policy pumped billions of dollars into discouraged countries. Now newspapers in those countries are writing about the decadent, war-mongering Americans.
I'd like to see just one of those countries that is gloating over the erosion of the United States dollar build its own airplanes. Does any other country in the world have a plane to equal the Boeing Jumbo Jet, the Lockheed Tri-Star, or the Douglas DC10? If so, why don't they fly them? Why do all the International lines except Russia fly American Planes? Why does no other land on earth even consider putting a man or woman on the moon?
You talk about Japanese technocracy, and you get radios. You talk about German technocracy, and you get automobiles. You talk about American technocracy, and you find men on the moon - not once, but several times - and safely home again.
You talk about scandals, and the Americans put theirs right in the store window for everybody to look at. Even their draft-dodgers are not pursued and hounded. They are here on our streets, and most of them, unless they are breaking Canadian laws, are getting American dollars from ma and pa at home to spend here.
When the railways of France, Germany and India were breaking down through age, it was the Americans who rebuilt them. When the Pennsylvania Railroad and the New York Central went broke, nobody loaned them an old caboose. Both are still broke.
I can name you 5000 times when the Americans raced to the help of other people in trouble. Can you name me even one time when someone else raced to the Americans in trouble? I don't think there was outside help even during the San Francisco earthquake.
Our neighbors have faced it alone, and I'm one Canadian who is damned tired of hearing them get kicked around. They will come out of this thing with their flag high. And when they do, they are entitled to thumb their nose at the lands that are gloating over their present troubles. I hope Canada is not one of those....
STAY PROUD, AMERICA

See how Robert Spencer handled the yelling Muslim? I haven't heard Spencer talk in the past. I have only read his stuff. First off, I just want to say that this man knows a lot about Islam and its not just "oh yeah, Islam sucks" kind of knowledge but real hardcore knowledge of Islamic theology as understood by Muslims.
It happens so many times that when anyone tries to hold a "debate" or a "discussion" with a Muslim and tries to raise objections to Islam, they are yelled at, insulted and forced to shut up--and many, in turn, do shut up because they are decent human beings. What happens as a result though is that that act of the non Muslim, the act of shutting up, is looked at by Muslim as their weakness and then the shout follows, "we have won! Allah-u-akbar!"
Am I saying that Robert Spencer is not a decent human being? Of course not. What I am saying is that Robert Spencer knows that even though he is a decent human being, to be able to heard in this politically correct, ultra-sensitive world, he has to raise his voice when a Muslim starts yelling. He has to raise his voice higher! He can't afford to shut up and then never be heard again. He can't afford to cave in. He can't afford to turn the other cheek because it is not himself that he's fighting for or fighting against, but he is fighting for the freedom of 100s of millions of people and he's fighting against an ideology that will make sure those people don't have their freedom once this religion gets its way.
Remamber, it was swift and strong hand of Charles Martel that drove the invading Muslim armies back on their heels to the hell-hole they came from. There is a reason he is known as Charles The HAMMER. And that reason isn't because he thought, "oh, I might offend Muslims by defending my country and my values, so why not compromise?" His army was smaller than the invading Muslim army but he prevailed because he knew something bigger was at stake than pleasing barbarians. He knew he couldn't make a deal with the devil!
Robert Spencer knows it all also. With Muslims, you can't give them a second chance. You can't let them gain any ground. You can't accept defeat today and reply tomorrow. You can't compromise one value and hope for eternal peace because they will keep on asking for more (look up Arab politicians of people who call themselves Palestinains). And finally, even though it may sound unimportant, you can not let a Muslim objection to concerns raised about Islam go unanswered--you will be called a bigot, an extremist, a fool now but you might not get another chance to set the record straight.
Bravo Robert Spencer!

The Muslim-led government of Malaysia has dealt with last-week's anti Hindu march in their usual fashion. Namely, by doing nothing. There have been no charges made against anyone, nor any arrests made--in a country where wearing a black t-shirt or holding a lit candle in public is enough to get arrested and charged with a crime. No Muslim religious figures have openly condemned the march or the bloodthirsty anti-Hindu overtones of said protest. In fact, the Malaysian Home Minister (the guy in charge of the police and domestic security in this country) has stated openly that the Muslim jihadists at the march (for that is what they are, even if they are sans bombs or guns for the moment) haven't really done anything wrong.
However, the creaky Malaysian government machinery has finally started to swing into action--they have asked a Malaysian news website to remove video of the protest from its website. So, in this case, doing nothing would have been an improvement.
Meanwhile, to add insult to injury, a group of Muslim 'missionaries' (more like experts in taqiyya and disinformation) have announced their findings regarding this tense situation. It seems that the whole ruckus is because there are too many Hindu temples in the country. Too many, you hear that?!? After decades of temple demolitions, brain drain and flight of countless kafirs from Malaysia, the bloody Mohammedans still have the Islamic gall to suggest that there are too many temples! Face it, my fellow kafirs, one temple in Malaysia would one be too many for these cheeky fellows, these all-wise scholars and practitioners of Islam.
It also turns out that members of both the ruling party (UMNO) and the supposed opposition party (PAS) participated in the anti Hindu march slash rally. Which goes to show, as I've said all along, it makes no difference whether the Muslims are in the 'ruling coalition' or in the 'opposition' or whatnot. A Muslim is a Muslim, full stop.
A writer at Forbes has written an unusually on-target piece about the whole sordid matter. Any emphasis added below is added by yours truly:
If you're looking for an image that captures the conflict between fervent Islam and basic human decency, look no further than the Malaysian city of Shah Alam, about 15 miles west of Kuala Lumpur.
On Friday, a group of about 50 men, agitated by plans to relocate a 150-year-old Hindu temple to their neighborhood, made their feelings clear by staging a protest march from a mosque to a government building. Amidst the usual cries of "Allahu Akbar" and "takbeer," the protesters deposited the freshly severed head of a cow--an animal sacred to Hindus--before the building's gate. The group's leaders made threatening speeches and, perhaps caught up in the spirit of the moment, hammed it up for the cameras, stepping and spitting on the cow's head. The police ... stood by and watched.
...Malaysia has rejected secularism in favor of a kind of ethnoreligious apartheid that belongs more in a medieval kingdom than in a modern democratic republic.
(In Malaysia,)...race and religion determine everything from your odds of getting into medical school to the amount you're expected to put down for an apartment. The conversion laws, based on sharia, bring to mind the Eagles' classic "Hotel California": You can check in (to Islam) any time you like, but you can never leave.
