Malaysia welcomes home "national heroes"

The 12 Malaysian 'activists' who were onboard the jihad flotilla flagship Mavi Marmara arrived home today in Kuala Lumpur to a hero's welcome, greeted by no less a personage than Malaysia's Prime Minister.

(Prime Minister) Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said Sunday the 12 Malaysian activists who were on board a Gaza-bound aid ship subjected to a violent and bloody Israeli attack on Monday had achieved a huge moral victory for Malaysia and its people.

The prime minister said the incident involving the Turkish ship Mavi Marmara, in which nine Turkish activists were killed, had sparked worldwide awareness of the atrocities of the Israeli regime, leading to global condemnation, including in the United States.

Najib spoke at a homecoming reception at his residence here for the 12 Malaysian activists came home early Sunday.

Notice that this Malaysian newspaper never departs from the official line, uses the term 'Israeli regime' and attempts to delegitimize the democratically-elected Israeli government at every opportunity.

And he calls this a 'moral' victory for Malaysia. What if there was a big pile of Jewish (I mean 'Israeli') bodies on the decks of the Mavi Marmara or at the bottom of the sea, Mr. Prime Minister. Would that be a great military victory for the Malaysian regime?

So I thought it would be pertinent to hear from one of those 'activists' that accompanied those heroic Malaysians. What exactly was on this activist's agenda?

Consider the terms 'Muslim activist' and 'terrorist'. It's a distinction without a difference.
